First off if I could give them two reviews, I would only based off of one good employee. Manager was super rude. Had a face on like he doesn't want to be there and gave attitude in front of me about getting a shoe I asked for. He was absolutely the reason why I would recommend not to go there. I've never felt so uncomfortable shopping. Horrible service. I was one of two people in the store and did not get any greeting or help. I stood with the shoe in my that I wanted to buy and the manager was too busy talking to her coworker. I asked for the manager and she responded that she was one of the managers, I expressed my frustration and how I kept looking at her for help and she didn't bother to come over ask if I needed help or wanted to try them on. Came into finish line with my brother, the service was really bad the guys working here looked like they hated their lives.. and just looked at us funny, when asking for helped I was ignored once and then finally when they did come to assist me they were still just rude and over it. I made this Yelp for this particular Finish Line store because I wanted to praise my experience there but I could not find this specific store on yelp. Experience: I have never been to finish line before, my boyfriend bought me a pair of running shoes. Accidentally got the wrong size, I went the next day to get the right size at the Finish Line in Santa Ana with the original box, bag, receipt, and unused shoes (FYI do not go there if you don't want to have a horrible experience) that place is another one star story, I wrote a review on it so you can look it up if you want. After the fiasco in the Santa Ana store I finally walked out with store credit. For a first impression my perspective of Finish line was a Walmart version of a sports shoe store. Thennnn I went ahead and tried again (only because I was stuck with store credit) the one in the West Field West Covina mall, I called ahead of time because of my doubts from my last experience. Carlos was the one who got to assist me and he was epic. Heard a frustrated girl out, gave me advice and the information I needed with the inclusion of exceptional customer service, super nice. Completely changed my perspective. When I got there Carlos recognized me and helped me out through the whole process of finding a pair worth exactly my store credit and that is a size 8 that I liked. I always shop with Finish Line with my sneaker needs and very happy with the "Winner Circle" rewards. Too bad, the winner circle was replaced with "Status" last year. I did not receive my birthday reward this year. Call in to the customer service, and the response was : The birthday reward is generated by the system. I was on the hunt for these Adidas NMD R2's for my boyfriend's part 1 of his Valentine's Day gift. I was trying to order online but of course they didn't have his size! I had no idea these were so popular. I was honestly just browsing around off of all the shoe websites and found them on Finish Line's website. I frantically called any Finish Line store that was close by and was unfortunate to have called this location. Initially, they were no help at all because of Natalie. She had the audacity to tell me over the phone "I'm really busy right now" and tossed me to another associate. I work in customer service too and that is the worst thing you can say to a patron. I consider myself somewhat of a sneaker head except I'm very picky!! Yesterday I decided to go to West Covina mall and buy myself a pair shoes I can use for basketball. I looked at couple different stores I found myself at Finishline. I walk in, and one of the sales associates walks up to me with a big smile. She asked what she could do for me and I said I was looking for some basketball shoes she walked me over to work they keep the most premier basketball shoes. After chatting for a few minutes about the different shoes and the comfort and popularity of some of them I tried on the new Kyrie fours Super comfortable but my surprise came when she took the shoes out of the box and unlaced both pairs and put And some new gel Insoles.. I was very surprised by that and I haven't felt that kind of customer service from any kind of shoe retail place. I ended up purchasing a pair what the insoles and we spoke about another pair but I wanted to see footlocker to see what they offer, once I get to Footlocker I was completely ignored and I finally got someone's attention, I tried on two pairs new LeBron's and also the new Kevin Durant both of them were very uncomfortable reasonably priced but very uncomfortable. So I decided to go back to Finishline to make my second purchase I get there unfortunately they didn't have my size in the shoes that I wanted but the lady thad was helping me (her name is Andrea) I guess she's a manager there. she was so helpful so professional and very informative. Derian the guy who helped me to order my shoes on feb 26 and not only that he promised that i would get it between 3-5 business days and he was sure that i will be getting it which i never did. my shoes came in late plus it was used and displayed ! The employees there dont know nothing! I asked for a white shoe and they didnt have it so i tried a yellow and white shoes( huarache) just to double check my size and then made the online order for the white!!! guess what after i got the shoes super later ( 10 days after) it wasn't white but the same exact shoes color that i tried in their store. Coming up all the way from florida used & not in a good condition!!! Had to return it !! Such a bad experience for the 1st time at FINISH LINE & Worst customer service ever!. Haven't had a bad retail shopping experience in a while but had an unpleasant one today at this finish line. Ordered a pair of shoes for my wife online as a Birthday gift. Got my email saying print or bring this email to the finish line to pick them up along with ID. The order was supposed to be pulled and ready in a few hours but it took over 2 days and then I got the