I loved working with Desiree of Finest City Florist. She was amazing. She worked with my budget, offered multiple free-estimates, gave a complimentary toss bouquet, and offered a small delivery and setup fee. She even bought a ribbon from Amazon that she didn't have available. She is a saint. If you're looking for quality flowers at an affordable price, you've come to the right place. I highly recommend Desiree. She cares a lot about her customers and I got exactly what I wanted! She was definitely one of my rockstar vendors! Thank you, Desiree! :) read more

Wanted to share a little love for this flower shop. My son wanted to pick out flowers for his teacher (it's her birthday today) so we stopped by real quick to grab a bouquet. We gave her a price range and a few flowers we like. And she quickly threw together one of the prettiest bouquets I've ever seen. It was fall themed with gorgeous flowers and an amazing wrap , it was topped off with a bow and a card. The staff was sweet and kind. The flowers were gorgeous. And we were in and out in just a few minutes. We will for sure be back. read more

If I can shout on the roof top of how great Desiree and her team is I would! Desiree was so kind, so professional and so communicative. I sent her pictures of what I wanted and she blew it out of the water! She really tried to work with me and our budget. She made planning out of state so smooth, I am so grateful to have found her! She did my bouquet, my MOH bouquet, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, flowers for my cake and a last minute garland for my welcome sign. My sister reached out to them for a surprise flower crown on the day of, and it hit me right on the feels. It was beautiful Her team that delivered everything was so nice and sweet that they added such good vibes on my wedding day too. Thanks again Desiree and team! Finest City Florist did an amazing job with our flower arrangement for our wedding at Harbor View Loft. Desiree was such a pleasure to work with, very professional, and responsive. I live in Chicago so she made the process a breeze having to plan from afar. I showed her pictures of visions I had and although I did not see the finish product until the day-of, she definitely nailed the esthetic that I was going for. Comparing the pricing for other florists, I also felt her services were priced reasonably. Overall, loved everything about our flower arrangements and would definitely recommend Finest City Florist for their services. I even referred them to my sister who is now getting married in March 2023 and can't wait to see how it will all turn out. Wedding date: 09/03/2022 Venue: Harbor View Loft read more

I was looking for a trust-worthy florist that could deliver flowers for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday during COVID-19. Because of the pandemic, we were unable to celebrate her 80th birthday with her. Living far way with no connections, I had browsed through Yelp for some reviews in her area. I almost ordered from Costco, but they don't arrange them for you, and who wants to arrange flowers on their special day!! From beginning to end, the ordering, explaining, pictures, communication, delivery, everything was outstanding! My mother-in-law loved her beautiful floral bouquet! I told Desiree, that my MIL fav flower color was yellow, so she incorporated yellow with the arrangement that I had in mind. Turned out more beautiful than I anticipated ! I definitely recommend Finest City Florist !! Desiree, thank you SO MUCH from the very bottom of our hearts !! read more

Finest City Florist is the best florist shop I've ever been into in a long time. My daughter and I were lucky enough to visit the shop and owner during the holiday season and the place looked and smelled beautiful. The owner helped us create a most beautiful Christmas wreath with the freshest best smelling pine. Above and beyond that, the shop displayed the freshest varieties of roses and other flowers and arrangements. Visiting Finest City Florist was the best thing that happened that day and the owner was so nice and helpful. We will definitely make this place our floral needs destination! Thank you!! read more

Desiree was amazing to work with. Wedding flowers are expensive people. Desiree was very affordable and worked closely with me to ensure that we were capturing my vision without breaking the bank. Our wedding was a destination wedding so I wasn't able to meet with Desiree in person but she was sure to communicate everything clearly and carefully and made it simple to plan our flowers from a distance. I changed our order a few times before the wedding and she didn't mind at all. Every time I contacted her she was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. On the day of the wedding, Desiree delivered everything we needed on time and made the setup process easy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Finest City Florist to anyone that needs any amount of flowers for any event. Desiree at Finest City Florist was such a joy to work with! Our wedding was largely affected by Covid which meant we had a lot of unknowns and a lot of last minute changes! Desiree was so accommodating and understanding of every situation. We nearly doubled our flower order 2 weeks before the wedding AND she delivered our order to 2 different locations! I can't say enough good things about Finset City Florist! I will always come back here for all of my floral needs. Plus, it's a huge bonus that I get to support a local small business at the same time! read more

