We did not have a reservation but that was okay, because we wanted to sit on the patio anyway! Service was great, our waitress was very nice & very knowledgeable of the menu! The food was great, we will definitely be returning.

Came for brunch. I got a breakfast sando it was very good. My wife got a pasta which she enjoyed. We both drank water meal was around 40 dollars not to bad.

The weather was almost perfect...you only needed a light jacket (insert meme from Miss Congeniality). I'm allergic to seafood and don't eat meat, so chicken Alfredo it was! The chicken was nice and crispy and cooked well. The waiter was kind and helpful and was able to answer any questions we had. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves very much!

    Lasagna involitini

We were told everything is made in-house, including the pasta--and it shows. Some of the best pasta I've ever had! My lasagna involtini was top-notch: a seared pasta spiral filled with cheese, paired perfectly with the bolognese. My wife ordered the chicken Parmesan, and honestly, I wish I had too--it was amazing. We'll definitely be coming back, and next time I've got my eye on the shrimp scampi.

    Potato Poppers with Herb Ranch

Myself and a friend met here for dinner when they reopened at 4:30p. Customer service was really good. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was really good. For an appetizer we had the potato poppers, which is essentially fried pasta served with herb ranch. I give it an 8/10. I had chicken parm. The sauce was delicious, the chicken had a nice crunch and it was a decently sized piece of chicken and a nice amount of sauce and noodles. 8/10. My friend had the vegan mushroom spaghetti. She enjoyed her dish. The Emerald Island drink was really good! When it was time to get our checks and box our food up, I asked for a small cup to put some of the leftover herb ranch I had left in it. The waiter then asked if I wanted two cups of sauce. I initially told him I just need a little cup to put the sauce I already had in. Then I just agreed to the extra sauce that was offered. It wasn't until he brought the checks out that he mentioned it was an extra cost. $1 for the herb ranch and $2 for the red sauce. Our checks were already on the table at this point. He then mentioned that he would need to add the cost of the sauce on. A simple "hey just to let you know it's going to be extra for the sauce, do you still want it?," would have been nice. After he is paid. He then brings out a small EMPTY cup which is what I asked for in the first place! I would have said no to him to giving me a fresh new cup of sauce had I know he was going to bring an empty cup. Smh. Overall rating is a 7/10. However, I'd go back and try another dish. EDIT: Thank you to the owner! I will come back.

Last week it was time to give this place a try. I've seen a lot of information, so my daughter and I gave it go on a Friday night. Our server was very nice and our meal was very good. So good, we decided to take my mother there for Sunday brunch. All three of us enjoyed the meal and have found a new favorite place. Way to go guys, keep it up

    Destroyed meal.

I do not care for pasta. So asked for an alternative side. Your waiter had 0 suggestions. I said well you are serving sweet potatoes and squash with other things so I would like chicken parm with sweet potatoes as a side. It came out with a pile of sweet potatoes in the Chicken piled on top of it. Then your waiter dumped hot cheese and sauce all over the top. Making the most disgusting looking plate you can imagine. The hostess separated it and brought me a new bowl with sweet potato. But then I was eating alone as my husband ate his while it was hot and fresh.

    Spaghetti and Meatballs
    Cristina M.

Food: 5/5 The food was wonderful. The mushroom onion dish and the appetizer with three spreads were both delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs were "the best I've ever had." according to my friend who dined with me. Is it the best Italian food I have ever eaten, no, but it is certainly the best in Wichita. Service: 4/5 The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable but my drink and refills took a markedly long time to make it to our table. We had to ask for our beverages and check in on refills several times before they actually arrived. Ambiance: 3/5 It has a cool location but the decorations don't take full advantage of the layout and they are also trying for cottage core or provincial but not quite meeting either. The best part of the ambiance was the music. It was a great volume but the lack of good acoustics made it hard to hear each other. They should add more sound baffles on the ceiling either that or something eclectic like books, they absorb sound well.

    Very cool sign!

First - Group of 9. Nobody can make a decision these days; so we did! Fio Rito it was. Place was packed, but the reservation helped greatly. First the bread appetizer and different types of toppings. Not bad, but I felt the menu needed more to choose from for 'starters'. Followed by their version of an Old Fashion - my new favorite drink since 2021. Theirs were called "Smoky Bandit" of something like that with hints of black walnut infused something, but it had bullet and the cherry so I thought I'd survive. After two, I was just fine! Bar service was pretty good, with lots to choose from. I had the Chicken Parmesan, something I seldom order, the wife had Lasagna, a friend had Shrimp Scampi. These items are staples at an Italian restaurant, so we thought it would be as good as Carnitas at a Mexican joint, if they know what they're doing. All of them were exceptional, unique in presentation and preparation. The only complaint - it was so loud we were all yelling our communications. Someday buy some sound baffle ceiling mounts. It will help greatly. It honestly kind of took away from the meal and atmosphere. In general, servers and staff were well versed on how to do it and performed very well. We hope to be back again soon! Proud of the local Rickard brothers for putting together an awesome dining spot. Competition is fierce in Wichita, but they seem to have it covered well. Give this place a try Yelpers and try something besides Olive Garden for a real change.

Prime Strip loin with mushroom ravioli
    Tim N.

