The only lady working here wearing glasses and the resting mean lady face at 5pm on Saturday just looked at me while I waited to drop off my package. Had I been familiar with this location I wouldve known they had a self check out but she didnt care to tell me and I only found out after she just let me wait for 5 minutes while she helped someone else who was walking over to the counter from the printer. She could had simply said if you have a label you can drop it off there, but she didnt care. Poor customer service and useless. Robots will take over her job in the near future. read more

I had some car parts that needed to be shipped to the warehouse up in Stead, so just across town. I guessed on the weight and did a quick calculation of cost before I left. I was only 2 lbs off, it was 15 instead of 13 but what got me was the price had doubled!! I questioned the significant increase in price and got no explanation. I paid and left. Once I got home, I went over the receipt just to find out the clerk put in 14" in the dimensions instead of 4"!! So, I got grossly overcharged for a clerical error, grrr! The last 2 times I went into the store to Scan and Drop off. The scanner wasnt working so I went to the desk so an asscociate could do it for me. The short older lady with the long dark hair is so rude. She's having a conversation with another associate. I walk up to the desk then they walk away from that side of the desk so I walked to the other side of the desk and they walk away from that side of the desk. Finally, the younger one looks at me she says, she'll scan that for you pointing to the lady with the long dark hair.. That lady has been in there the last two days times I was there - doesn't say Hello, walks around with this arrogant b___hy look, doesn't acknowledge your existence, just plain hateful. I ordered some prints for a friend's wedding but they were cut off. I was disappointed since they should not look great for the event and there was not time to reprint. Luckily, FedEx made it right, they refunded me for them which made the experience better and showed great customer service. read more

Had to drop off a return for a pair of shoes I bought online. This is the closest location from my house, but I can usually also run errands in the area. The parking lot is really congested and tight. When I walked in there were four in front of me and everyone was Covid adherent. We all stood on our spots until the next person was called. Clerk was fast and didn't give any attitude when I asked for a receipt! That's nice! Glad we have a store! read more

These people are so nice to me every time I come in. They help me pack the oddball things. They have pretty good ideas on how to get things out the door. Sometimes the wait is long but it's worth it to just wait. I've mispacked things and they fixed it. Compared to the droning line at the post office, I feel a lot more welcome here. read more

And now, it's my favorite location because of the self service machine where you can scan your package and get a receipt without having to stand in line (unless there's a line to use the machine - never happened to me). This is one of if not the worst FedEx in town. I have gone in multiple times to ship stuff and send back returns and have been treated like I am the problem. None of the shipping supplies are stocked, when I ask for a box to put my package in, I was told I can buy a box somewhere else and one back and ship it. If you have to ship anything go anywhere else, if it has to be FedEx, good luck. read more

Why can't FedEx improve the service model in these stores? Starbucks can take orders and have then waiting for customers to grab and go. Jimmy John's does the same. Local restaurants have similar systems in place, as do many local service based businesses as well. Yet FedEx, with all its efficiency and automation, cannot figure out how to do this for their customers, and this location in particular can't seem to even efficiently service a small number of customers quickly waiting patiently in a queue. I've been using the online ordering system for small cover stock signs. While it's easy to upload, order, and pay, it's beyond frustrating to pick up! The store manages to get everything done at or before the promised time, yet when you get there you'll be asked to wait almost 15 minutes just to get your finished pieces. To rub salt in the wound, on multiple occasions I've observed several employees who are seemingly wandering around in the back while a longer queue is forming, making no attempt to provide service to those who could be helped quickly. Something has to give here. Fix this please. Today I actually asked the people behind me if they come to the store often and experience this and it was a unanimous yes. The only upside is that my prints look great, so I keep sending them! read more

For the love, please hire more people! This is a great store and the manager is very nice. However, this place always has a line of at least 6-7 people. It can take over 30 minutes to ship a dang package. The workers are very knowledgeable and kind but the place is ALWAYS SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED. if you need actual service (not printing) and don't have all day long I recommend you go to another location. FedEx shipping is definitely more expensive but for the most part they are on time. @FedEx we need another fedex location out south read more

I've had to return some satellite equipment recently. My satellite provider didn't give me all the info I needed for the FedEx clerk to access the records. On both occasions they clerks were able to work around it and get the shipment out. They were efficient and friendly and I much prefer coming here than going anywhere else. read more

Easy to drop off packages that are prepaid and labeled. The table is just inside the front door. Good for convenience but I do worry about someone slipping out the door with a package that does not belong to them as no one is really paying attention when it is busy. There was a huge pile of packages on that table when I dropped mine off. But glad I did not have to wait in line because it was a line of ten. They need more help but that is common right now. I guess 2:30 on a Monday is not the best time to go. One reason for the four stars is that their price was $2.00+ better than USPS on a small package that weighted 1lb 8 oz. I will be using them more now that USPS raised their shipping rates. The parking is always a challenge but I was in and out quick, more than I can say for the Post Office. read more

Just what the proverbial doctor ordered. You want a big printing job done, you just come here. At about $2.00 per square foot, you can get a great copy. It took about 10 minutes per copy, I made two. Forget the other big box retailer, not only can they NOT do the job but also unclear as to where you need to go. I got a large, in color, land use plans done and scanned to a USB. Still awful. They have remodeled but the new areas weren't something I needed to interact with on this visit. I went straight to the resister with my ID and ready for my package pickup. I provided my ID, confirmed the address and the clerk left to get the package. She came back out and said she couldn't find it. She asked if I was sure this was the right address as there are two locations on S. Virginia. I assured her it was and pulled up the tracking info stating the address and that it was being held for me. She went back in and couldn't find it. I described the estimated size and shape. She got another employee who apparently can search for things a tad better than her and they both returned with it. After that it was a quick signature and I was on my way. She said she was filling in at this location from another store, I believe she's a manager at her location and you can tell why. Not only did she greet me right away, she continued greeting other guests as they came in. I needed to cancel an online print order and redo. My online order wasn't ready but instead of asking what I wanted to change another employee told me it wasn't ready because the order was only placed an hour ago. Instead of being negative Nancy jumped in to help find a solution and make sure I had exactly what I wanted. read more

