Wow this place has really let me down in a big way! I used to sing their praises to my husband and neighbors about what a great place this was to take care of all your mailing and shipping needs. They have a nice area for small gifts and greeting cards too. They also supply all things needed for shipping like boxes, tape, bubble wrap and tissue. Boy I'm extremely angry! They are liars!! I am selling a bunch of my personal things on a site called Poshmark. Since I'm new to doing this (I only have 6 sales) thus far, I always sent the purchase/ package the next day at the very latest sometimes I'm able to send it the same day if the buy it early in the day. My rule of thumb is by 4 pm. I will get it over to this place. NEVER AGAIN will I use this place. The beginning of October we had just arrived home from our trip to Japan and the first thing on my list was to list the majority of my costume collection on 3 different platforms but Poshmark being my favorite since they service 80 million customers. I'm kinda sick of EBay because they started charging fees upfront not after your Item sells like they did back in the beginning. Anyway I got about 10 different costumes listed the first week of October. I sold a great costume on the evening of 10/9. Poshmark likes you to package up your sale with ribbon, tissue and a thank you card. I don't mind this because I love, love to wrap gifts. I took it over to this place in the morning on 10/10. There are a couple of reasons why I'm so sure I sent it mainly because I kept the tracking receipt and it was my Joe's birthday so I had lots of errands to run because he wanted me to cook instead of going out. I send things a lot to Los Angeles because my daughter lives there so I know it usually only takes 2 maybe 3 days at the most to arrive. When I went to check to see that the costume had been delivered I was SHOCKED to see that it was still sitting there not mailed yet....WHAT!?? They also lied and said I brought it in on the 13th and it's still there !!! I'm too angry and upset to call so I decided to go to my trusty Yelp and update my previous glowing review!! I had to message the buyer and open up a case against USPS on Poshmark because they ONLY use USPS because the obviously have a deal with them. Thank goodness I kept the tracking receipt. I will never throw one away again until the shipping is completed! I haven't been that careful about keeping them in the past. I'm so glad that I kept this one now I have proof of the LIE. One more negative thing about this place, when I went to buy a roll of stamps they charge a $4:00 surcharge. From now on I'll Only be going to the Plumb location USPS and the UPS on Plumb. Shame on them! I cannot tolerate liars in any form especially a business! Update: My package is STILL at this place 6 days later!! I'm so beyond angry, I decided to offer the buyer a full refund for the costume but he did not accept it saying that it wasn't my fault, it was this place as I will never say the name of this place again. Update: My package finally got to the recipient 7 days after the day I mailed it! Thank goodness because my buyer has a costume party on Friday. I also received some lame email from them today trying to make lame excuses...so basically the tracking receipt is B.S. and they aren't liars. My experience speaks for itself as do my receipts! I was staying with my daughter and she needed an Amazon item sent back for a refund. She recommended this place and it's close to the house, so I took a walk over there. As i entered, I noticed about three people in line with two at separate counters. The line moved quickly. One said "Thank you for waiting we'll be right with you." Right then I was greeted on my side of the counter by a very friendly person named Bre. I was a little confused about what I needed to do to complete this. She explained that I needed an envelope to put the box in and proceeded to get one, and put the box in, the label on and take care of the package. She then rung up my other items and we were done. In the meantime she explained why I needed the envelope - as I was confused. It's a great little store, they have all your shipping needs, some office supplies, packing stuff, and they even have a Notary. I selected a couple of greeting cards, which you can drop them there in the outgoing mail to be picked up by the USPS! They also have In addition to USPS, they have Fed Ex, UPS, DHL. They also do faxes, copies, have rental mail boxes AND Sell postage Stamps. They had prompt friendly service and have everything you could want in this type of store AND the prices are VERY Reasonable. Anytime I'm in Reno, this is my new Go-To store. read more

You can drop off your packages, get help boxing up stuff, and all with the most pleasant staff you could ask for. I've been coming here since I first moved to Reno back in 2014 and have never had a problem with anything I've shipped from here. I swear I did the review earlier this year. Located near my home and work this place is way more accessible than a regular post office. They offer P O Boxes for rent, stamps, UPS pick up and faxing. I will say there was a bit of up charge on the stamps that bothered me, but I was in a hurry and didn't want to drive out of my way to save $3-5. It's a clean store and staff has always been nice when I'm there. No issues when Sheela comes in with me. read more

