I made my appointment with Metin because I saw another review that stated he helped with back taxes and facilitated getting paperwork ready for future home ownership. Doing taxes is always a painful process, but knowing you fell off the adult wagon and didn't file taxes for few years makes it even more stressful. Thankfully he called the IRS for me and helped me straighten it all out with zero judgment face or side eye-lol Even though I ended up owing a nice chunk of money it's nice that he kept it very light hearted and we were able to have a good laugh and joke about it. I spoke with Brian (Nice guy) regarding my 2022 tax returns and it was very apparent that he has very little knowledge about income tax returns. This is the type of business that takes your numbers and inputs into a Turbo tax software. They have no idea on how to maximize your deductions or take advantage of the tax laws. If you make $50,000 or less a year this is probably a great place to go or just use Turbo tax online. read more

Benjamin Franklin once said there were only two things guaranteed in life. Death and Taxes. Well, had Mr. Franklin dropped by RANTAX, he would probably add a house to that list too. With all the Tax reviews for RANTAX, I figure I would add the first Mortgage Broker review! When looking into buying a house and beginning the Mortgage application process, most of us who haven't won the lottery or inherited millions from a rich uncle have two choices. Apply one at a time, over and over again at various mortgage companies (applying and running your credit multiple times) OR find a Mortgage Broker and let him/her do the pairing for you with only one credit check! I chose the latter. I walked into Rantax set on buying a house, but was not confident I could qualify, much less do it on my own. After spending an hour reviewing my current credit and financial profile, I was informed I did qualify for a Mortgage and RANTAX immediately got to work to make it happen. From that day forward, I worked with directly with Metin to secure my dream home located 6,350 feet in our local mountains! Metin constantly went to bat for me, organizing all my documents, setting me up with the best possible profile for the dreaded underwriter review, and working with individuals that he has a personal relationship with behind the scenes from all different parts of the process, from people inside my actual Mortgage company who could quickly solve problems to Escrow Officers who allowed me to sign documents well after closing hours so I could keep on schedule. Different surprises popped up during the process but Metin navigated us through the trouble spots.
