I had a flashback to my childhood, walking home from elementary school and stopping at the small store on the corner to buy penny candies and other goodies like banana flavored Now & Laters or candy cigarettes. I had to go into that store. Luke R. and Rachel F. were walking by. I pointed out the penny candy sign, and the four of us went in to explore. We found video boxes on display, shelves of candy galore and a fridge with sodas, not a commercial fridge but one like we'd have in our homes. I felt like I went back in time. I think we all did because we giggled and bounced around the store like we were kids! Did I buy any candy? You're damn right I did, and I'd go back and do it again!

It wasn't even on Yelp. I had to add it. Had a blast looking thru all these old-timey candies w/ Rick + Tim + Luke. They had those styrofoam-y UFO things that seemed questionable, sixlets, candy cigarettes, bubble-gum cigars, all the lemonheads/boston baked beans/etc. you could think of and so much more... Also: DVDs, if you're into that sort of thing. Also: pinball, if you're into that sort of thing. Also: a doll collection behind the counter, if you're into that sort of thing. I'm not really sure how this place still exists as a business, but hey! I like it. It's weird. Good stuff, you guys.

Here's the thing. This isn't Macys. It's a resale shop. The store isn't super clean. The items may…read morenot be organized the best. But, we have found awesome things here for ourselves and our grand littles. We take the time to clean them well- toys , clothes, etc. anything we purchase. And we come home happy to rehome items and to save money. It's a win win. We enjoy this store more than Salvation Army and goodwill which we also frequent. On weekends, everything in the store is 1/2 off. You can't do any better than that. Go in knowing you have to give a little to get a little. We have shopped here for years. We appreciate the value.

The floors looked dirty and the wares were haphazardly piled on top of each other on the shelves. The prices also seemed high, but I'm not sure if they have some sort of discount based on tag color or something. There was a lady making a bunch of noise tossing sporting goods merchandise around as I thought she shopped, but later on I ran across her in another area of the store throwing plastic toys around and realized that she was an employee. I asked the lady bringing it out if those were the two orders, she said yes and walked away. So I checked the bags, it wasn't the two orders! I went in the store and waited ANOTHER 20 minutes while they were apparently grabbing it (it doesn't take that long to grab an item from the back). I'm not sure why everytime I come here for a pick up order it takes a long time but this was actually insane. I don't normally make reviews unless the service is really bad, this was really bad.

Appearance wise, my only real complaint is the squares have a somewhat anemic appearance as if they're too light in color. As far as taste, again think Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, bit with just a hint of cake flavor. You order and prepay for your groceries and they bring them out as soon as you notify them you are on your way. Easier said than done I guess. I get there at 4pm and a girl comes out and yells me it's going to be 50 more minutes for my order! I just got out of work and chose the service so I could get it and go! The manager said they started this massive pick system instead of picking orders individually. A convenience this is not. I could have shopped for my own groceries by now. And on top of it, I still have to go home and cook.
