We have two young children and needed a second vehicle. Biggest mistake of my life coming to Finish Line! Turns out BOTH of the vehicles have issues! Within HOURS of having the Land Rover the TRANSMISSION light came on. They said it was no problem and they could fix it. Took it back the next day to get "fixed" and the transmission is STILL faulty. The vehicle will kick out of gears on the free way, check engine light always on. So unbelievable. The second vehicle, Nissan Leaf, an electric vehicle, that loses charge? When I left my house it said I had 60 miles.. by the time I was on the freeway the numbers quickly dipped until I was at 5!!! BROKE DOWN ON THE BOZEMAN PASS WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK WITH MY CHILDREN INSIDE! The worst part? This dealership will do NOTHING about it! Im done playing games. Well, I want everyone to know not to go to finish line automotive in Belgrade! They completely screwed us! The truck that we bought had codes that had come up, that they cleared. The codes were stored, according to the mechanic. They also talked us into an extended warranty, telling us that any mechanic will take it, not true. That it would be a $100 deductible, also not true, it's been in the shop twice and both times cost us almost $400 plus. The check engine light is on again, and now we will have to start all over again with the warranty company. That also doesn't include what it cost us to rent a car while it was being fixed. Finishline in Belgrade is a damn joke! Go to a reputable car lot. read more

I would like to start off by saying I am aware that I purchased my vehicle as is and understood that when I bought it there was a mild issue with the catalytic converter. I was made aware that eventually it would need replaced which I am 100% okay with. Although, after putting 1,000 miles on the vehicle since purchasing back in late august of this year, my car flashed multiple lights on the dash and when I took in my vehicle I was shown that I needed a new front axle, cv boots, I had a decent oil leak, as well as all new gaskets and spark plugs. This to me was a shock as when I purchased the vehicle I was informed that other than the catalytic converters eventually needing replaced that the vehicle was in great mechanical condition. The service was great and employees were kind when purchasing the vehicle, my concern is that I feel like I was taken advantage of with all these parts needing replaced on top of what I was told. I'm not too knowledgeable on what to look out for on cars and maybe that was obvious to the employees and they decided I was a good victim to take advantage of. After getting the vehicle inspected by certified audi mechanics I was quoted a hefty price to fix the vehicle. I know that it is my responsibility to pay for the vehicle. I guess it is just frustrating and it was a lesson well learned for me to always no matter how well you trust a shop to always get your car pre inspected by a separate mechanic before purchasing. Maybe I was just unlucky and Im sure many of there other cars are wonderful options that are great cars, but overall i'm dissatisfied and disappointed. Be careful and pay attention to details. They are known for painting over rust. Remember that movie Matilda and how here care takers were dishonest car salesmen? Very similar experience. Here is my story: I drove to Belgrade, MT on Sunday, June 21 to look at a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic White Truck which was advertised on Finish Line Auto Sale's website. I had contacted Finish Line Auto Sales via text message about this truck throughout the previous week. Arriving early on Sunday morning, I met with Thomas Put to test drive the truck. I drove the truck and liked it. I did notice it had a little of a rough idle, but could be an easy fix based on my limited mechanical knowledge. I offered $6500 for the truck and my offer was accepted. I paid cash for the truck. I did sign a contract. During our time in the office, I asked if all of the systems in the truck were working, because I did not have the knowledge to test everything at that time. Everything seemed fine until I drove the vehicle home to Helena, which is when I noticed that it spurted some white smoke at times. I learned that the truck has a fuel saving system that shuts off some of the cylinders automatically when they are not needed which causes this smoke. I purchased a $300 tuner to shut the system off. That resolved that issue. After a trip to Georgetown Lake in July, in which I drove the truck, I noticed that my low oil light came on confirming that the engine was burning oil. I was told the oil was changed before I bought the truck, which make me believe they knew of the issue before I purchased the truck. Furthermore, I changed the oil on the truck and refilled it with the recommended oil. About 700 miles later, the light came on again. This revealed that the engine was and is still burning oil. This is a major issue which could cost thousands. In addition to these problems, I noticed upon closer inspection that there are some rust spots on the truck around the fenders and passenger door that were painted over to conceal them. I have also had to replace two tire sensors that were worn out. The passenger combination heated seat does not work, the rear defrost, and the third brake light is burned out. All these issues, especially the burning oil, leads me to believe that Finish Line Auto Sales purposefully sold me damaged vehicle and covered up the extensive issues. read more

I had an almost flat tire and every gas station in town tire gauges are out of service. It was a Saturday and I saw that they were open so I stopped in to see if I paid them if they would fill my tire up. The getlemen in the store were so nice and told me to pull my car around to the service center and they would fill it up. They got me on the road again within minutes and would not let me pay. After we brought it home, there was an issue with the passenger air bags; even mechanic inspection did not catch it because light only went on when there was a passenger. Best car buying experience ever!!!!! We called on a vehicle that we were interested in to find out they had sent it to auction in Las Vegas. They went above and beyond and contacted the transport company and arranged to have the vehicle dropped off in Salt Lake City(which is better for us because we live in Utah). We were able to go test drive the vehicle and work the deal over the phone and we were the proud owners of an amazing FJ Cruiser and it was pretty much delivered to our front door. Poor customer service. Purchased a SUV from them was in the shop twice in the first week a broken belt and then the heater blower didn't work. I had to pay for both repairs. While it was getting fixed at the mechanic shop they recommended I was told by the mechanic that the a c unit was seized up and would need to be replaced that is a expensive repair for a car I only had for a week. Spoke with finish line auto and was told they would take care of getting the A.C. fixed. When it was time to get it fixed I was told it's not their problem. So they don't stand behind their word. The owner is very rude screaming and yelling at me over the phone because I needed to sign a paper which no one ever called to tell me. read more
