I think the ihop in Enfield is well above most others, but The Farmers House was something else entirely. The food was so good and the kids talked about it all day. The staff were quick and friendly, but busy. We all got something different (French toast, an omelette, and kids pancakes) and each of the three of us were very pleased with our choices. They don't do anything here you haven't had before, but they do everything very well. The only thing I could say was not great, and I hate complaining about things like this, is the parking. I know that's got little to do with the restaurant itself, but it is not the easiest spot to get in and out of, especially with everything going on at the X lately.

However, our party of four waited 50 minutes for our breakfast. Even coffee took quite a while to arrive. A canned coke was delivered 20 minutes after ordering. Three out of the four entrees were served after waiting for 50 minutes, the other one took an additional 5 minutes and we waited for another 5 minutes to receive the side. The food was mostly good - Omelet was chock full of meat and was delicious. Bacon was really good. Burger was average and fried chicken was kind of meh - crispy, but very dry. We did enjoy the live acoustic music. It was great to hear live music in the morning since most places only have it at night. However, the excessive wait for food really overshadowed the rest of our visit. Oh well.....

Cute little shop with a ton of Italian foods of all descriptions. Stood at the deli counter for a little while before one of the three people working behind the counter actually noticed my 6'4" 300 plus pound frame. Even though there was only one other person besides me being helped. I was excited to see that they had homemade salami on the menu so I decided to get a whole grinder. The young lady who was helping me seemed somewhat bothered that she had to wait on me. I ordered my grinder and made a quick change to it BEFORE she started making it and her disappointment was very apparent with her body language. Whatever, it was quite humerus actually. That kind of thing doesn't really bother me. Also picked up some sausage, antipasto salad, etc as well. As far as the grinder goes the homemade salami was delicious and an excellent choice. The grinder roll is massive which is what I think people are so hypnotized with when they mention the Pajers grinders are "huge". Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of meat but its large size is mostly due to the massive roll. Still, it was worth the $18 in my opinion. Cash only, so be aware of that. If you're in the area it's worth stopping by, not too sure I'd drive too far out of the way to stop in there though. Also, be prepared for some potential "spicy" customer service. Perhaps they treat their regular customers better, who knows?

The bowls are definitely my personal fav because I can customize them as much as I like. They are definitely filling. All of the workers that I've spoken with are so kind and make an effort to make my experience even better. I love visiting during the summer because of the outdoor seating and it just creates such a nostalgic and calm ambiance. This restaurant just keeps getting better every time I see it!

Very definitely the worst middle eastern (-ish) food I've ever had. Also the worst takeout food…read moreI've had in maybe 15 years. So called "döner" bowl contained 5 french fries (the only good taste in the bowl) a pile of iceberg lettuce and bunt scraps of meat that looked (and tasted) like the bits left over from slicing off whatever meat they started with. Beyond "well done", dry as a bone. There was plain white rice so crunchy and hard it seemed like it wasn't even cooked. When there are at least 4 very good local restaurants serving döner/gyro/kebab, I can't fathom that anyone would order this, unless like us, we tried an unknown place that offered delivery.
