They get annoyed and frustrated because you explain over and over what you want but when you tell them it is not what you want they get upset and act like you it's your fault. Not great. Not good, not even okay. My friend wanted to get pedi's so she called Coral Nail spa to set up a spot. They said they didn't have time for mani-pedi's so we would do just pedi's. (Which is interesting because it was 99% empty with workers hanging out while we're there) This is my first time doing one but I can't imagine it's supposed to hurt like this. The employees were very rough on our feet. Between pushing cuticles too hard, trimming around the nails and going too far on the trim so that my toe bled, the water was scalding hot (my friend asked 3 times to turn it colder). My employee was much nicer than hers, but her guy felt like he couldn't be bothered to be considerate or friendly. After the pedi's we took a look at our toes and the sides of the toes weren't even painted. There was a good size gap on the big toes missing paint. Her pinky toe looks like just a dab was placed in the center. Yikes. They also didn't check my toes to see if it was dry. When I got home and took off my shoes- my socks took a lot of the polish off- and smudged the rest. Terrible. read more

Brand new to he area and I desperately needed a pedicure and my acrylics removed. I walked right in and they gladly took me. I had the pleasure of being served by Wendy, she was very kind and very respectful. They take appointment and walk-ins it was pretty slow on a Sunday Afternoon. $32 for a basic pedicure which included a 5 minute hot towel and hot rock massage. $10 to remove my acrylic set in my hands and $5 to remove color from my toes. All manicures come with a back massage spanning from a minimum of 2 min and higher. I wasn't too fond of the massage only because it caught me off guard but some seemed to enjoy it. Angie is amazing, and handled this situation well, but I had an apt with her & she was running late so some guy started my nails. He had an attitude when I told him I needed them short. Then proceeded to put the wrong size nails on which caused them to lift. HE THEN FLIPPED MY HAND OVER AND PUT EXTRA GLUE UNDER THE NAIL TO TRY TO MAKE THEM STAY BETTER. Since Tracy's nail and spa shut down, we didn't know where to go. So my husband and I decided to check this place out since it was very close. The store is very clean with a calming ambiance. Must be the music they were playing. They have two TV's inside with subtitles on. They have a lot of seats but only had 4 workers. It was empty inside. Good for us, cause it meant no wait. They were quick to seat us and they got to work on us straight away. I absolutely loved the heat pad that they put on my neck. I didn't know my neck was tense till it was on. The massage chair was good. Working on my back. Then came the prices. It was a bit much for our tastes But we got the combo pack which was $45. It was a classic mani and pedi. I liked how friendly they were. My nail is a bit crooked but it's okay. I'm a little annoyed that a small line down my nail polish costed $5 for 2 nails. But they had complimentary glass of wine and we got a free bottle of lotion afterwards. They did give us a 3 minute neck and shoulder massage. The classic pedi also gave us a 3 minute hot stone massage on your legs. Overall, it's a little over priced for us. But I'm still satisfied with my results. read more

So I was on a little vacation. My girlfriend told me to get my claws(feet with nails poking through the socks) cut before I get back home. Saw the salon flags and the open sign and went on in. COVID precautions- Temperature checked in the door, staff use of masks and gloves, plastic separating the different massage chairs and also the staff working on your feet. Got the $67 plan which included a 15 min foot & leg massage. They did a great job!! When I fall asleep they did a good job making me feel relaxed. The chair worked well too. At the end of the day I left happy & when I made it back home my claws weren't scratching my girlfriends legs. Awesome job! Will comeback again if in the Groton area. read more

I had to leave this nail salon mid pedicure and I've never done anything like that in my life. The technician didn't let my nails soak at all or take off most of the prior polish so she was having a hard time cutting my nails. She seemed to be in a very big rush. I expressed that she was rushing and hurt me twice and then she kept going and cut my toe. I said I'm sorry but Im going to have to go - You're hurting me and now I'm bleeding. She called someone over who asked if there was a problem. I said yes I'm going to leave, she is rushing and cut my toe and she just said ok and walked away back to her client. I would avoid this place and try mermaid or cedar or really anywhere else. read more

I've been to coral multiple times and never had a set this poor quality in the past. I have pretty dry skin so while I have been grazed by particularly hard grain files or something similar, nothing out of the ordinary or enough to make me not go back. However, this past time, not only was the application extremely painful, the nails are/were deeply embedded into my nail bed. Even with the proper chemicals they have been incredible painful and difficult to get off. One of them also SNAPPED OFF while I was opening a cardboard box at work. The woman who did my acrylics is not someone I've worked with before or someone I am ever opening to work with again. She is not new at this job and tried to use the acrylic being difficult to file as an excuse for why it was so rough. Quite literally jerking my nail beds around while filing. Never again. read more

I've been here 3 times and the first 2 were pretty good but the last time ruined it for me. The first two times I got a pedicure and gel nails which were very well done, and the technician was super nice. The third time I went in and asked for acrylic nails, which I hadn't had from there before and was greeted rudely. The guy doing my nails didn't ask me what shape or anything about what I wanted other than the color, which ended up wrong anyways. I had a friend with me so wasn't really paying much attention until he went to file them into shape. I then told him I wanted almond shaped nails and he threw his nail file down and told me they weren't gonna be almond shaped because I, as in I the customer, messed up. He proceeded to give me a clear acrylic base and gel topcoat of the wrong color, I didn't say anything else because of how he reacted the first time but I did not want a gel top coat. He charged me a convenience fee and my nails are not almond shaped or even. All in all if I did go back I would not let him do my nails. read more

This was my first time visiting a salon since COVID. When I walked in I was greeted and got my temp check and sanitize my hands. All employees are wearing mask and gloves. The salon was really clean they had barriers set up with the pedicures as well as plexy glass for when you get your nails done.