email. Finally when I make it to store with the order pick up email in hand, I was greeted by an employee who didn't seem very happy to help me. When I told her I had a an online order to pick up and had the pick up email with order number, I was told well when did you buy it and what's the shoe name. I said not sure of date and time but heres the pick up email with any and all info it said you would need, i was then rudely told it doesn't work that way, whats the shoe type. I went through my order info on my phone and read her the shoe name and size. She then went and grabbed it and proceeded to process my order with a very unpleasant attitude. I'm just following your company's instructions on how to pick up an online order so if you have a problem how about you take it up with the company you work for as I followed instructions verbatim from your company's email. Next time I need a pair of athletic shoes Footlocker will be my last choice read more

I ordered shoes online on December 16th for my son for Christmas and it said clearly I would receive them by Christmas then on the 23rd I get 2 emails.. one saying they will arrive December 26th and the other asking if I wanted to pay more to get them one day earlier. This finish line denied my husband and I to use our active duty military discount. We LOVE finish line otherwise, however this particular store discriminates the military. We had visited the Cerritos location the prior day and got the same shoes WITH a military discount. As a nice gentleman was checking us out and including our military discount, then a woman from another register named Alondra yelled to him that they do not give a military discount for his particular shoe. After my husband explained we got the same shoe the day prior at another location with the discount she said she can hold the shoe and call her district manager tomorrow and the we could come pick up several days later. Ordered shoes as a present for Christmas for my mom, she didn't like it and so I came to return it. Unfortunately it was Andrea who was helping me. She said I couldn't return it because it was worn and there were small scruffs. First of all it was not worn and the tag was still on it. The female employees were very rude to my girlfriend and I when I asked for help. They did not have a friendly attitude as I was trying to purchase shoes for the holiday season. At the register, I noticed the female cashier was focused more on her phone than the customers. Andrea, is her name! No customer service, rolling her eyes, sighing, not happy, not smiling, seem annoyed, and she doesn't even helped. I was looking for shoes and she approached and had this unwelcoming approach. I brush it off and continued to look for a nike shoes on sale. I was looking for a two pair of shoes to send in my country. So i asked her for sizes and she didn't even smile. I ask her if they give a veterans discount and she said, no. So she continued to looked annoyed every time i ask her for sizes. When i was about to order online on their website she is now worse. She asked me my name address and credit card. So i wrote it down to avoid her to roll her eyes on me because i have never treated this way when i go buy stuff. I buy lots of shoes each year. Mostly online, like zappos, military store, and 6pm. I'm a valued customer. Then i can stand it anymore. I asked her, "are you getting annoyed with me", she ignored me and said "i just need your email address". First off, the selection here is always great. Whenever I'm ready or am itching for a new pair of gym shoes, I go here first. UNFORTUNATELY, service is never 100%. Went in today to help my brother-in-law find his first pair of good quality gym shoes. The female sales rep with the nose piercing was the opposite of helpful. She is in the business of service, to help people find what is they need. It took her at least twice as long as the other associate to find the shoe in the correct size. Not only did she move slowly, she threw attitude when we needed a different size. Next time, be proactive and bring out both sizes. When she came back, she came back with a size larger than what we asked for, gave it to him without telling him the size or putting down the box. Then proceeded to ask how it felt. OBVIOUSLY, if we cannot decide between a 9.5 and a 10, and you bring out a 10.5, it will be too large. If you don't like working there, you can do two things; not work there OR pretend that you want to be there. Trust me, it will benefit your business, and probably you're personality. read more

I am giving this store 1 star only because it is not possible to give it 0 stars. I went in there today hoping to find the perfect shoes for my husband as a birthday present. No one offered to help me so I asked a guy that was working there for a couple of sizes. Once I decided for a pair he kindly ringed me up. Once I checked my receipt I realized that he had over charged me. I obviously proceeded to let him know, he then called over another associate to help him with reversing the transaction. This sales associate was beyond rude. While I was waiting for her to reverse the transaction I asked her "Can you just please refund me everything back on my card, and I will pay for it all in cash?" her response was "yea that's what I'm doing", mind you her tone was very rude, I told her that there was no need for her to be rude to me after all I am a paying customer. She proceeded to tell me that I was being demanding and shouldn't tell her anything while she was working on reversing the transaction. Ummm okay, I didn't want to be re-charged on my credit card while I wanted to pay cash, excuse me for trying to say what method of payment I preferred to use. The sales associates name was Andrea (at least that is what she told me). My first experience in this Finish Line store was far from pleasant! Do not recommend this place, go here if you want to get treated without respect. I already called their corporate office to file a complain.
