This time we came for my hubby to get new shoes and gear since he had wore out his old favs. Since the store is so well-organized, he was able to locate his favorite style of shoes and of course a few other pairs that he just had to have. Then, he ended up in the clothing section. He was able to find the shirts and pull over he needed to his early morning workouts. Well, I was left unsupervised and found the wonderful clearance section with and additional percentage off. I did not need but had to buy shoes because of the amazing prices. A woman can't have too many shoes especially lifting or running pairs. Only reason four stars is the small store which has a limited clothing section compared to their competitors at this outlet. Checkout was quick and accurate. Like always we will be back to this location.

Because Rack Room Shoes' selection is fairly broad, I've ended up shopping here at least every six months for one or more of my teens over the years, and they can usually find shoes they like. As another reviewer noted, some of the sales staff is very eager to recommend online ordering of out-of-stock shoes (does he get a commission?!), but especially when my kids' feet were still growing, that just wasn't practical... and really still isn't if we're not already familiar with the brand. But we buy shoes on nearly every visit, and we're always satisfied that we paid a great price.

My daughter knew exactly what ones she wanted when entering the store so we walked back to the shoe area and was greeted by the staff. We asked for her size to try on the shoe to which the employee quickly went and found. Turns out that Vans run a bit smaller so we asked for the next half size as well as another color shoe to try on. He sort of had an attitude that he would have to go back into the stock area to get the shoes, so he measured my daughter's foot. Upon measure he quickly changed his attitude and said that we were right in that she'd need the next half size. He went in the back and brought them out. We ended up purchasing her original ones she wanted along with the stain spray. Staff at the register was pleasant and explained the reward program which I was ready to sign up for since you get points for your purchases -- turns out she cannot sign me up in store. I'd have to download the app and signup that way. Asked her if by doing that I could get points for this purchase which she quickly said yes and that it'll be an easy process whereby I'll just have to add the code from my receipt on the app. OK! Got home and downloaded the app, searched it over and finally found that I'd have to call Vans customer support to get the points added for today's purchase. Yet another step in this complicated process! Called and customer service was super helpful and got my purchase added. Overall happy but they should streamline this process to where customers can signup for the program at the time of purchase in order to avoid all of these steps. Any other store you can signup at time of purchase with no issues.

They only had a few pairs of boots and the only ankle boots weren't comfortable. The did, however, have about 2 or 3 long aisles of sneakers. I did find a pair of Asics. They really had so many to choose from. The aisles were very clean and organized. I didn't really see too many employees on the floor, but the cashier was very friendly and offered a service to waterproof any shoe. I declined, but it's worth considering with rainy season heading our way. So if you're looking for sneakers and sandals. This is the place to go.

They don't just stand around and look at you as if you're not there or overwhelm you with selling tactics like some other places do. I've ordered stuff online numerous times and was always assisted by each of them to find what I'm looking for and have it sent to my home. I live quite some distance from this location so that really helps. It's just really nice to shop with people who don't mind helping you and provide great customer service! it makes for a GREAT shopping experience and I don't mind returning.
