So funny story. I found this place 3 weeks ago when my husband and I took our RV to Mohegan Sun for the weekend. My husband decided he wanted to go go-karting with our daughter on Sunday afternoon (on a long weekend) and I decided I wanted to get my nails done. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but I was so impressed by how good my nails turned out that when my husband suggested he wanted to go kart again, I called the nail salon and booked another UV Gel fill. Not disappointed at all. Dustin did my fill again and he crushed it! Probably the best UV fill in all of CT and I've been getting my nails done for years. They were nice enough. I got a dip powder manicure and a gel polish pedicure. The gel polish looked pretty good, but the pedicure itself was terrible. She did it all so fast and barely used the foot filer. My feet felt more rough after the pedicure. The dip powder manicure looked good at first but started to chip on three different nails after three days. Two weeks later, almost every nail is chipped. I spent a lot of money, so it's pretty disappointing to only have a manicure look good for three days and have to file my own feet the day after the pedicure. read more

I was staying at Mohegan Sun where I've had pedicures in the past and I'm glad they had no openings today because I found Find Nail Destination. They did a great job. The Blueberry Pedicure is so relaxing and reasonably priced. They take their time which I loved. Just a note although it's called blueberry I honestly didn't smell anything of that scent and I'm glad because I don't like blueberry scent Come here instead of spending a small fortune at Mohegan Sun spa. Support a local business where they take their time with care. It was very relaxing and I will be back next time I'm in the area. read more

Typically I get a little on edge about getting a manicure or pedicure, but every time I go to this salon a definitely feel heard & the works aren't just after my money. My normal girl is away, so I had to find another nail salon. I'm not particular, just needed a SNS manicure. I walked in and was taken right away. The place is calm, quiet and very relaxing. Dustin is very meticulous and his attentiveness is superb! He has strong hands and I noticed that his nails are very well groomed. I like that. I was switched to another person- I didn't mind as I was thinking she was just as meticulous as he was. She didn't disappoint either. After the manicure, they put your hands in lotion filled gloves wrapped in a hot towel, then you get a nice shoulder and neck massage. Amazing SNS manicure. Husband and I were staying at Mohegan Sun for the weekend and wanted some good old pedicure. We saw the reviews and tried to come here on a Sunday at 3pm. Upon arrival, it seemed like a very low key, small salon with only three workers. There was music softly playing in the background and only 2-3 other customers in there. We got a blueberry spa pedicure which was AMAZING! We got the scrubbing, wax Parrain, 10 minute massage, hot stones, the works! Our feet felt amazing and we did not regret coming here!!!! read more

Dustin has been doing my nails for about 2 years now and I can't imagine going to anyone else. He is diligent and takes his time. He is quiet but appreciates his loyal customers. I love that when I get my fills it still includes a shoulder/neck massage, warm lotion glove treatment, and hot towels to wipe hands after. It's only like a minute long shoulder massage, but Dustin legit has the strongest hands ever so it's amazing. Since the pandemic he typically does not take walk-ins so make an appointment. I've also had pedicures done by some of the other employees and they've been wonderful as well. The salon is very clean, quiet, and is my getaway time during the week to decompress mentally and check out for an hour or two. Fyi- They don't do acrylic(, only gel and powder gel. read more

I had to change my appointment to one day earlier than I had orginally booked it. The orginal time I had booked was for 1pm. When I phoned to change the appointment to a day earlier I specifically asked that the appointment time be changed as well, to 10am. When I showed up at 10am today they had it booked for 10am. I explained all of the above the the gentlemen there (and I use the term very loosely in his case) and he proceeded to argue with me. Would not even consider that they had made a mistake and told me they had no time. I could clearly see the appointment book and there was nothing written down for what looked like hours. I told them this was ridiculous and with that he sharply raised his voice to me. In the meantime other "walk ins" came and were taken. I am 65 years old and was shown absolutey no respect at all for a customer, a woman and a senior citizen. I had the appointment for my daughters wedding. Luckily I was able to walk in at Lily Nails. They took me right away for a full set and a pedicure. That's who will be getting my patronage going forward. read more

The only place I go for my mani, pedis, and waxing! I LOVE them at Fine Nail Destination! They give a wonderful pedicure and make sure that you feel truly pampered. If the phone rings during your appointment they pay no mind to it, truly making you their soul focus. Their manicures are also top notch,the only place I will get one. Regular polished manicured lasts weeks without chipping. It's best to make an appointment rather than just walking in as their are typically only two nail techs. read more

I'm not a local and needed a pedicure during my business trip. Found this place on google. Being from Boston this place was better than my local spot at home. Great scrub, foot massage, heel wax, and back massage! Nails came out great too. If I'm in the area I will be back... And I did come back the next week for a manicure! Again not busy at all for a Wednesday evening. My manicure came out good for the price of $15! Instead of soaking my nails, they used these gloves with moisturizer or something. Only complaint about it is it smelt more like cologne and I wish they exfoliated my hands. But great shoulder massage while my hands conditioned. My technician was super nice and I was out of there in 30 mins. If I lived local this would be my go to spot. read more

They did a great job on my full set of gel nails. My own nails we're very short yet they added extensions so they look amazing. It did take almost 2 hours to do however, so if you are in a rush go somewhere else. But if you want perfection, this is the place! read more

Was coming here for about 4 weeks straight. I came in for my last fill and I asked the gentleman if he knew how to do the holographic nails, he didn't reply to me but asked one of his coworkers what it was. She then showed him the powder which you use to do it. I could clearly tell he has never done it before because he used a Qtip to apply the powder to a wet sticky nail. The fuzz from the Qtip got stuck in the tackiness of the polish and he had to redo them making him frustrated. I was charged $10 extra for something this nail technician clearly did not know how to do. It even made me more uncomfortable when I was the only client in the salon and all the staff was not speaking English and they all started laughing. I will never return to this salon again because they do not treat their revisiting guest very well obviously. I normally don't leave reviews but after coming to this place a few times and getting fantastic service I feel like this place deserves 5 stars. I used to go to Lilly's nails by stop and shop and they completely destroyed my nails/skin around my nails. They were bloody, covered in scabs and my nails were so thin you could practically see through them like paper. I will never ever go back there after coming here. I walked in and they happily sat me down and were super careful with my brittle nails and explained to me what I could do to get them back to a healthy state. The staff (who I think are all family) are super kind, gentle and friendly and like to talk. They make sure from the time you walk in from the time you walk out that you feel comfortable. To me that's worth everything instead of rushing and bloodying up your nails and skin. Do make an appointment since they do take extra time to make sure your nails/treatment is perfect. read more

Nice salon, friendly staff, my pedicure came out nice, and my eye brows came out great. I would of given 5 stars but I was disappointed in the massage. I can pay the same price down the road at sweeties and get paraffin wax hot stone and a longer massage even a neck/shoulder massage while drying. read more
