I had my hair done by Linda and the highlights came out terrible. She didn't even go to the roots or do the back of my hair. Also came out very brassy as you can see in the pictures. Called to see if I could get it fixed and the owner told me, "Well maybe you should've checked it better before you left" unbelievable!!! I asked if I could come in to get it fixed and she didn't respond, I asked for a refund and she hung up on me. I called back 3 times with no answer. Very disappointed with the customer service and salon services. Linda needs to retire and the owner needs to learn how to speak to people kindly. read more

On a random twist of fate (and a call out made with the initial stylist I booked with) I had the privilege of being cared for, pampered by and attended to by Susan. Mind you...ON CHRISTMAS EVE! It started this morning with the initial stylist calling out and Susan reaching out to me directly asking to reschedule for a little later in the day...guys this was her day off and she made time for me! I was excited to treat myself to a haircut and color because I have been neglecting my hair since I found out I was pregnant so I had about 3-4 different colors PLUS grey hairs all over the place. When I arrived, Susan greeted me with a smile and immediately got started on transforming me. I felt so comfortable in the salon and Susan was so human centered and understanding about what I was hoping my hair would look like and then we began. I want to thank Susan for being so kind and welcoming to a new client and for caring for me on her day off and on Christmas Eve. Talk about going above and beyond for your customers. Three stars for the haircut and easy of booking. I did it all on line and it was super easy. Why do they loose 2 stars ? Because this place is very unwelcoming. I note looking back that they call themselves "mulitcultural" - I'm just going to say that I heard comments from the staff that were not welcoming to all. In addition it was a super stressful atmosphere. They have the TV on too loud to chat and it was turned into one of those "Riots, fear, guns, hide in your bunker... we are all going to die!" stations. I'm used to salons that play country music, or Zen waterfalls where you can breath and relax. This was more like edge of your seat tension and stress. The comments and TV went way beyond a bit of politics with a haircut, more like sitting through an action movie. This may be what they are going for, but its not going to suit me. Great hair cut though - its a shame I wont be back for a second one. Update following owners comments - George was my maiden name. I booked and paid using my married name. I find it interesting that your only reaction to my review was to assume it was fake. No reply to my claim that its unwelcoming ? No denying that the TV is up loud and set to a far right channel ? You are not worried that your staff made such extreme comments that one of your customers felt unsafe in your shop ? So unsafe that she felt the need to warn others ? Recommended by a friend. I would give the technical cut a 4 star. She did not ask much of what I wanted. I showed her a picture. She took my bangs a bit short but all and all a good cut. The 2 stars is due to customer service. I booked a cut and style My short hair cut needs to be styled to really check the cut. She cut it and did not check the cut. Then handed me the style gel and said "here you style it how you like it". No offer of a mirror to see back of cut. Very fast and in and out. I felt rushed out the door. Will not be back. She did not charge me for a style but did not give me what I booked. I've lived all over the US I go to a lot of stylists and never have I been treated this way. Lazy? Not interested in a new customer? Not sure but it was not a good experience Response to reply. Blow drying is not a style, I booked the service I wanted. Offer the mirror. Turn me around to see it. Style my hair. Never have I had anyone make me to style my own hair. And I do a lot of first times with stylists as I travel . . I left with a bad feeling in my gut. OMG... I have found my new salon. Final Destination was recommended on Facebook an had a decent rating so I decided why not, it's just hair. If things go terribly wrong I can just shave it and start all over. Well I can't say anything bad at all. I enjoyed my stylist and conversation was fantastic. It felt like I'd known these ladies forever. For all of you that Criticized the location in your review, why don't you to find a decent spot to rent out and find out how much it will cost you. Be thankful these wonderful women are able to open their doors and provide you with a service apparently you need and can't do yourself. I would love to start off by saying, Susan is a hair goddess. This salon has a friendly atmosphere, and is EXTREMELY clean. The prices are great, and the customer service is even better. Every time I go, I end up spending at least an hour and a half to two hours there but it doesn't feel that way. The girls at Final Destination are so pleasant to talk to, I could spend an entire day here. Not to mention they are SO knowledgeable. I have ALWAYS left with amazing hair and I constantly look forward to going back. If you're looking for a salon that you feel comfortable and welcomed in, this is definitely it. This place is at a gas station with razor wire on the chain link fence, bars on the windows and homeless guys hanging out watching your every move. I felt brave because my husband was with me so I got out of the car and peeked inside and it's decorated with dollar store beachy junk that makes it look like a bad seafood restaurant. Who puts plastic covers on their chairs? I felt like I was at my grandmothers house! So after seeing this place in person I checked the reviews again, it looks like they're from family and friends. The bad reviews obviously came from people who were new customers. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Whoever the stylist was sitting in her chair, sucking on her vape and rocking the same hair I had in the 80's, don't give dirty looks to people looking in the window, they could be a potential client and, well, it's just plain rude. Avoid this place, bad energy, not a single customer in the place (major red flag) and you'll get blocked in by a beer truck making deliveries to the gas station or approached by homeless guys looking for work or money. Not a safe location by any means and if the owner is manipulating Yelp and other sites to make it look like it has good reviews, you should be VERY scared to let them touch your hair. I gotta say it again because I still can't believe it, the salon is at a gas station lol! read more

