Nicola Wong is the service agent who helped my family and I have yet to meet her who I hear is very knowledgeable in customer service and knows what she's doing and kindly explains to you any questions that you have. If this Elvie picks up the phone, I would suggest you to talk to somebody else, it's worth the wait. Unless you wanna be talked to like a three year-old. And I really hope she reads this because if you are, you need more schooling in social verbiage apparently. That or maybe teaching children in a kindergarten would be more suitable in your forte. This only encouraged me to do my own taxes and never come back to speak or see that thing again.

At no point before the work was completed was I told what the fee would be. I was not given a quote, estimate, or engagement agreement to sign beforehand. When I came to pick up my return, I was asked to sign paperwork at the front desk to file my taxes, but there was still no discussion of the total cost or breakdown of services. The CPA did not personally explain anything and remained in his office while staff handled the transaction. I was charged $500, which was much higher than expected for a straightforward return. I would have appreciated clear communication about pricing before any work was started so I could make an informed decision. I'm sharing this so others know to ask for a written fee agreement upfront before using this service.

Needless to say I was rather worried I would owe a huge sum of money. Stanley was referred to me by a co-worker that has trusted him with her business and personal finances for years. I made an appointment using the handy online form and quickly received a response from a friendly receptionist. ( I note friendly because most receptionists I've dealt with at various places in the valley are cold and unfriendly.) I was able to get the appointment time I requested. The location is easy to find using google maps and there is plenty of parking. Stanley explained his fees and the process as well as software they use for their tax services. Our taxes were completed and we arranged to pick them up. Signed where it was noted and we were off! He did a great job and found us some deductions we were not expecting.