This is a tardy review, but is still probably accurate. Last November, I was in Reno working on a presidential campaign. I had a bunch iof stuff I needed to print, and so I uploaded the pdf files to FedEx Kinko's at the time (Now it's called FedEx Office...wooo!!!!) and was told it would take over 15 hours to print! I only needed about 200 pages printed!!! So then I took the file down there on my flash drive. I had to rent a computer, which was a piece of crap, and then their software....Adobe Reader, for crying out loud...was not installed properly so I had to fix it for them. And they charged me for it because I was using time on their clock! Anyway, it was a ridiculous experience. Other customers there were complaining also, and the employees were as dumb and as unconcerned as they could be. I wish I could give it a negative star rating! A Black Hole rating!! What reminded me to rate this crappy place was reading another person's review of FedEx Office on the Daily Beast. Apparently, the stores in New Jersey are as bad as the stores in Nevada! read more

On December 21st I had to ship a light box containing a scarf from Reno, Nv to Texas. I needed it sent overnight. The box was 6x6" and like I said before, very light. I was waiting in line, there was one person in front of me. There was a man behind me with three large, heavy packages. Another girl asked me if I was just dropping off and I said no, that I needed to pay for shipping. She gave me a slip to fill out. As I was filling it out I messed up and had to start over. Because of this they let the man with three large packages go ahead of me. It took me about 5 seconds to finish filling out the form, then I was forced to wait. Unfortunately I could not wait, I had a prior engagement. I was very angry that they let this man go ahead of me instead of asking me if I would be finished soon. I flagged down the other employee and she told me I could leave my credit card information and they'd charge me and send it. In my anger, I filled the paper out and left. Yesterday, January 4th, I received a bill in the mail for $50.15 from Fed Ex asking me to pay for shipping that item because they didn't have my credit card number. Which, is wrong but I'm glad they didn't charge me that amount! I am disgusted at the customer service at this store. Yes, I could have asked what the price would be, but their general bad attitudes and the fact that they paid almost no attention to me, then let someone else go ahead of me made me so mad I forgot to ask. I think it's ridiculous that they'd let someone leave without telling them their shipping purchase will be $50! I did call Fed Ex and both of the people I spoke to on the phone were super nice and helpful. I ended up only paying $23 because of my poor customer service experience. I will definitely never ship anything through fed ex ever again. read more

Haven't used their shipping or packing services, this is solely for the fun time I had getting a passport photo on Saturday. We got off to a bad start before we even arrived. My wife calls down to verify that this place does, in fact, take passport photos before we head down since its on the other side of town. My wife is an Aussie and she unsurprisingly has an accent, which might explain the following conversation, were it not for a key point in her first statement (pay attention--there will be a quiz later). The following conversation ensues: (My wife) My husband needs to renew his US passport, do you take passport photos? (Employee - in angry tone) Yes, but only for American passports. (My wife) Ok we will be right down. (Employee - still pissy) Fine, but just for American passports. Sheesh. You'd think the fact that my wife asked about a US passport would be a clue, but apparently the accent was too much for this genius to process. Needing the photos, and undaunted, we ventured down to South Reno. We walk in and there is one customer there and a handful of bored looking employees. An employee (clearly the one from the phone) comes up to help. I tell her I am here to get a passport photo. She runs through the "we only do US passport photos" schpeel again and I rush her along as that's what I need. She fumbles with the camera, take a photo and then says it will be 2-3 minutes and proceeds to head back behind the counter. Seemingly bored with me she sends some other poor schmuck out to retrieve the photos. He picks up the camera and sighs. The "American passport" woman has taken a giant photo of me, not the two head shots I need for the passport, so we must repeat the process. He gets ready to take another picture and the camera fails. Tries again. Fails. Finally on the third try it works. Three minutes later, I am handed my mugshot--worse than any driver's license photo I've had. Ever. I briefly think of making him retake it, but can't be bothered. I'll spend the next DECADE staring at this sucker. Having to go through the mess again is that bad. But wait, we aren't done. They then ring me up (American passport woman returns to do the honors) and it costs--wait for it--$13.95. Yes a full $14 for two tiny head shots. What a rip off. If you need a passport photo, do yourself a favor and go somewhere--anywhere--but here. Ugh. read more

I've used their copying services many times. Although a bit pricey, they can't be beat for convenience. I love being able to e-mail them jobs and then pick them up within a few hours or the next day. The last time I was in the store to pick up my order 2 different staff members asked if I needed anything. This was a pleasant surprise from being ignored in so many stores. read more

I went in today to have my 24"x36" poster laminated. When I came back 45 minutes later, they had run it thru their machine, but had completely ruined the poster with creases in the plastic material, which also creased the poster, making it illegible. They said they wouldn't charge me for it, but as the poster was wrecked I told them they could keep it. Will not be returning there for any business and wished I would have looked up the reviews here first! read more

Be wary when you send packages through fed ex. They will over charge you and not have your product there when agreed upon. I had to call their customer service and talked to two employees and one supervisor and then was given a number to another place for a refund.. Fex Ex needs to figure out how to fine tune their business. read more

I quickly jumped online to see what the options were since our printer is out of ink and was pleasantly surprised to see that this fedex location offered printing. I called the store to make sure the 10PM time wasn't a typo and to see what the best way to send the resume over was. Bee helped me on the phone and again when we arrived to store.