I went in for my usual root touch up with brown and blonde highlights. This time due to scheduling difficulties the owner, Susan, was who my appointment was with. She was rude the entire appointment. Whenever I had a question about her method her answer was , I've been doing this for thirty years I know better than you. So anyways, at the end of the service I had orange hair all over the top. She tried toning it with a green base toner to counter the red but all that did was turn my old blonde highlights greenish blue. So know I have red on top with greenish blue tones from mid length down. I went back again the very next morning and she told me it looked fine it was my fault that's what I asked for and she couldn't see the orange. She refused to attempt to fix it or to return my money. She was so rude and unprofessional. She is extremely arrogant and egotistical. She thinks that because she has been doing hair for 30 years she should get the Nobel peace prize. I've never seen any thing like it before. Worst stylist ever. So now I have orange hair and must go elsewhere to have it fixed and pay again . Ha ha, I don't know about all that but she def ruined my hair! As for Susan's comments below they are lies. As far as she wants her hair her way or the highway, yes I think the client should get to have their hair the way they want it not the way the stylist wants it. It was a simple request that Susan totally screwed up. I have had my hair done there several times like 7-10 by two other girls one who works limited weekday hours and another who has left. I never once complained or asked for a refund until Susan ruined my hair. Her comments below are all lies. She didn't look at my hair outside, her employee said she saw warm tones in my hair and I believe was scared to say she saw orange. Susan in my opinion is a mean mean women, I've heard her say rude things to employees in front of clients. I thought maybe get them to the side and say that maybe not in front of clients. She is actually a very arrogant mean spirited women in my opinion. If anyone is her way or the highway it's her. She will not put up with anyone disagreeing with her about anything. I've seen it many times sitting in her employees chair getting my hair done. As far as refund goes I never was told not to wash my hair for 24 hours, that is a lie. She had so much product in my hair it was itching and so oily I had to wash it. If washing your hair voids guarantee you really should disclose that info! anyway she is in my opinion very mean and I would imagine most people who know her would agree. Also I believe the pictures speak for themselves, am I the only one who sees orange, Susan says so. One more thing, I'm not sure what Susan is talking about with Sheriff lamb, who I love and voted for. We had a discussion about former Sheriff Paul Babeu. I'm not sure why she is talking about Sheriff Lamb and Sheriff Penzone. Also as far as me making a fool of myself, you know it's really to bad Susan couldn't have been a normal cool person and said, you know I see your concern, don't worry we will get it fixed. All I wanted was to get my hair back to the way it was before she did it. She could have fixed it. I drive a hour in rush hour traffic to get there only for her to tell me I don't see it, goodbye. So disrespectful. Did I get upset, sure I did, wouldn't anyone. I would never treat a client or fellow human being that way. So let me get this straight she says because I washed my hair I don't get to have it fixed. Wow very unkind. I hope you feel good about the way you treated me, very unkind. Tasca and I have shared many texts and I always tell her what a great job she does. Honestly I don't no why she doesn't rent a booth somewhere and take her clients with her, in my opinion she is the best thing that salon has and is to good for it. Morgan too but I know she has already moved on. Also she calls herself confident but there is a difference between confident and overly confident which is what Susan is in my opinion. read more

Very disappointed in my Wigs for Kids haircut. She cut my hair way shorter...after the initial length was cut off. I had showed her a picture of the length I wanted and told her layers. She cut my hair very short in back and angled down longer sides. Its not layered. And I never got to fill out my wigs for kids paperwork. Im still glad I donated but my haircut sucks.
