I was amazed at how many different styles of socks they have ranging from super to cute to very crass. They have socks for men, women, children and infants. Don't bother shopping here! They have an unreasonable return policy, and it's not clearly stated on the receipt. I purchased 4 pairs of socks a few weeks ago and needed to exchange one of the socks for a larger size. Because they were on sale, the person at cash register said they couldn't do so because they were marked down. Printed at the bottom of the receipt, it reads: No refunds. Exchanges only with 30 days w/receipt. I had the receipt and was within the stated timeframe, and was NOT asking for a refund...I only wanted to change the size. I asked for the manager, and she claimed to be the manager (which was hard to believe, and needs to brush up on her customer care skills)! I'm local & will NEVER shop here again, and urge anyone to take their holiday shopping elsewhere. read more

This place was awesome. They have a fantastic sandal selection as well as many sockless shoes like Tom's. The coolest thing they have going on is the bad ass sock selection. Ok first time I came here I was head over heels ecstatic . My main digs for my amazing tiny bubble butt and sexy supple feet is of course "The Uncommon Thread" better know as Stance. Selection is bad ass,frankly I've never seen anyone hold a candle to them as far as they goes. They even had Stance.com beat when it came to Star Wars 40th anniversary edition. My complaints boil down to customer service, lol . When I experience stuff like this I can't help but wonder if the management out this I the employees heads cuz obviously they are not using common sense. Originally the draw to this place was that they had but three get one free. honestly when your buying $20 dollar pairs of socks that deal is you would think a no brainer cuz who in their right mind would spend that on socks .... ok so I'm a freak for socks... Anyway they don't have that anymore . So I asked about it and the answer was our business is so good we don't need to do that anymore ... who the fuck would say that .... lol I thought that seriously crazy talk... I mean so you offered the deal cuz your business sucked??? But now that you can afford not to offer the one thing that would have someone drive into downtown to visit your store you take away... I found my FEET!! I came in to find some flip flops for the beach and ended up getting some socks for my boyfriend and friend. There are so many different options and designs and colors and lengths and just too many to choose from. I was in there for probably 20 minutes or more just trying to decided which socks to get. I found the flip flops in like a minute and they walked around the store and was just in awe. They had different colors, characters, and food. There were pineapples and pizza, tie dye and rainbows, bears and dogs. So many different options to choose from! They had some Star Wars ones that were really cool but when I asked the person working their if they had a different size they said they didn't have Star Wars socks... Umm, they were right there. Lol It was kind of funny. Anyways, I check out and they tried to talk me into another pair to get a free one. The deal was Buy 3, Get 1 Free. It's a cool deal but I passed. There prices seem to range $10-20 for the socks from what I saw. Super cool place to check out if you are just walking around in the gas-lamp district. read more

Great customer service. My wife purchased a very nice pair of sandals here. Upon putting them on the next morning they didn't quite fit as she thought they should. She asked me to exchange them for her since she was here on business and off to meetings. She said the receipt was in the bag. Upon getting to Find Your Feet I discovered the receipt was actually for dinner the night before. No problem the salesperson took the time to look up the sale from the previous day and graciously made the exchange. There's not very many merchants that would take the time to do that. This means to me that they are concerned about customer service and want your continued business. Definitely will return. read more

My daughter picked out a pair of socks that ended up being defective and they had a large hole at the ankle where the plastic was punched through to the cardboard label. I tried to exchange them the next day, but the salesgirl refused. Very poor customer service. If I could give them zero stars I would. I do not recommend this store! Would I ever go there again? No. Purchases two days in a row. Persons at counter not cheerful or helpful the first day, and felt I was interrupting them or annoying them to ask a question. Second day just as bad. Would have walked out but after day one bought the only thing I could not find online. And ONLY went online as I really did not want to give them business after the offhanded treatment. Great selection yes. Hence 2 stars vs 1. Day two at the counter the person checking us out (two separate purchases) talks to other workers the whole time, no words of thanks, really frankly an odd thing. Like they were on camera seeing the reaction to the least caring, focused or polite behavior they could manage without outright being nasty. Never again. Find another store. read more

I was in SD for the weekend we drove in from LA and my only regret is not getting more!
