I had an appetizer dinner here, and it was pretty good. I got the soup, pot stickers and veggie roll. I didn't see an option to choose fried or steamed, they came fried. The veggies rolls were a bit small, but overall everything was reasonably good.

Honestly one of the best thai curries I've had. The green curry doesn't hold back on the spice but is still very creamy from the coconut curry. It's also packed with veggies and meat so it feels worth the price.

Placed a to go order for chicken pad Thai and seafood dumplings. In the seafood dumplings I found pieces of short black hair in the food and in the sauce.

Very tasty Thai! First, the calamari appetizer was delicious! Tasted super freshly fried. The breading was perfectly crisp and thin. Some of the best I've had. The pad Thai was also very yummy and really flavorful. The noodles were good. Portion sizes were huge in my opinion. On to the real talk.... The seafood tasted a bit over cooked so I didn't eat much of it which is sad cuz I love some seafood. I'd recommend sticking to the meat. Overall good! The restaurant was very clean and staff was friendly. Parking is really good too.

Great food, great atmosphere! Server was also super friendly & fun! Highly recommend! Also the drinks were a decent price & the smoked old fashioned was delicious.

Oh My Goodness! This was our first time going, and I…read morecertainly hope it won't be our last! We came for my 71st Birthday dinner, and the food was not a disappointment! The Greek Salad, Truffle Fries and Flourless Chocolate Cake were the standouts tonight. But also let me "shout out" to the Hostess working tonight. She alone made the entire evening inviting! She was kind, friendly and compassionate. Our server, was upbeat, and simply wonderful! And the sweet chef... He reminded me of our youngest son. Friendly and appreciative for our words of praise regarding our meal prep. Just to be clear on the staff, since I neglected to gather names... we were there tonight, arrived shortly before 8:00, and dined until 9:20. The atmosphere of the restaurant gives an upscale vibe, but they put up with our unexpected, casual dress. We spent the day in Harper's Ferry, and headed directly to the restaurant from there. Restaurant was clean and booths were comfortable. Two notes: music was a bit too loud (I'm hard of hearing and had trouble hearing my husband and wait staff over it) and the ladies room is tired... definitely time for a refresh. Neither of these would keep us from returning. Notes: I'm a difficult dinner. I know this going in and tell the staff. I have a myriad of food and other severe allergies and they were patient, kind and helpful with choices. They handled a minor unexpected glitch, with absolute professionalism and panache! I honestly don't think I've had a better dining experience, in recent memory. Oh! That flourless chocolate cake, was my birthday gift! I'm still savoring it in my mind! This restaurant will not disappoint! Thank-you. Thank-you.

The service was really sweet but the food has a lot of kinks to iron out…read more I get that you want to create an upscale experience. Though it's rather odd that your wine list is only accessible through a QR code. Fonts on the site are so massive it makes the list really hard to scan. Minor things. The charcuterie board, though? Cheese had still the wax layer on it, bread was weird brioche mini croissants that were stale, some aged Gouda, a very very garlicy soft cheese of sort (chèvre?), and what seemed liked 3 types of store bought salami. And all of this is fair if you didn't charge $25 or so for it. That's just unfair. Talking about garlic. Everything had so much garlic, like, overpowering amounts of garlic. A side of carrots with massive chunks of garlic where you cannot taste anything but the garlic. Pasta with tons of garlic. And a margarita flatbread 'pizza' (which, in all fairness, wasn't called a pizza) that should have had basil on it but came with rucola leaves instead. No explanation. The sweet potato mash had so many pockets of salt, unevenly distributed, that it was, despite its decent consistency, off-putting. Has potential, but either the chefs are overworked, there's not good quality control, or someone isn't tasting the food that they're serving.

