I've been coming to this place quite a bit recently. Very good selection of beer and wine. Local business, friendly and accommodating owner who's usually willing to sample wines with you if you find something interesting. We had a mini wine tasting with some wines when I was browsing one day. Very nice gesture. The place is very conveniently located for me, which is a huge bonus, but the level of personal service and the availability of some harder to find beer and wine labels make it a local jewel. The owner is quite rude, my wife went here to see if they have any eagle rear or Blantons for me ,the owner was very rude to her and told her he only sells it to the regulars or who spend a lot of money. I Stoped going there because they charge $50 for a bottle of Buffalo trace, which is sold less then a mile down the road at jewel for $26...horible business practice. read more

Ridiculous mark-up, like RIDICULOUS. Paid $18 for a (4) pack of Bell's beer, got home and saw it was canned over 2 YEARS AGO. I think that's this dude's arrangement with distributors. "Gimme the stuff you cant sell anywhere else, I'll mark it up 50% and see who buys it." Dont get me wrong, the proprietor is very nice. That's the only reason I'm doing 2-stars. read more

Came bye during work hours, store front indicates 'open' only to find the lights off and store closed.

Returned a bottle of port today that Was not good. The owner had no reservation about making sure I was happy, which I was glad to see. He was perfectly willing to refund my money, but I walked out with a new bottle that was just fine. While there I saw a letter he had lying on the counter from the local police, accrediting his store for passing a sting operation targeting local stores selling cigarettes to minors. Clearly the owner has his ship in order. read more

The owner is very nice and always willing to help, they have a decent wine selection and a nice little selection of cigars near the checkout for an impulse buy. Prices are a little bit higher than other stores, but the store has a nice atmosphere, parking is easy and it's close to home so Its a no-brainer for me. read more

This is an awesome place. I had a perty recently looking for few drinks such as Martinelli's Apple Cranbery and BLK Black water. Guess what! I could find them here at a very competitive price. Arch, the owner was very helpful and knows well about the products he sell. The owner was couteous and friendly. Had a great experience! Positives: The store boasts an impressive selection of wine, craft and domestic beer, as well as half of the storefront being devoted to wine alone. They certainly have a huge selection which is a plus. Additionally, the owner Arch, is a very polite and intelligible man when it comes to different alcoholic beverages. He will order things for you if you request and is a very reasonable man overall. But now the negatives... First and foremost, the majority of the craft beer section (all the beer on the south wall) that come in 750mL bottles, are damn-near expiration or completely expired. The coolers in the back that hold both domestic "tallboys" as well as a variety of European imports are ALL EXPIRED. I had the displeasure of consuming a wheat ale in 2014 that had expired 3 years prior. I brought the bottle along with the receipt to the owner, Arch Achariya, and he denied me a refund, despite clear proof he was vending an expired product. I understand he is not legally responsible if he sells me an expired product, but that does not make it ethical to have expired (and potential toxic) products on the shelves. My other complaint is price. I am not a wine drinker and Arch may have so fabulous deals on wine, but as far as good import beer. the price is 3-4$ over every other store in the area PER SIX PACK!!!! I have noticed similar 3-6$ discrepancies among the liquor selection as well. Overall: I still shop there infrequently because of the close proximity to my home, but I *ALWAYS* check expiration date. While they have an excellent selection it is not necessarily to be trusted ('cos of the expiration issue), and while the owner is friendly, I'd rather deal with a rude jerk of an owner and spend 5 dollars less on a sixer lol. But still, Arch is a really nice person and I don't want to bad-mouth him, just his business practices. read more

While they don't have a huge beer selection they do get some very premium stuff. Prices might be slightly higher than other places in the area but at least you can actually get limited releases here. Owner is a nice guy that will gladly talk craft beer with you. Uses Beermenus as well. Definitely worth a stop especially if you are looking for something rare. read more
