After a handful of wild goose chases with another "authorized" dealership, we found Finesse on line thru the AQMD's buyback program. Hesitantly, I scheduled a drive up to LA to view a car that was within my friend's budget limits and the AQMD rules. Well, we LOVED our experience with Tal Usman at Finesse A Car. Knowledgeable, with inventory that met our needs (surpassed our expectations), he knows the industry, he is pleasant, accommodating and worked with us as if we were purchasing a high end car. He has exceeded our expectations after the sale as well, working with the AQMD leadership and guiding us to the SCE rebate program, something I was not advised of at any other dealership and which would have saved me personally $4000. The Good: Only dealership that actually provides battery health reports. The Bad: Communication. I had purchased and paid for car remotely and it took them about 2 months to ship it. The delay was no issue, but they never called me a single time, even after their estimated delivery date had passed by a week or more, several times. I was not even informed the car had shipped until I got a call from a delivery person wondering why I was not home ready to receive the car...well it's because nobody even told me it had shipped yet. The Ugly: The car had obvious damage. The roof panel was hammered out, repainted poorly and is covered in dark smudges with severe orange peeling. There is also a shoddy repair with foam body filler. Some amateur must have tried to fix it, instead of filing with their insurance. I expected a few dings and dents (it had those too, of course), but I wasn't expecting Finesse-a-car to hide the condition of the car. This damage affects the value by several thousand dollars, and I'm certain it factored into the price they paid at auction. When I informed them about the damage, they ghosted me. OMG just got my Baby Delivered to me. Catrina at Finesse A Car is the Best. Had an appointment at 10am, Was warmly welcomed. Took my car on a test drive, straight to business and out by 11am. I informed Ms Catrina that I had a Credit Union Pre Approval and she said OK and proceeded. I had went to a few Bigger known franchisee dealers and even knowing I already had a pre approval they kept trying to bully me into giving them my SSN and getting financed through someone else. Asked for an OTD on a car and they hit me with a $1500 add on. I was fine with it since I was doing the $4000 ev credit and when I got the total on the vehicle it jumped up $4000 to the total of the vehicle. They thought I wouldn't notice, what a shady thing to do. read more

I was in a CA program called Replace your Ride. Nilou and Tal provided me with an exceptional customer service. They were very patient with the long process of application approval. Once everything came out good, they replaced the worn out tires with new sets as agreed. Have the car detailed and delivered to my work address free of charge. When I noticed that the mobile charger was missing, Tal ordered me a new one and have it mailed and delivered the next day. He even added a couple of freebies like magnetic phone holder, window shades and usb c charging cables. A very pleasant experience with these guys. BEWARE! As one will soon see, I have no experience with this dealership's cars or salespeople (if they in fact have any). I will address their online customer relations. For your sanity, DO NOT respond to or pay ANY attention to texts from this dealership. Or for that matter, trust that they actually have the cars listed on their website. Before venturing to that dealership I called to confirm that they had the car in which I was interested. Sadly, they indicated that it had been sold. Alas, but I'll move on. However, a very few minutes later I received a text from them stating that "Good news--the (specific car about which I inquired) is still available...Can you swing by today at...". Great! Evidently the salesperson saved my phone number to send me this good news via a text. I responded with a time for an appointment. I received a couple of reminders about the appointment. We arrived, after a long traffic-filled drive to find that the car had indeed been sold and that their AI system was to blame. The AI system that had captured my phone number to send me multiple texts. An AI system with, it seems, no human oversight. An AI system that the management is using to perhaps reduce the people with which they work. Well, they get their wish in the reduction of people--as this human will certainly not interact with them in the future. read more