I want to start by saying that our server, Lydia, was fantastic. She was attentive, responsive, and…read moregenuinely seemed to care about our experience--especially when the food fell far short. In my view, good service deserves to be recognized regardless of kitchen performance, and Lydia absolutely earned that. This was our second visit. My wife and I enjoy oysters and were excited to find a nearby spot offering fresh half shells--especially with their $1 oyster special on Tuesday nights. On our first visit, we tried the "double D" oysters, which were large, plump, and fresh--exactly what we were hoping for. They were the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the lobster rolls didn't live up to the same standard. At that price point, they should be more substantial, and the bread should be appropriate for the dish. Instead, the roll was dry and the lobster portion was underwhelming. I'd recommend skipping it. That said, Lydia's service that night was excellent. Last night, however, was a different experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by someone who appeared to be the floor manager, who made seating two people without a reservation feel like an inconvenience--despite several open tables and a largely empty outdoor area. Not a great first impression. Once seated, we struck up a conversation with a nearby table and ordered an appetizer, a dozen mixed oysters, and entrees. I went with the flank steak sandwich featured on the menu, while my wife ordered the paella. The iced tea was good, and my wife's cocktail was well-made and generously poured--no complaints there. The salmon bite appetizer, while tasty, felt overpriced for what it was: essentially broiled salmon on lettuce with a maple glaze. When my sandwich arrived, it came with exactly three overcooked, limp asparagus spears--I should've gone for the tots. The sandwich itself was even more underwhelming: a small bun with maybe three ounces of meat, a few mushy onions, and some cheese. My first bite was mostly gristle and fat. I understand flank steak isn't a lean cut, but when served as a sandwich, it should be properly trimmed and sliced. There's no excuse for a $20 sandwich to be that poorly prepared. The overwhelming taste of black pepper didn't help either. I ended up sending it back after one bite. Lydia handled it as professionally as possible, but I declined a replacement. As for the paella, it raised a different issue--how do you end up with overcooked shrimp and undercooked scallops in the same hot dish? It doesn't make much sense. While the flavor was decent overall, the execution didn't justify the price. To summarize: Lydia is excellent--if you go, take care of her. The oysters remain a strong point: fresh, plump, and enjoyable, though they could be more generous with the horseradish and cocktail sauce. The biggest disappointment was the lack of accountability from management. There was no visit from the floor manager (Mr. Inconvenienced from earlier) or anyone from the kitchen to address the issues, leaving Lydia to handle everything herself. The wait staff deserves better. If you're going for oysters, it's worth a visit. If you're planning a full dinner, be prepared for high prices, small portions, and inconsistent execution. The service staff and menu have potential--but the kitchen needs to step up. One final note: if you're charging $36 for a pour of WhistlePig whiskey, it should be served properly--with a clean glass and appropriate ice. Serving it with debris floating in the glass is unacceptable. You lost that customer too. Lydia is the ONLY reason why this is rated above one star. Kitchen needs to step up. Big. You're going to start losing servers.

He told me Maryland specialized in Cabernet Franc and Viognier and I knew nothing about Big Cork prior to arrival, but dad it was named as a top 10 tasting room by USA Today. Bold claim, especially coming from California. It was an absolutely beautiful day to visit Big Cory on Sunday. U called to confirm I didn't need a reservation, was told I didn't. That was nice, so I continued my drive to the winery, following three other vehicles that turned into the winery grounds. Ample parking, stunning grounds and views of the surrounding area. A big white building with a surround patio greeted me as I walked in, taking in the ambiance of the place. It was busy with patrons sitting outside, standing at mo sitting at the bar. I was greeted by an English chap, names Andy who said he works be right with me. Gave me a few minutes to look around and take in the experience. Andy greeted me and told me to grab any seat. Told him o was new to Maryland wine, as it was my first time at any winery outside of Paso Robles. I guts my expectations were high but I dialed them back as I ordered my tasting flight. Not a big white fan, I was impressed I'm with their Chardonnay, not buttery like the California. It was light, crisp and fruity. A very well done white. In fact I enjoyed it more than the Sauvignon Blanc, which if drinking a white I usually lean towards. Found this a bit too sweet. On to the reds, which is what I was reliably looking forward to. Andy took time to explain each wine, some characteristics and processes behind each glass. Their Meritage, a red blend was okay but was missing something for my liking. I did however enjoy the Cab Franc as single varietal. Never got to the Siberian Ice but was treated to the Syrah, Nebbiolo and Black Label Malbec. Those last two tasting were wonderful. My tastings done, I ordered a glass of the Rose Brut as I took care of Andy and my bill. I did walk out with a bottle of Chardonnay and Cab Franc. Overall a wonderful tasting with some good wines. Worth checking out but being from Paso I'm not going out of my way to find East Coast wines. I know what my palate enjoys but a little change now and then can be a good thing. If I get t girlfriend out, we will be back.
