Crab Rangoon
Darien C.

I was craving sushi and have yet to try a place out here in the Boro. Lemongrass was on my Yelp list and happens to be close to where I live so my family and I decided to try it out. I've seen others giving them raving reviews so that was a good sign. Keep in mind they do close during the mid part of the day so check their hours before going! We arrived 11 minutes after opening for their dinner crowd and the place was already half full. Definitely a sign that they are popular in the area. My husband and I each ordered Thai tea for drinks and their crab Rangoon for appetizer. Highly HIGHLY recommend both. The tea was just the way I like it, very sweet. And the crab Rangoon - honestly I could eat an order myself. Which I will probably do next time! For our dinner, my husband got the Sex on the beach roll and the Do Re Me roll. I tried the JB roll and Dynamite roll. Both of us enjoyed our picks. They definitely have a bunch of options for both Japanese cuisine and Thai. We will be back to try their Thai menu next! Service was good for them being so busy. I look forward to come back!

Fried rice

No draft beer or fountain sodas, so when you order it is bottles on. Restaurant has a nice interior & ample seating. We were seated promptly and drinks came out quickly. Thai spice levels are 1-5 for the Thai menu. We ordered the wonton soup and gyoza for an app. Both were delicious. The soup is the best wonton soup I've ever eaten. For the entrée, we ordered the combination, fried rice and the beef drunken noodles on a spice level five. Neither entree disappointed! Spice levels was on point and the portions were large. This place gives Pad Thai Kitchen (down the road) a run for its money! The parking and seating situation is much better than Pad Thai Kitchen& it is large enough to accommodate larger parties. I will definitely be back.

Tom Yum Goong soup and Calamari
Mary F.

The food was awesome. It was the perfect amount of spice and sweet I was craving. I definitely liked the Tom Yum Goong soup, it could've used a bit more protein, but overall I liked it! The Calamari was amazing. Food came out fast and service was awesome. The ambiance is very cool and calm.

My favorite sushi spot to-date!!! I had never heard of this place, but I had a craving for sushi and Yelp did not disappoint with the reviews for Lemongrass! Not only are they close to me, they have fast service and their sushi is chef's kiss!! I've been countless times and wanted to make sure I included my two cents for this amazing place! I haven't dined in to this restaurant yet, but their takeout is still fresh and still hot buy the time I get home to eat it! My go-tos are the War Cry, Do Re Me, Crunchy Dragon and the small Chicken Tempura rolls!

Scallop

My family and I have been dinning at Lemograss for the past five years. The last two times my food has been awful. Shrimp pad se ew, the shrimp are smaller but the problem was the wide rice noodles, they were hard and sticky. I thought maybe that was just a bad day for the chefs. We went back yesterday for dinner. I ordered Ginger scallops stir fry, the scallops were sliced into making one scallop into three thin pieces. Not only that, they were chewy and overcooked because they were so thin. Just why, the dish is $18.00 no need to turn one scalop into three and think your fooling people. The veg were also cut so large they can't cook in a wok so they virtually stay raw. The stir fry sauce was also watery. Overall, I wasted my money I will not be back. If an establishment is going to go to this extreme to make extra profit, I will not partake.

Hon Chu roll
Andi O.

This place is one of my favorite places to eat whenever I'm in Murfreesboro. The staff are always pleasant and the food is fresh and tasty. Today I had the Third and Fifth roll and it was so tasty I forgot to take a picture. This roll the Hon Chu was so tasty we ordered a second one and this time I remembered to take a picture. If you plan of dining here, please check to make sure they're open. They close during the day and reopen for dinner.

Don't sleep on that Snow Crab Salad! Literally life-changing good! I could eat eat right now! The service is always good. They low key start to avoid you after you eat a certain amount. I don't mind, I wave them down. They come over real nice. Then almost relieved when you ask for the bill. I love it! I love the lack of bright lights throughout the restaurant. It's chill and makes it feel more private. I honestly cannot wait to go back. I wish I was there right now! Oh yeah! Before I forget! That Green Tea Ice Cream is very odd. Beyond odd. It's straight up weird. But oh my goodness, it's so addictive. I think I had 3 or 4 bowls. I regret not getting more. It's weird. Trust me. But with each taste, it gets more and more addictive. I want it now...

1 star. I've been…read morecoming here about every two weeks and have visited well over a dozen times. Today was my last. Anyone who has eaten here enough knows the game: the more pieces you order, the smaller each piece mysteriously becomes. Fine--it's their restaurant. What wasn't fine was having a man who appeared to be the owner/manager come to our table and tell us, "We can't serve you more fish." When I pointed out there is no limit listed anywhere on the menu, his response was: "If we can't make any dollars from you, we don't need you to come." Imagine running an all-you-can-eat restaurant and openly telling paying customers they're no longer welcome because they're eating too much. If your business model depends on shrinking the sushi and cutting people off when they actually use the all-you-can-eat menu, maybe don't call it all-you-can-eat. And if you can't handle customers eating what they paid for, then maybe you're not cut out to run an all-you-can-eat restaurant in the first place. Don't worry--I got the message. I won't be back.

They really do have it decorated with a rock and roll theme which is nice. The music was just a tad bit too loud for my liking but that's just personal preference. The service was ok. Our waitress was attentive during our visit. Her vibe was just a bit off though, kind of awkward but it didn't really bother me. The reason for the one star is the food. My husband and I both love crab Rangoon, we always get it when we see it on a menu. Unfortunately theirs is mostly the breading and barely any filling. There's only a tiny bit at the center of the wonton. I ordered their volcano roll and honestly it may be one of the worst sushi rolls I've ever tried. The temperature was very off-putting, it was like a weird Luke warm. Usually I'm used to rolls either being cold or hot if they're deep fried. The menu says the roll is fried but I guess they just mean the topping is fried and it's not the whole roll deep fried. I don't think anyone in my party really enjoyed their meals either. We all basically agreed we would not be back.

Tried the teriyaki, ginger, and hot chili and all worked well with rice and chicken. We had a large group and tried the steak, shrimp, chicken, mozzarella sticks, fries, California rolls, and spicy tuna rolls. Plenty of food and everyone had leftovers. Service Issue here was our server never turned on the flattop so when the chef showed up he to turn it on and leave for a while. We were told 5 or so minutes but he didn't return for closer to 15mins. Other than that, it was a good show, our drinks stayed full, and we were given plenty of to-go boxes. Ambiance This place is a lot bigger inside than you would think. If you're not doing hibachi, there's ample sitting. Each hibachi can seat 8 people. It's a little dim in there so when the fire is going on the hibachi you can really see it. Would I go back? Yep! Food on point, enough food for multiple meals, and very decent lunch price.

We asked to be seated at a table. I asked for the Habachi chicken with noodles instead of rice and vegetables. Our order was taken quickly and all of our questions answered. The salad came out soon after but we didn't receive soup. Not sure if that's part of the lunch menu or not but I've always gotten soup and salad at previous visits. When the Habachi chicken and noodles came out it looked extremely bare. The noodles looked and tasted like they were just boiled and smothered in sauce, not cooked or marinated on the Habachi grill. The same went for the vegetables. There was also so salt or pepper in sight. The chicken tasted good but the rest of the meal didn't complement it well. I just think it's kind of sad that it seems like I have to sit and watch them cook the food to make sure it's cooked appropriately and that the same quality standard is not coming from the back kitchen.
