We had lunch at the Gulfport location and it was a great experience. The room was bright and cheerful with the obligatory blue dog portraits on all the walls. Atmosphere was upscale casual. Around the table we ate fried green tomatoes, barbecue nachos, and crab cakes. All excellent!

Cute little bistro serving delicious food. For breakfast, I suggest the French toast sticks and bacon. Another guest chose cinnamon rolls. 3 yummy cinnamon rolls served in an iron skillet. Delicious but really sweet. Service was great too!

Overall 4.75 Stars 4 Stars - Located near Bayou Bernard River in Gulf Port , a casual with a hint of modern elegance, there are multiple inside and outside seating areas. The inside interior can have an echo effect when it gets busy. I suggest the outside seating if weather permits. Fortunately, we arrived at 7:15 am and it wasn't busy yet. By the time we left @ 9 on Sunday, it was full. 5.0 Stars - Staff. The employees were pleasant, casual, easy to talk to, and professional. Our server, Devon 5 Stars, was very accommodating for our large group of 10 (kids and adults). She made suggestions which helped our decisions. 4.5 Stars Breakfast and Coffee Different options coffee: your typical bistro with and a few add-ons; such as Death Wish (strongest coffee served in a French Press). Wonderful. The French Press will serve two-three cups. A very Strong coffee rated w the most caffeine; so be careful cuz you might get the "jitters". Entrees: So much to say on all items ordered so I will highlight w an * * Crab Cake Benedict 5 Stars w side of Conchon Pork Hash 4 Stars. The best compliment to a dish and chef is when you don't need to season the food w salt or pepper. This dish was EXCELLENT! From the bountiful amount of crab, the proper smoothness of the hollandaise sauce, to perfectly poached eggs. Highly recommended! The pork Conchon hash was good and flavorful with a salty flavor from the pork. Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes - 4.75 Large pancakes w fresh blueberry and Ricotta Conchon Pork Benedict - 4 Similar to the Crab cake Benedict but w pork. Flavorful and satisfying. * Banana Oat Pancakes - 5 Stars Wonderful pancakes! Light and fluffy and the taste of oats and bananas had a perfect balance. Side of bacon was crispy, lightly salted and flavorful. Silver Dollar Pancakes - 5 Stars Eggs, Bacon, Biscuits - 4 -Stars * Cinnamon Rolls Skillet - 5 Stars A decadent sweet and savory breakfast served in a cast iron skillet. Highly suggest to order a side of bacon for a salty balance, coffee or milk. * Blue Dog Breakfast - 5 Stars - if you want a FULL meal of eggs, bacon, deep fried cut cubed potatoes and three light and fluffy pancakes, be ready to unbuckle a notch or two in your pants cuz you will have to be "rolled" out in a food coma!

I hate having heard so many great things about a restaurant, because they often don't meet the hype. It was so good. I have heard great things and always wanted to try it. We asked our waitress if she could only have one meal here and never eat here again, what should it be? She recommended chicken with a short stack. Wow. It was so good. Hubby went with the crab cake eggs Benedict, and we did the friend green tomatoes. I also had the best macchiato I've ever had in my life. Also, the location was adorable; perfect brunch spot for a date, meeting with old friends, or just getting the brunch fix.

Seating was slow, we had to wait an hour, but the food, ambiance, an service were 10/10! Our waiter was super tentative and sweet, I had the crab cakes Benedict and it was delicious! Highly recommend coming here! The latte was nice too!

I love Blue Dog Cafe - never had a bad food experience until today. I ordered the Lettuce Leaf Tacos with a side of Heirloom Tomatoes. I read the description of the tacos and considering this is on the "good dog" side of the menu, I thought the aioli would be a light drizzle or put on the side. For the tomatoes, I expected two slices of heirloom tomatoes with herbs on top. I was way off, and lesson learned - I will ask questions before ordering new to me meals. I would have never imagined to have a plate of 90% aioli tacos and slushy grape tomatoes put in front of me. The tacos had so much aioli on them, I could not even pick up the tacos without the contents sliding out and aioli all over me. I tried to get the aioli off with napkins but it had soaked into the slaw, so I ended up fishing the meager amount of shrimp out with my fork. The tomatoes were the icing on the cake - they had the consistency of stewed grape tomatoes, which could have worked if there had been a crunchy ingredient, like cucumber, added in. I was thoroughly disappointed with my meal and left still hungry, but the pressed coffee was amazing and our server was so attentive and on top of everything.

    Crab Cakes Benedict.

The food and the service were absolutely perfect. I believe my server's name was Jason. I had the crab cakes Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached. I ordered a Red Eye coffee. Perfect, strong, cup of coffee. If I lived in the area I would be a regular.