Finest City Florist was one of the preferred vendors for our wedding venue, and for good reason-The florals they did turned out INCREDIBLE. As a bride that knows absolutely nothing about flowers, I just sent some inspiration pictures from Pinterest, the color scheme for our wedding, a vague idea of what I was imagining- and they absolutely killed it!! When I originally reached out I had a very different vision, and slowly through the course of wedding planning, that vision changed, I emailed the team at FCF and they said "No problem!" Also Finest City Florist prices couldn't be beat! Everyone else I tried to get quotes from had super high minimums, I had a smaller budget and just needed the basics: florals for the arch, bouquets and a mixture of tall and short centerpieces. I was absolutely OBSESSED with our tall centerpieces, I loved them so much, my only regret is I didn't get to admire them more in person on our wedding day! We received tons of compliments that the florals and bouquets complemented our wedding aesthetic and venue. I never got the opportunity to meet the team in person, everything was done via email and phone, but if I ever get the chance to see them in person I would want to give FCF the biggest hug. They made the entire process incredibly easy for this stressed out bride. If you need a florist when you know absolutely nothing about flowers, you aren't entirely sure how to articulate the vision you want, but you know you want them to pretty and are on a smaller budget- Finest City Florist are your people! read more

I was having a stinky week and of course, it didn't make my boyfriend happy. So I had to make it up to him somehow. It was my first time ordering flowers for someone. Without looking at the website, I was calling because I wanted spontaneity by blurting out some flowers even though I couldn't depict it in my head. So they made the flowers while I was at work, and I was nervous because I'm not really a flower person. Called my boyfriend to go walk outside with the kids and he says to me "What is this weird thing you're having me do??" A minute later, I get a text from Desiree, our delivery florist, saying that he looked happy! Mission accomplished. It was better than what I expected. They delivered it within an hour of me calling! I was so happy with everything and so is my flower loving man! read more

Desireé was the BEST of the BEST for our wedding at Harbor View Loft on Harbor Island. She was a frabjous florist who guided our choices of colors, what was in season and ways to meet our floral needs. She was very thoughtful to keep our budget in mind. She was contracted several month in advance and we had several changes, updates to our needs. She cheerfully worked with us and produced a gorgeous display of florals for the ceremony aisle, the arch, the centerpieces, cake and the bridal party bouquets and boutonniere. My mom (who lives in another state) recently sent me some flowers to brighten my day after my recent miscarriage (aren't moms the best?!). She ordered online to have it delivered to my house. As happens with online orders (she ordered through FTD), the actual florist may not be able to recreate exactly what the website showed. I absolutely loved my arrangement, even though it was different than what my mom had ordered (I was of course non the wiser). She contacted the shop because she had expected a bit more from the arrangement, and a couple of days later, I had a second beautiful arrangement delivered to my door! Huge thank you for the amazing customer service and beautiful flowers! You all have no idea just how much my week was made receiving these. read more

Desiree was so incredibly kind and her arrangements are gorgeous. From the start she was responsive, professional and her prices were very affordable. All I can say is that Desiree was amazing! We hired her to do the flowers for our wedding in Nov. 2015. I found her on a wedding website and she was very affordable, and considerate of our budget from the start. We ended up deciding to put more budget into flowers because of her recommendations and affordability. The arrangements were beautiful and she was extremely flexible, making different sets of flowers for the corsages, for the groom's and groomsmen boutonnieres, for the bridesmaid's bouquets and for the bride bouquet. There were so many different combos of flowers and ribbon colors, but she kept it all straight and everything was perfect!! Thank you for bearing with the many flower selection questions and changes! She even reached out to me when she knew that the original arrangement vases were not available, and let me know my options (we ended up going with the metallic silver vases which were understated but lovely, and just enhanced the beautiful flowers). She also delivered the flowers and set them up. We had beautiful centerpieces that got compliments from many guests, and a gorgeous flower spray over our gazebo. The spray was rigged up so well, that it took 3 groomsmen to get it down at the end of the night! Desiree is extremely dedicated to the work she does, and ohhhh how it shows! I strongly recommend anyone planning a wedding or getting married - choose her! I talked to many florists and we are so happy we went with her, she's truly the best. read more

Finest City Floral Saved My Wedding!!! Literally! I had a DIY budget wedding. SO I decided to have Costco supply my flowers for decor around the venue, corsages and bout., extra rose petals, and our bouquets. About 2-3 weeks before my wedding I knew I was not going to have time to make bouquets like I thought I was so I started my search. I found Desiree online and knew right away I was going to book her. Everything I seen on her website looked so beautiful and fake! I thought for sure she was going to be out of my budget. I contacted her and was shocked to hear her quote!! She quickly put together my detailed list of things I needed for my wedding day. 2 days before my wedding, the extra flowers I ordered from Costco NEVER SHOWED UP! I had no corsages, rose petals, etc. because of it. If I did not order my bouquets and arch sprays (and a couple other flowers) through Desiree I would have had no flowers at all for my wedding day. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!! I was very pleased with her services and will recommend her to all my friends and family!
