Thanks to my first experience in 2019 (reducted my whole house, replaced the furnace, tuned up the AC) with Gary and his company I recently called them again! This time due to a crack in my water heater and it leaking all over our basement. Gary helped troubleshoot it, advised what would be best for our house in terms of tankless vs tank, size, etc., and had us on the books ASAP. His techs were on time, professional, and finished the job faster than I thought as well as were "quiet" doing the job as we have a 6-month-old that didn't even know they were there! I have used Finney Mechanical twice now. First for a service call. My heater went out. Called and had a tech out within a few hours. Tech text when he was in route. Arrived m time wearing a mask. Very polite and professional. Troubleshooted the problem within 5-10 min. Super easy fix. Tech had the part on truck. Second time I used them they hooked up my mini split for my detached that I bought online. Super fare price. Again, great communication! Received a call saying he was going to be a few minutes late. I don't know why this company has great reviews, because the experience I've had with them is HANDS DOWN THE WORST! It took several days for someone to come by my condo to check the issue of my AC. three days later, they finally came to check my broken AC and said they would come back the next morning to fix it. It's now been 4 days and no one has showed up, and best of all THEY ARE IGNORING PHONE CALLS. It's currently 97 degrees and I've been without AC for over a week now! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

First of all, I didn't know who to call as this was my first a/c issue in 10 yrs. So the first thing I did was to go to the Better Business Bureau website. There I found a list of A+ accredited businesses ( never have gone wrong with BBB). My criteria was to find a small company who's ratings were positive. note: I didn't want a large company as my experience in the past was the estimators got commissions on work they contracted and their prices reflected that in higher prices (been there-got ripped off too). Unfortunately there is no 0 star for me to rate this company . This is the most unprofessional company I have ever experienced! DO NOT Use their service if you want to watch out your Pocket! First of all once once the heating is not working in the house I went on Yelp to check and see what company to call just like everyone else . Unfortunately this company didn't deliver what they were saying on the site . Paid them $98 the first time when they showed up . The heating wasn't fixed. Said will come back second day with parts or so... then I stated over a week waiting for them to come . Either no show or no answers. Or reschedule blablabla. Cost me time and suffered from the cold over a week . So after called the owner for updates and he hanged up on me because he was Frustrated as well and he didn't know what's going on with my heat. Then he suggested to bring his plumber to come check next day . And he and his plumber did come replaced some parts and we paid them $400 again after a week without knowing it was the plumbing issue from the very beginning. That was so unprofessional of them and Especially the owner was super cocky and with this horrible mean attitude . After paid them two times and they still sent me another invoice with $400 ish service bill Saying his people stayed 4 hours in my house to check the heating . Which is a big lie ! His people only stayed 10-15 minutes and left without knowing what is wrong ! And even sent someone who is new to this business to wasted my time !!! . That was Ridiculously not right and unprofessional for them to even ask for it ! So I told them I am not gonna pay them . Because of them I had to call another company call applewood which is the VERY BEST company we should use !! They only charge $29 for the visit instead of paying $100 or $150 for some other people ! So you guys shouldn't learn from my experience and don't use them !!! What an outstanding company! 10 out of 5 stars. My Mom and Step Dad were staying with me in Denver, as they had to emergency-evacuate from their home in Estes Park, due to the dangerous fires there. The next day, my gas furnace decided to no longer stay lit, the eve before a massive cold front was to arrive with a 50 degree temperature drop. #*&Q$*$&#)! Freezing Weather being great for the fires, no-so-good for us. However, Gary got me sandwiched in their busy schedule in NO TIME, and the very informative, patient, courteous and kind professional Tech James arrived an hour ahead of schedule to get my furnace working again. Quick response and repair when I really needed it! Our furnace went out on a Saturday when the weather was nice but the forecast was for below freezing. I was praying someone could help us and Gary came to the rescue! He showed up a little early and got right to work. He found the problem, gave me a quote and had a technician out to repair it that afternoon. The tech was super quick and the results were a furnace that heats better than before the repair. I will use this company again. They called me back right away, gave me tips to troubleshoot first, knowledgeable, show up on time, friendly and price is right! Our furnace went out in the middle of the night, and we woke to a freezing cold house. Gary was able to come out to evaluate our 18-year old furnace and quote us a new one the next day. These guys have come out at least 5 times to my parents house and they came out yesterday for my condo- need a new electric water heater. They beat their competition not only in price (and seriously their price is incredible) but in service. Took me a full 12 hours after a tech came from another company to get a quote. I was referred to Gary Finney by a neighbor after I had an appointment with someone who obviously wanted to rip me off. I have a boiler and the first comment was "I can drain the water" to " you need a whole new boiler $$$$". That guy was not coming to my house again. After that I was blessed to have met Gary! He was very honest telling me I needed an annual service and a couple of small parts needed to be replaced. He was on time, told/showed me everything that needed to be done and why.