A cool little bistro tucked away from all the craziness. The biscuits and gravy are very different but in a good way. The server was very attentive and very nice.

We sat at bar. Deven was our bartender. We never waited for anything. She was very helpful and attentive. Food was phenomenal best shrimp and grits we have had in a longtime. Salmon blt was delicious and sweet potato chips were perfect with a bit of brown sugar on top. Cocktails were amazing. Clean and lighting good. We would return.

    Smoked salmon lox bagel

My review is for my first experience with them and it was through DoorDash. I was craving a smoked salmon bagel and they popped up. I'm from Vegas so I'm familiar with the pricing for these things, plus a bit extra being through DoorDash. Upon arrival and opening reveal of the Togo box.. to my surprise was such a beauty for takeout. On top it was delicious! I plan to check out the place in person one day because I feel like I won't be disappointed! Thank you for delivering quality food and plating!

It was originally named Marina Cantina but is under new ownership. Parking is a bit sparse here, and you used to be able to park under the bridge but that was blocked off last time I went. You may have to park in the overflow gravel lot just west of the building, which also serves as parking for the excellent Blue Dog Bistro next door. We started with the Tres Amigos appetizer, which included a pile of fresh chips combined with salsa, cheese sauce, and black bean sauce. It was great and really meant for more than two people. They don't skimp on this one. I've been here several times and always get the Shrimp A Go Go poboy, which is pictured here. Although I feel like it could have used a few more shrimp for the price point, it was really good and comes with this creamy sort of salsa that pairs well with the fried shrimp. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich, and honestly it was bigger and looked better than my poboy. I am definitely trying that next time. I hope this place is doing well because it never seems very busy when we go. It's like something is missing on the inside to liven it up. Our tables were covered in epoxy that was cracked and we saw buckling on the wood floors, most likely from humidity. Service has always been pretty quick and I have never had any complaints. I know the City caused a lot of drama for the previous owners, which is unfortunate. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a few drinks and great food.

Had a beachy vibe. Had to have some Duck and andouille gumbo. So good ! Get a bowl. It was pretty darn tasty. We also had some Epic deviled eggs. These were just ok. Nothing really 'epic' about them but good. Finally we had some Flamingo chicken bombs. Deep fried tenders and jalapeños. Pretty tasty and hot! Bailey our server was awesome and offered great suggestions. I bet this place is rocking during the summer with boats coming in and live music outside. Would love to come back for that.

Is it even a proper vacation in Biloxi if you don't give this place a visit for breakfast? The answer is NO !! When your motto is It's never too early to get toasted!! You are talking my language and that's how you start a proper vacation day:) We left Alabama in the wee hours of the morning to get here before they opened. We ordered at 7:04 am . A grapefruit mimosa for me and two Irish coffees for my husband and son. My son pretty much gets the same thing everytime an Arnold . This time it was a West coast Arnold w/ hash brown casserole . He ate it up!! I got the Dragon fruit pancakes 2 pc . Man one pancake was plenty and yes they are as big as the plate. Hubbie got the pork chop breakfast . On the 16th (our leave day) I got the (2)Strawberry Hibiscus Spritz and my son got a Cappuccino cooler. Hubs had to drive back home so he just got a coffee. Hubbie got the chicken and waffles , I got the yolk lovers breakfast with cheese grits ( When you are in the South Grits must be eaten at least one meal of the day) and my son got his Southwest Arnold again lol! My son looked at his mug and said I want one . Yes they sell them for 31.99 eek a bit high for my blood but He bought it himself. He has been using it everyday since We got back home. He said He will probably buy another in July. It's a solid breakfast place and enjoyable if you get here before the crowds. Now let me explain who this hotel is perfect for. If you like animals especially peacocks...this place is perfect for you. If you like dead fly's in your tea....this place is perfect for you. (They have tea and cookies at 4 o' clock everyday. We were super excited except when we got there the cookies and tea had just been sitting out. I was so excited for the juice that I failed to look at it before drank it. Then i realized there were dead flies in both punch bowls. I took pictures but i'd rather not creep you out. I'll just leave that to your imagination. If your between the ages of 40-100 this place is perfect for you. You can definitely appreciate the quietness, the quilt on your bed, and the whole ambiance of the hotel. The hotel room is just bland. In the guest book it says that the hotel has been recently remodeled to look like a home from back in the day. I ask the lady how long is recenlty and she said 10yrs ago!!! Our shower door was broken. There was a wooden table and chairs. Its just not what you expect when you come to a hotel. I expect luxury and what I got was a room from 1890. Sunday Brunch is actually what Plantation is known for. That was probably the best part of our whole stay at the hotel. It was a breakfast buffet which included eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage.
