The people here were very nice and understanding. I called them first and spoke with a lady named Lindsey to see if they had experience working with worn fingerprints like mine. I told her that I also have never had my fingerprints approved before because of a medical condition, and she reassured me that they would do everything they could to get them approved. She also told me of their policy on getting another set of prints done for free if your initial ones are rejected. Lindsey was also the one who took my fingerprints, and they turned out and great! I am hoping that they approved. Either way, I was impressed by this place and will be coming back for any future fingerprinting needs. Note: They don't book same-day appointments, so I came in the same day I initially called (without an appointment) to wait to be seen. The whole thing didn't take more than 30 minutes, which was another perk! I would say that getting there earlier is better if you don't have an appointment as it got busier later in the afternoon. read more

I work in the gaming industry and every state / and Indian casino requires fingerprints, so I have gone here 20+ times. The staff knows me by name and every time I walk in, they are pleasant, happy to see me and treat me better than they did the last time I was there. I just wish they hadn't given up the TSA pre-check application process before I got my Pre-check. Great bunch of folks! Not a bad place to get fingerprints done for ID's and background checks. Centrally located office with a large staff to keep the waits to a minimum. The prices are competitive, so they are not gouging you. I'd like to find out what the clients at the other end think of having to deal with this vendor (i.e. the agencies that are using their fingerprints...is it quality work?). One comment to management - if you have a service that requires a person to wait in the waiting room up to a 30 minutes, why are their no bathrooms? read more

Tedious. Waited an hour while girls dithered around in lab coats. Did a poor job of getting my prints so that three of five on each hand didnt appear clearly enough--im a chef. She told me that if they were rejected, i could come back at no cost. Of course they were rejected!!! I wasted an hour and now have to go back??!!!! My companies have been using this business for several years. They have processed well over 100 people for us in the last 24 months all without a hitch. I personally have been in several times and have witnessed first hand the patience and professionalism that they afford all of their customers. Tonight was no exception. Kayla and Nancy stayed late to help me and another woman who had just moved to the area. Instead of being upset that they were staying late they kept apologizing for how long it was taking them to complete our transactions. I just dealt with a really nasty woman at the front desk. You know the kind that do that whiny sugar coated "I-want-to-rip-your-thoat-out-because-I-am-miserable but I have to pretend be nice to you so I will put this fake voice laced in attitude on" type? Yeah. That kind. The guy behind her even looked surprised by her attitude. He looked like a nice guy. So hopefully if you go here someone will either have given that woman the hug that she clearly needs, or you get the other guy. And if not, please give her a hug and some love. I came to get my fingerprints to renew my teaching license. It was during Teacher Appreciation week, so they said it was free for teachers this week. How cool! Sadly, I didn't have my WCSD ID with me. I leave it at school, since we are required to wear it each day. They looked me up on the Nevada Department of Education and I also showed them my insurance card with the WCSD logo, but I guess that wasn't enough. Well for one I think I'll look for another option or free shred event. I don't have a review for their other services . I can only speak for the shredding service. Upon entry, I took a seat not knowing their formalities. I waited until the prior customer was done and I approached the counter. I'm not sure if I wouldve been spoken to otherwise. I proceed to inform the employee that I just wanted to shred paper. I gave him my bag of paper to be weighed, to my surprise it weighed 10lbs. I again am surprised I paid $25 to shred paper, but okay. I think what really got me was, after paying he just took the bag and placed it under the counter. First off I thought it would be a self service option , but it's not. So, how long it sat there I don't know, but I'm trusting that it was disposed of sooner than later. I just think as a suggestion if I'm not doing it myself , can you give me the comfort of seeing you shred it then and there. Needless to say that service I'll pass on and I'll just use my shredder at home. It maybe time consuming but I'll do that or take advantage of a free shred events. read more

This place lacks personality, for one. Guess they don't really need one. I went in to get my fingerprinting done last week, but had a medical emergency and had to go with my partner to the hospital due to epileptic seizure. I continued my process the following day thinking everything was still good to go. I emailed the right people, followed up and thought I was on track. Because of the medical emergency I lost the job opportunity, but had already paid the $150 to fingerprinting express to which they and the hiring company, both said the other was on the line for (as in responsible) that claim. Seeing as I wont get my money back, I just wanted to leave a lovely review for them. Their staff was very cold to me, no one else. Just me, both times I came in. I was pleasant both times and kept my mouth shut bc I just wanted to get to work and take care of the fam. I noticed they treated other customers with a little more joy, excitement and motivation. When I called, they were very nice, but still inevitably unhelpful. Hope they treat other poc customers better than I was treated. I feel like I was robbed and then smiled at. So disrespectful. read more

Since March of 2016 I have been in the consulting business for marijuana facilities across the nation. Each state requires fingerprints when working with customers in this line of work (for very good reasons I may add). I have had about 15 sets of fingerprints at the Reno fingerprint express location and absolutely love Kayla (an employee). Always sweet, kind and cheerful. Never having to be fingerprinted before, I had no expectation nor anticipation of how this process would go. I arrived an hour early for my appointment, and was able to be accommodated quickly. I needed passport photos and was happy to find a place right next to Costco. I arrived with no appointment at 11:40 and was done in 10 minutes. Be sure to let them know you have an appointment or you will wait as if you are a walk-in. They misheard me when I said I had an appointment and after 30 minutes, I asked what the deal was. The receptionist apologized profusely and got me taken care of right away. They are extremely professional and efficient. We needed about 10 pages Notarized for our Trust and Wills - The service and knowledge for those documents was impressive. We didn't have an appointment and were about 5th in line - but they are so efficient, that the wait was minimal and we were done in no time. Absolutely never go here. The boy (I have no other word to describe him as) that works at the front counter and checks people in was the absolute rudest individual I have EVER come across in customer service sector. I will never ever go back here and I recommend everyone else to go get their fingerprints done elsewhere. He was condescending and had an incredibly rude attitude. People coming here obviously have questions about how the process works or in general and he obviously has the answers so I'm not sure why he had to be so rude while giving them. I regret paying them $70 for my fingerprints. ( sorry update: I wrote this review as I paid and was sitting for my services. Then I found out they weren't even capable of doing the services that the Nevada department of safety said that they could do so I received a refund and never used their services and went to a more competent and knowledgeable service in town) The review supports the same principle: I will never support this business or another like it that employs such assholes. read more

I specifically made a trip out to Nevada from California to get my fingerprints done for a new job that I will be starting in Nevada. My background check ended up being rejected because Fingerprinting Express took my prints incorrectly. They copied two of my fingers and deleted a whole finger. The only way Fingerprinting Express can correct the situation is if I go back to Reno. They will not offer a refund even though they clearly did not provide the service I paid for. Now I need to make another trip to Nevada (prior to moving there for my job) so that I can get my fingerprints done again. Very frustrating!! read more
