I got an e-mail from them offering a sale on 6 different Chablis from Domaine Francois Raveneau. These wines are very expensive (over $500 a bottle) and the advertised sale price was $110 for each of them. But then, scrolling down, it said "20 percent off". That didn't make any sense. $110 for a wine that's normally over $500 is a heck of a lot more than 20% off. So I went onto their website only to find THERE'S NO SALE AT ALL!!! I purchased a few bottles of wine in person at their store on Biscayne Blvd. I have been a customer there for a few years and never had an issue with any of their wines. The owner himself (Fabian)recommended I buy a few bottles he thought I would like which was very nice of him. I took them home and tried them the following weekend. I have been tasting and drinking wine for more than 20 years and I have a Level One Sommelier Certification from the National Wine School. Two of the 5 bottles I tasted were corked or spoiled, didn't taste right. I called the store, and they asked me to bring back the bottles for them to verify that that they were spoiled. Two days later, Fabian called me and told me that he was only going to replace one of the bottles because the other bottle was perfectly good after tasting it. These wines were over $100 and $150 each. I didn't agree with him on his decision. All I wanted was for them to replace the corked wine and I never asked for a refund. I find this to be bad customer service, I feel they took the money and didn't care, and I will never ever buy any more wine from them. read more

I was excited to buy a case of wine from finding wine after visiting a beautiful vineyard in Spain. Unfortunately, the experience of getting the wine has been abysmal--nearly a year later and they've only just shipped my wine. Giselle has been rude and often blatantly untruthful in correspondence regarding this order, claiming that the wine was already delivered when in fact she had not yet shipped it. if you're looking to add to your cellar and speak with helpful and knowledgeable professionals along the way, avoid this place. At the beginning of the year I was looking for older vintages of Casa Lapostolle Clos Apalta to take to my Couples Wine Group (a monthly blind tasting event) and I found several vintages of this wine at this store. While browsing their website I came across other interesting wines at very competitive prices, so I added 2 others to my order. I must say, the website is very user friendly, practical and nice-looking. When I went there a week after to pick up the order I learned more about them, they were in business for just over one year, it all began at a very small office space in the same building/floor and now they were reorganizing the new and much bigger office (Suite 500). A couple of regulars were there tasting wines and I was offered a glass while I was looking around, this was a nice gesture! At that moment I didn't write my review as I normally would have done because I still needed "more data"... So after my third order and after interacting with Alyssa a few times as well as Fabian, one of the owners I now feel more confident in writing a review that really reflects this store's mission and services. Conclusion: They have a large selection of high end wines as well as other good quality mid-range wines, most of them are at very competitive prices, in most cases they are on the top five best prices in the country, while other cases they have either the best price or are out of contention. It's not possible for a store to always have the best price in every single product, so I get this part. My only concern is with them not having a wine cellar, this store should build a walk in cellar where they can place all their fine wines and collectables in particular older vintages. I normally don't buy any old wine unless it has been kept inside a wine cellar for most of its life. For this reason I'm taking one star down, this may not be an issue for most wine-buyers when looking for current and/or young vintages since the store seems to be at below 70° F at all times, but 10+ years old wines this may be detrimental, I will find out for sure when I finally open some of the older wines I have bought... Lastly, this store is doing tasting events from different wineries, they bring a representative or sometimes the winemaker and combine this with gourmet small plates, the cost ranges around $60 to $100 in most cases and sounds like a good idea. I wish I could give this company a minus 1 star. Not only did it take over 2 weeks for my wine to be delivered, the tracking service was practically non-existent, as is their customer service. When it finally arrived, it was just left on my porch, in plain sight on a 90° day, for who knows how long, with no signature or ID, because I was not home at the time. The label says "Contains alcoholic beverages. Adult signature required." The case could have been stolen. When i clicked on the tracking number in my order confirmation, it states "Delivered - signed by c j." NOT the case, I never signed for this delivery. I contacted the company twice already, with no response. I will never do business with this company again. Try Vivino, people. Their delivery is fast, and their customer service is above and beyond. Nice selection and decent / average pricing, but a bit disappointed that 2 fairly expensive bottles were ordered, to be shipped up to NJ, and we specifically sent a very polite and professional message through their site, "requesting" that they select 2 bottles in absolutely pristine condition, with no scuffs / scratches on the labels (which is a fair enough request on $100-$200+ bottles). Meanwhile, no one ever replied to our message, and one of the two bottles in question (2018 Altamura Cab) arrived with a scuffed-up label, and a bit of a scuffed-up capsule. So apparently, whoever owns this operation, doesn't need our business. So be it! Plenty of other online wine shops throughout the country to give our hard-earned dollars to... :( read more

I ordered 4 bottle of wine from their website on April 4th. By April 23rd nothing - crickets. I wrote to them they said that the wine will arrive by mid May. OK. Today May 20th they tell me the wine will arrive July. They charged the full amount April 4 (nearly $600). They sell wine they don't have and don't know when they'll receive and charge you right away. Then it is up to you to chase it. When I wrote to complain I was told to "Relax". Very rude! It is a shame since they have a nice selection of Spanish wine but I will never buy anything from these people. I wanted to attend one of their tastings with 2 of my friends who are wine collectors. Finding.Wine advertised $100 for the tasting or $75 if you were a member of the club. From my understanding the club was a one time fee of $100 + tax and fees so we decided to get the club and buy the tasting tickets at the discounted price. The club allows 30 days to cancel as advertised on their website. So I called and spoke to them and sent a note that I wanted to cancel the club and just pay the full price for the 3 tastings (without the discount). They hanged up on me and followed with an email stating that at this time they are reserving the right to refuse my entrance at any event at finding.wine and that they are a professional establishment that does not barter. Like if I was asking for anything for free or I was some criminal! Also they said that they explained their club membership to me in details (which they did not - even though I purchased it IN PERSON) and that I only wanted the club to get discounts for the tasting tickets (which is correct and I suppose that is part of their marketing strategy so I don't see anything wrong with that). I wish I could give this wine merchant zero stars. I ordered 6 bottles of champagne, which Finding.wine shipped via ground transportation in the middle of an epic eastern US heat wave. It took five days to be delivered. When I opened the case and took the temperature of the bottles, the average was above 83 degrees, and I bet they were hotter in the afternoon periods. The wine is completely spoiled. I called and spoke to the manager at Finding.wine and was read their shipping policy over and over again. I asked her if she understood that shipping wine in such temperatures would absolutely damage the wine, and she said "yes, but since you had not asked us to hold the wine, we shipped it." That is stupid. Who wants spoiled wine? A professional merchant would have phoned first. If the customer absolutely needed the wine, then arrangements for customer pick-up or controlled temperature, over-night delivery should be made at the customer's expense. Otherwise, the merchant holds the wine until conditions improve. This vendor lacks professional practices and a customer-first attitude. DO NOT BUY FROM FINDING.WINE. read more
