I want you to know that I searched high and low for over 2 years for the perfect artist to draw this, and no drawing moved me like Zoe's did! Great experience getting my nostril pierced here last week, I'm glad I went to this location and got matched with Zerah! I'd been planning on getting this piercing for years, so I had a lot of anticipatory anxiety tied up in this one. I'd been bullied in the past for how my nose looked, so I was always hyperaware of how I looked from others' POV. I would try to avoid angling my profile toward people when talking in a group, etc. After many years of building up my own confidence, I finally decided I wanted to draw attention to my nose instead of trying to hide it! So I felt that a nose ring would be perfect. When I finally decided to get it done, I was specifically looking for reviews that mentioned a comfortable and clean place, with kind and professional piercers. Fine Ink Ocoee seems to be a newer location so there hasn't been time for a lot of reviews, but the ones they have already seemed to be above my expectations. I was glad to see the reviews were accurate! As soon as I walked in, the place was quiet and clean, and I was immediately greeted by my piercer, Zerah. They were wonderful with easing my anxiety in such a calm and professional manner. They let me take my time picking out my jewelry, and placement and offered suggestions only when I specifically asked. They explained every step of the piercing, even before they knew I was anxious and were completely fine with my husband sitting in the piercing room with me. Zerah did an amazing job with actual piercing as well, it was almost *literally* painless, and my husband was impressed with how quick and efficient they were. They were so kind about making sure my experience was quick and painless yet fun. My experience was honestly memorable enough that I can see myself getting more piercings here in the future (and I thought this nostril piercing would be my last one). I came across this shop while doing some local shopping. I did some research and decided to give it a try. My first visit was fantastic! I was greeted as soon as I entered the store, and they helped me choose my earring. The piercer made me comfortable, and it was painless. I was in and out within 25 minutes. While I was there, the piercer spoke about the high quality of tattoo artists they had in the shop and to come back next time for a tattoo. Now, I do have 10+ tattoos, by 2 different artists not at this shop/company. I am very selective when it comes to artists, and I typically stick with who I know well. However, due to the high praise they got from their peers I again, did some research and went back for a tattoo. I was greeted, everyone was friendly. A few things from the start made me a little uncomfortable: There was only 2 people that day when I got there. The person at the front desk told me about their minimum for tattoo pricing. They didn't go much into detail about size, color etc. and then walked away. I met with the person who would be doing the tattoo and they stated for what I wanted it wouldn't take that much time. I sat and waited for about 45 minutes, very little communication. I do understand stencils, sizing etc. takes time so I was patient. They get everything together, get the stencil on and then says "Oh, the tattoo is going to be $$" My initial thought is wow, ok a little more than what I had expected for a small tattoo, but with the detail, line work, black color only...fine. It took the artist over 2 hours to do this small tattoo. The time it took for this, another artist in the shop had an entire forearm tattoo outlined, colored. I do understand everyone has a pace, but this was slow. Once they were finished with the tattoo, they wrapped it up, I paid and they said, "Oh we also charge for touchups, these tattoos can fade quickly." What? that's a bit odd. I haven't had anyone ever say that to me. I also didn't think much of it because I have never had to get a touchup. Fast forward to 2 weeks after healing, the ink basically disappeared on some parts of the tattoo. Again, this hasn't happened to any of my tattoos. So, due to the nature of the ink pretty much being nonexistent I contacted the artist, and I was like hey, the ink disappeared, can you please get me an appointment so we can get it fixed? They say yep, here is a day/time we can book it. Right before the appointment I get "Oh and it will be $$ more, and you can put down $$ to hold your spot" What? I'm sorry so you want me to spend more $$ on a tattoo I'm not satisfied with? A tattoo I thought was overpriced to begin with but was hoping the quality would be worth it? And the Ink disappeared? Needless to say, I am very unhappy. This is unprofessional. I am happy to pay for an artist's work. I am not cheap; I understand that's how they make their living. I also understand if I asked for something additional, something to be added or I just wanted something done out of personal preference there would be a charge. But to charge for the original tattoo I paid for not being done correctly? For the Ink to not stay? Thats not a ME issue. Thats clearly something that wasn't done correctly (Pressure, Etc.) in the first place. I will not be going back. I am pretty disappointed that the artist didn't stand by their work. read more

Service was bad. Was misinformed about piercings and they tried to upcharge me for jewelry. Felt very unprofessional and lost 5 bucks to a deposit. Went somewhere else and am super happy with my piercing. wouldn't recommend this as a place to get piercings. read more

I went in with my wife and her friend for them to get piercings. Daryl the owner did their piercings he took his time to talk to each of them and make sure the piercing location and the jewelry they wanted would fit their lifestyles and be able to heal. My wife wanted a rook piercing but after he found out she uses a stethoscope for work he explained that piercing wouldn't heal. We hadn't thought of that and he recommended a different piercing that she liked just as much. The studio was very clean and bright. Daryl took his time and was through with making sure the placement was correct and everything was sanitized. read more

The tattoo shop is exceptionally clean. Oscar was friendly, professional, experienced, and a master tattoo artist. The staff and other tattoo artists are very friendly, considerate, professional. The owner was friendly and and warm. However, the owner, Daryl, booked another appointment in the middle of my session, causing me to sit back in the chair 2 hrs later (7:25) than what it was originally planned for. I was scheduled for a 6 hour session, and I knew about one break because of a prior appointment, but we started at 10:00 and we stopped at 3:30 (5.5 hrs). Oscar seems to be the most experienced artist because there were multiple interruptions during my session by other artists who asked his advice on tattoo work. We would've have finished a lot more had it not been for the interruptions, and at over $160.00 per hr, a little more consideration for client/artist time would have been much appreciated. Oscar agreed to finish what we had agreed upon originally for the estimated 6hr session. I got back in the chair at 7:25 (which was 2hrs later than originally agreed upon because of the second schedule). Unfortunately, as soon as I sit down to finish, Daryl once again tried to schedule another appointment in the middle of my unfinished appointment (for I had only been in chair for 5.5 hrs at this point with a scheduled 6hrs). Oscar said he would not be finished for 2hrs and Daryl's response towards me was, "Give him a discount and tell him to go home." I thought it was extremely unprofessional, especially since his main concern was to squeeze in a quick $300 job at the expense of my already-paid, unfinished session. Oscar was professional and said he needed to finish, but it caused him to rush on shading and the last outline, causing less than par work for part of my tattoo. I got out of chair at 9:30. My times can be verified by cameras. I say all that to say, if you are going in for a quick (1-4hr) session, then they are a great shop (but I'd even be leery of a 4hr session). They have the capability to have longer sessions because they have good artists, but Daryl's main concern of turning over chairs reminds me more of a "tattoo mill" where they are primarily after the weekend tattoos and less experienced people who have gotten tattoos. They are on the more expensive side, which also is a negative due to their main concern of moving people in and out. I appreciate what they do, but I will not be returning there. read more
