Organized a group dinner here. They were great about me changing the number up 3 then down 2. Service was great and our waitress was helpful in suggesting and organizing appetizers for the table. Sadly my steak was rare when I ordered it medium rare. I hardly ate it. In a group setting, I didn't want to return it. I ate around the edges and my broccolini side dish. I had been looking forward to it :( Atmosphere is nice. Very convenient if you are staying at the hotel. Cocktails were creative and delicious.

I was kinda skeptical about trying this place after seeing its rating, but I figured I'm staying in the hotel so I might as well - the negative reviews centered around service and it's a Tuesday evening. The restaurant wasn't empty, but I was offered a table with no wait. I was alone so I sat at the bar. No delay in being greeted, given water, and a menu. My food and drink orders were taken as soon as I was ready. I ordered a 14oz ribeye medium rare and it came out pretty good. It did have a small bit of char at one end, but likely just from fat melting and grabbing a flame. Definitely not worth counting against a star. Potatoes and asparagus were good. To be honest it was probably one of the best hotel meals I've had in quite a while.

We ate here last night, celebrating our recent marriage. Jenny and Scott treated us as if we were the VIPs of the night. We had the filet mignon and the ribeye and both were cooked to perfection. What a hidden gem within a city we have lived in for so many years. Highly recommend. While observing the rest of the staff, everyone was so learned on the menu. The staff here could give a master class to other restaurants in Wichita as to how to treat and respect.

Our server was delightful. She brought over a beautiful, floral table arrangement she put together, after learning it was a special celebration for us. Extra special touch. Our steaks were perfectly done and very tasty. Our dessert was delicious. Service and ambience were top notch. Overall, wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

We were staying at the Ambassador hotel and decided to try their restaurant. I had requested a table by the window on open table when making the reservation and asked for a window table when we arrived. The hostess said "of course" when we asked. Then her colleague took us to a non-window table. When we asked for the table on the window in the corner, she said it was now reserved - and frankly was a bit snooty about it. BTW, there was no "reserved" sign on the table we requested (after being told we were getting a window table), and no one was seated there until we were paying our bill and getting up to leave. I believe she was lying to us as there was no ability to reserve a certain table when making a reservation. If she was telling the truth, the restaurant management policy should be to put a reserved sign on the table. She probably knows customers just love a 20 something year old snooty hostess making a first bad impression before they are seated. Honestly, we almost left, but it was 101 degrees outside and decided to just stay as we had a great experience in the bar with our pre-dinner cocktails. Once seated, we had excellent service by Sophia and fantastic food on our visit. Prices were not bad for a fine dining steakhouse. I highly recommend everything we had: Homemade focaccia bread, Carbonara pasta, wedge salad, and the Seafood Special of the night (sockeye salmon). My salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked. The presentation was a work of art. We really had to pass on dessert, but there also weren't great options in our opinion to tempt us. Giving Siena a 5 rating despite the hostess who sat us. Hopefully the manager will coach her as young kids need to learn how to treat customers if they want repeaters.

Stuck in Wichita during the January polar vortex and the only place to eat was the restaurant in the hotel. Fortunately it was amazing! The food was outstanding and the service just as wonderful! Get the carbonara... so good!

Another place off the menu. Steaks undercooked. Service dismal. Game over, off the list. Get it together Wichita.

I asked for a table for 6 and our server Mariah led us to a perfectly set table. She immediately served us waters (Yay!) as she handed us the menus and giving us the happy hour specials. Chris and I have been here a couple of times before and it has never changed! It is still very intimate and cozy! I ordered the Grilled Salmon, Chris had the Beef Fajita bowl, Trizha had the Fish Tacos, Jack had the Dive Burger, Noah had the Chicken Piccata and Houston had Mac n Cheese. Everyone raved about their food. My salmon was grilled to perfection and paired well the orzo! Chris liked his Fajita bowl and said he'll order it again! Mariah was awesome! She was very attentive and thoughtful. She brought Trizha a bowl of ice cream with a fountain and made her birthday celebration a little more special. How fun!

They posted some special additions such as prime rib so we decided to give it a try. The buffet itself was just a step up from a free hotel breakfast with the addition of salad, tomato/cheese skewers and cake. My assumption was the prime rib would be a traditional hand carved piece of meat, nope. I thought it was odd when the server asked if we would like prime rib and she would bring it to the table. She even had the nerve to ask us how we wanted it and we said medium. What came out was a thin piece of tough overcooked what looked to be skirt steak. It was pathetic at best, an insult at worst. For 3 adults with tip our bill was $170. 3 buffets $41 each, $6 each for 2 cups of coffee, tax and a 3% service charge with no explanation. The service was fair but I don't blame the server as she had too many tables. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't go back. Overpriced for substandard food.

Our server was friendly and helped us choose our meals. We all ended up ordering the Whiskey Beef Stroganoff, which took about 30 minutes to arrive. Everyone enjoyed it, I thought it could have been a little more favorable. He checked on us regularly and offered to sell us more drinks from the bar, but never refilled our water glasses -- unfortunately, water was my drink of choice that night. For dessert, we shared the Wedding Cake and Crème Brûlée, both of which were excellent. As for the ambiance -- I should have listened to my wife. She warned me that they were having live music, and she was right. It was loud -- uncomfortably so. We struggled to have a conversation, and even saw another couple order drinks, pay, and leave because of the volume. Lesson learned. Would we return? Yes, but not on a live music night. Pro tips for servers: keep water glasses full and clear plates after the meal. Miss one of those, and your tip might reflect it.

First, you get bread, butter, and salt. It's quite good! And it seemed like you could get more if you wanted. The appetizer we got was the wood oven roasted feta.. WOW. First, I know a lot of people don't like feta much but this tasted nothing like feta. It was like that super duper cheese taste on cheap pizza... spectacular. The mushrooms weren't really picked but still good, loved the pesto.. I didn't use the flat bread but it was great on the bread I mentioned above! I wasn't expecting this to be so good, it's crave-able. Heard the steak was good, they also got the loaded baked potato.. no complaints. I got the salmon and it was also way better than I was expecting. The beans?? Woah, they are so much more than just beans. They're so savory with bacon and spinach. I couldn't figure out what the yellow sauce was but it added a nice bright note. The beans were the star but the salmon was also good- the fried capers are a nice touch. It was seared super hard and a little overcooked but I didn't give a temperature so I shall next time. Overall this place is great. Totally worth the price although pricey. My bill was for the salmon and I got a dumb fancy water I regret but after tip it was $75. The steak and appetizer plus a soda was $90ish. So, yeah, $$$ but great vibe, great food, great service.