Such a convenient stop! They are a smaller shop next to 7/11 on Moana and lakeside but offer a lot. The staff is always helpful in making sure your packages are sent correctly. We recently had a shipment of some very fragile and irreplaceable items and they were great with making sure they were packages appropriately in order to refrain from any damage. They have quite a selection of little items that are fun to send with your package and plenty of options for packing. They also carry a great variety of forever stamps with designs. My favorite is the current first responder option! I always feel comfortable asking questions and trust their opinion! This place is just awesome for mailing things, regardless of the time of year. It's a small store that does UPS, USPS, and FedEx, plus they have PO boxes for sale. They can help you package the items you're bringing in, and they have a huge variety of sizes and packing material. Generally they don't charge you for the bubble wrap or noodles, unless you need a ton of it. Every time I go in there, the folks are pleasant, extraordinarily helpful, and appropriately packed and secure. Their system saves your information in case you're sending to the same people regularly. It gets a little more crazy during Christmas time, obviously, but they're still way more helpful and speedy than the post office. Avoid if at all possible. The Owner or Manager is very rude and disrespectful & at times even hostile. High priced and uncomfortable experience everytime. With times as they are they are not patient, and not considerate, even though they are not at all very busy. What it is: Shipping via all carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL), packaging, mail box rental, shredding, notary, office supplies, greeting cards/last minute gifts. Shipping tip: Different benefits with the different carriers. Example 1: A 2 lb USPS priority mail package gets to the east coast in 3 days vs UPS/Fedex ground is 5-6 days and they cost roughly the same (though the tracking and claims process is far better with the latter). Example 2: DHL/Ups/Fedex have far more reliable international networks than postal service, which saves headaches. Point being, it's fantastic to have all options at your disposal here along with people in the know (isn't that always nice). Plus have you waited in line at the Reno main Post office lately? (Don't - just go here!) Customer service shout out: Myself or my staff go here almost every day to drop off pre-labeled packages. (Note: they make money when you buy stuff, not just drop off packages.... ) They are always super friendly and helpful but yesterday was the topper. We missed our daily UPS pickup and had (8) 80 lb, 20 cube parcels, high value that HAD to go out that day. In the past, no UPS store wants to deal with that (space/storage, liability). Not only did they not mind, they helped us carry them all in. We were so impressed! Guess where we're going for all our notary, office and other shipping needs? I won't go into how annoying iPostal is here, BUT I can say that both Jackie and Nick at OfficeBoss were the nicest people I've ever dealt with. On two separate occasions, they went above and beyond to assist with my needs/issues with iPostal and really took care of me. Its unfortunate for them that they have to deal with the backlash of iPostal, but they both handled everything with poise and professionalism. Too bad I made the mistake of going here because I happened to be at 711 next door. I always go to Caughlin Pak and Ship. But I had the item with me to return. I walk in this messy store and the bearded dude and blonde girl were so close together they might as well have been dry humping. Biggest bait-and-switch around. It used to be a regular post office. There is a "Postal Service" sign in their front window. I was told the stamps were the same price as the post office. After buying $108 worth of stamps, I left and now just realized they were not the same as the post office and got ripped off for extra $10. Why is the "Postal Service" sign in the window, you know the one with the blue eagle that is the trademark of the US Postal Service? And why did they tell me the stamps for a premium after they told me it would be the same price. read more

I had noticed the time before this visit that the rates seemed unusually high, but let it go. This time I did some research and discovered they add a HUGE amount to postal shipping. I just brought in my stuff and they found the size of box I needed, wrapped my fragile things with bubble wrap, and filled the box with packing peanuts so I knew everything would be safe then sealed it up, I literarily didn't have to do a thing. Apparently it used to be a USPS contract station, but is now independent -- and I'm so glad because I was able to send one gift USPS and one big box via FedEx. The staff was super knowledgeable and helped me package my gifts in the right size boxes. They have a ton of rental mailboxes. Parking is simple with easy access. read more