We reserved a spot for the Valentine's Day tasting menu, and once again, FioRito did not disappoint. It remains one of our favorite spots in all of Wichita. As my wife is pregnant, we truly appreciated the thoughtful effort they put into crafting delicious mocktails. The lamb meatballs and butter lettuce salad were a fantastic way to begin the meal. My strip loin was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and paired wonderfully with a mushroom ravioli and a smooth parsnip-potato puree. My wife opted for the prawn angel hair pasta and was absolutely delighted by the sundried tomato butter that enriched every bite. For dessert, we indulged in another treat that exceeded our expectations. We will always return to FioRito--it's a guaranteed winner every time. The service was excellent, too; Jon was a fantastic server--attentive and prompt.

    Lamb rigatoni

I love good food. I'm so happy I finally got to try this place on Tuesday night. This is a true gem of Kansas! It's nice on the inside, but casual enough to be comfortable. The menu we had is different than those posted, so I'm sorry I didn't take a shot of it, but we had the lamb rigatoni and the Calabrian fried chicken bowl. (We had two cocktails off the happy hour menu, the lavender ginger drink was really good). My girlfriend enjoyed the chicken dish better while I liked the lamb dish better, but having tasted both let me say they were each EXCELLENT. Everything is made in house, the pasta is perfect, and the flavors were fantastic! After the first two bites I literally said out loud "what am I eating? How is this so good?" Aside from the food being the best I've had in the entire Wichita area EVER, the service from Donna was amazing(she did not steer us wrong!), as were the drinks (especially the milk punch!!!) and service from Aubrey! 10/5 Need to try everything

Ambiance is okay, I guess.. dated a bit and weird with the place mats... makes it seem cheaper than the bill was. We went at 5pm on a Monday - it was pretty empty which was perfect. Didn't start to fill up until we left around 7ish. You do have to pay for parking but there's a garage on the block and I think my ticket was like 3 bucks. First we ordered the baba ghanoush... as you can see in the picture it is not very appetizing looking but the issue was it was SO bland! I'm an eggplant fiend and it tasted like water almost. We sent it back and got the charcuterie board... meh. It was fine, I guess. Don't recommend. The sauce in the middle is sweet? Just not my taste. I wanted to order the salmon by three (annoying it's impossible to find a picture of the dish online, if it's anything like everything else we got it probably wasn't good)... they weren't able to get fresh sushi grade salmon or the roe so they had an impromptu dish offering- salmon with fettuccine in a caper sauce topped with fried ham... it was SO salty! The salmon was dry. It was a good sounding dish just poor execution. Desert we got the raspberry emerald tart, against our better judgement as we hadn't had anything tasty yet, and it was so cold and not fresh that it tasted like nothing. The pistachio cream had fully soaked into the crust. It was just a miss, it was careless. That pretty much describes the whole meal (except the servers!) - the chef did not seem to care at all. Very disappointed, will not be back.

My wife and I have begun to cycle Siena Tuscan Steakhouse into our favorite date-night choices…read more The menu has a good mix of dishes that most people will be familiar with and some options that are more unique, at least for the Wichita area. The steaks taste like high-quality meats and have always had a perfect temperature and sear, and their pastas and sauces taste like they're made fresh daily in house. I am not a fan of the grilled Caesar salad, as I didn't realize (because the menu didn't specify), that they basically just serve you uncut romaine that's been wilted on a grill, and it was pretty unpleasant. That said, most of the things on their menu have been very good, cooked properly, and taste like they use fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is nice and classy, but not so stuffy that a normal person feels out of place. There is a nice indoor balcony area that overlooks the main dining room, but if they're busy I would suggest waiting for a table in the lower dining area, as the balcony is pretty loud when the restaurant is full. Service has always been very good, with friendly staff who accommodate special requests and act professionally, but they've never blown me out of the water. That said, all I really want from a server at a restaurant is for them to do their job without acting like they're miserable to be there, so I have zero complaints with the staff. My only real "complaint" with Siena Tuscan are the prices...while the food is very good, you pay for it, and there are quite a few items on the menu that I feel are about $3-5 overpriced. The portions are not huge, which is common at higher-quality restaurants, and sides are not included with many of the dinner menu items, so you'll pay extra for them. If you are accustomed to "Texas Roadhouse" portions and prices, you may feel a certain way about the value for money, but in our experience the quality of food justifies the cost. That said, it's not unreasonably expensive, and in more than 6 visits the worst experience I've had is not liking the grilled Ceasar salad, but I think they've since taken it off the menu anyway.

With beer options as varied as Miller Light, as craft as ShockTop, and liquor options that stop just short of Fernet, the Field House isn't for city slickers with perfectly coiffed cowlicks hoping to sample artisan cocktails, and imbibe in sipping tequila. It is however, the perfect spot for those of us in our late 20s and early 30s who never forgot the power of a $5 you-call-it, and the allure of a bartender whom we grew up with, and had a crush on 15 years ago. If you're looking for an economical way to lap away your sorrows and meet a stranger that you'd met once before at the SigEp house a decade or so ago, Field House will deliver. They have drinks online that look great, but none of the bartenders knew how to make them and they seemed confused when we showed them the online menu we were ordering from. There are no menus anywhere but online. We did find food menus but no drink menus so that's why we pulled the online one. For a cocktail lounge, I assume they have mixed drinks they create beyond your traditional cocktails. So it was a bummer no one knew the menu. So we just ordered traditional cocktails.
