Frame Works attached my mother's hand written note to the back. I got tears in my eyes when I saw the final result. The proprietor takes great pride in his work, and it *definitely* shows. I've trusted "Picture This" with over a dozen rare pieces at this point... pieces ranging from numbered signed prints by rare artists, original paintings, vellum documents, etc (most being quite rare and fragile). "Picture This" has done an *AMAZING* job with all framing! I have *zero* disappointment so far. I recently asked for a few documents to be framed with "windows" on the backside so certain backside features like signets, signatures, stamps, etc, could be viewed if/when the frame is lifted off the wall. I wanted the interesting features of the reverse side of the documents to be easily viewed, and they were more than willing to take on that challenge. If you have any art, documents, or need anything framed (precious to you, or the world at large), then look here first.. skip the big-box places. Our interior designer stepped in, when I found myself completely 'out of gas' after selecting the prints for her to source, to recommend Finer Frames to do the work because she knew they did great work and with good turnaround times too. Right on all counts! We have a lot of custom framed art in our home, collected by working with framing galleries over the last 40 years as we moved around, and so I very much appreciated that the gallery owner, Meg, who was also the framer for our prints approached it with the eye of an artist, which she also is. Her frame stock recommendation resulted in the perfect choice. The work was expertly done and the turnaround time was excellent too. We have used a couple of other framing galleries in the area over the last seven years, we have been happy with both businesses for their strengths but also knowing their weaknesses we chose one or the other depending on the project. But Finer Frames will now be our one and only choice going forward for any project.
