I had a very disappointing experience here. When I arrived, I asked for a simple gel polish on my natural nails. I was first told it would be $35. Then, while they were already working on my nails, they suddenly changed the price to $75 because they said it required "more work." On top of that, they asked if I wanted a massage, but did not mention that it would be an additional $20 charge. In the end, my total was $95 for a result that I was not happy with. I went back to have them fix it, and even after tipping $15, they asked for an additional tip, which felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I don't mind paying for good service, but changing prices in the middle of the service and pushing for extra tips is unacceptable. I left very dissatisfied and would not return. read more

This place is wonderful! Appointments are recommended because it does get busy. We brought my granddaughter and they painted her nails for her Wicked-themed birthday party. They put pretty butterfly stickers on her big toes. So cute! I only wanted a basic pedicure and there was no pressure to upgrade me as I've encountered at other places. Yoyo did a perfect job - cutting my nails as short as I wanted them. The leg massage was so great! All the employees were so friendly and professional. We will definitely return! read more

I GIVE ZERO STARS. I came here for a refill and they charged me $75 we did the refill, one solid color with acrylic gel. I asked for gel pedicure same color. They charged me $35 for that. I gave $20 tip so it was $130. One finger nail lasted ONE DAY. Not even 5 days later 3 MORE NAILS FELL OFF. My toes CHIPPED few days later. These nails didn't last even 5 days. Spending $130 on nails that don't last a week is crazy. I went to nails 4 u salon and they charged me $65 to remove those nails and do a full set. Way more worth the price!!! My pedicure with gel was $10 And then they told me my toe nails were regular polish, NOT GEL. I was so angry. Cedar spa took out of me so much money for nothing. DONT COME HERE. I've been going here for 7yrs and let me tell you after my experience on may 10th i'll never be back to this place! When we first walked in it was going fine but then after about 20 mins of being there my mom had told the nail tech she wanted gel polish and the owner said it would be extra 25$ my mom was in shocked because since we've been coming her its been only extra 10 bucks and then when my mom asked when did the price change another nail tech who was doing my sister nails rudely replied saying "it has never changed you just don't pay attention" after the service which my mom had got a normal mani pedi, My sister got full set and a pedi, and I also got the same as my sister I go to pay and as I was up there the owner was hovering over me and as I put the tip down which not that it matter but i tipped 20% she then goes on to say you need to tip more and when I told her no she then proceeded to have people follow me around the spa and give me dirty looks the entire time I was waiting for my little sister to be done. And to add to this all my mom nail looked like a 4yr old did it and my full set of acrylic nails only lasted me 5 day. 1000% do not recommend coming to this establishment!!! read more

I have high expectations for pedicures. I expect a relaxing, spa atmosphere, sanitary equipment, friendly staff, and great looking resulting toes. I was thrilled to find this and more in an unassuming looking salon in a run-down strip mall, a diamond in the rough if there ever was one. I went with a friend, because nothing beats a girl's day out spa day, and thankfully she was thinking ahead and got us a reservation for our appointment. When we arrived, every single station was full, and on top of that I have never seen that many pedicure chairs in a single spa. Despite the fully occupied salon, we were shown to our chairs promptly, which were thoroughly cleaned and freshly filled with aromatherapy salt soaks. Our pedicurists were detailed and focused, neither scrubbing too hard, prodding too deeply, or filing too haphazardly. Basic pedicure includes a paraffin wax dip, thorough leg and foot massage and exfoliation, colour of choice, and hot towel finish. At that point I thought the experience was finished, as my attendant showed me to the pedicure drying table, where another salon person started giving me a hot stone neck massage, and back and shoulders massage. This was absolutely delightful, and quite a surprise. I would come back just for the massage!!! The pedicure itself was also very good, but the massage was such a treat. Many of the other ladies at the drying table remarked that they were loyal and would only come here. I've been here a handful of times and really have been enjoying it! I used to get gel manicures, but switched to powder, as it's healthier, and have noticed my nails have looked so much better! So I want to like this place, and I've come multiple times. The pedicure is pretty well done. But the powder dip was so poorly executed I have the worst hangnails I've ever had. I had to pull my hands away multiple times because the technician hurt me. Every single nail was red and swollen after because she over cut and used the tools on my cuticles and sides of my nails. I will not be returning because I asked her multiple times to be careful because she was hurting me and the service did not improve. They give you a complimentary hot stone massage while you are waiting for your nails to dry, amazing wax dip during pedicures, and have HGTV playing in the background. The workers do what they can to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. They are nice and attentive, and will tell you to relax if you seem tense or stressed. I enjoyed my pedicure sitting on a comfortable recliner having the manicure done. There was trimming/cutting of nails, an exfoliation scrub, then a lather of lotion, and nice dip of feet into hot wax, then eventually having nails painted, etc. a similar process was done with the manicure but this time they provided a neck and back massage which got a little painful (they really dig into your shoulders and back). I've been going to this place on and off for several years and they're consistently one of the best in the area. However, during very busy days, they now restrict services so they can prioritize moving as many customers through their door as possible, which unfortunately makes for a lesser quality service overall. (For example, if you want the $100 pedicure on the menu, but they'll only allow you to get the $50 pedicure so they can save time.) Last time I was there, I had a mani/pedi with a young man named "Andy". He was meticulous about nail care BUT he's pretty bad at massage, rubbing the same spot on my leg over and over again until it hurts before doing the same to another leg spot. Also, his manicure station was extremely sloppy with splatters all over the place, grit covering the table from previous nail filings, and blobs of paraffin clumped here and there. And he layered 6 layers of gel polish on my fingers and toes. 6 layers???? (1 Base coat, 3 layers of color, 2 layers of top coat = super thick nails!) This is why I am giving a 3 star review instead of 5 stars. Maybe provide more training to ensure a consistent quality of experience for your customers? I certainly plan to return, but I don't want Andy working on me again. read more

First, I work with infectious diseases and am majoring in public health/epidemiology, so I have a keen eye for sanitation in service industries. It's very clean and they do a great job cleaning chairs after they've been used. They are also incredibly nice and welcoming people who focus all their attention to you. I was asked throughout my mani/pedi if I was okay and if I liked how it was turning out. I was also given water throughout even though I hadn't asked for any. Not to mention they do a paraffin wax/massage free of charge. The prices are about on par to other places in the area but definitely more service.
