Went to Bocatto's last night for dinner. I had the chicken piccata with the linguine pasta. I thought the chicken was done perfectly. The sauce was amazing. I gave the food a five. I also had a sangria with my dinner and a Caesar salad, which we're both very good I will be back and I will bring some friends

Food: 3/5 The food was good, nothing to write home about but the flavor was fine and the portions were just ok. Nothing remarkable from the tiny portioned appetizer to the under-salted food, just a disappointment. Not something I regretted eating but also not something I would seek to eat again. Service: 3/5 The service was just ok, they didn't refill water or soda promptly and trying to pay was difficult as they were busy and we felt sort of forgotten. Not the worst service, and they did get to everything eventually but not the best. Ambiance: 2/5 Overall, the ambiance is what really broke this place for me, the tables are too close together. The couple next to us was having a weird conversation and I knew because we were practically eating in their lap. The bar was also super close. I think the vibe they were going for was intimate but the space was just not laid out well. Honestly not sure how they passed a fire code inspection with the table layout and exit situation. Just a hassle all around. Probably won't be back.

I am impressed. Food and service were amazing. We ordered the shrimp scampi toast (pictured), chipotle chicken+ shrimp pasta, and creamy poblano chicken. All were excellent. Will definitely come again

I had my birthday dinner here and it was amazing. The only thing I would skip on is the calamari because it was calamari sticks instead of rings, so it's just a preference thing. The lemon piccata was delicious and so was the chicken parm pizza. The service was great. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the sangria margarita! I will definitely be back- also I was given a sweet treat choice complementary for my birthday. I selected lemon blueberry mascarpone cake. It was also excellent.

Great food, and even better service! A nice place for a date night and some wine & dine. Recommend getting a reservation since the place can get busy and not a lot of tables compared to other restaurants. They have a full menu with a nice selection of apps, pasta and paninis. Recommend the Calamari for starters and the Chicken a la Reisling if craving for pasta. Their Sangria is refreshing but the mascarpone was just OK.

We visited this place for our Anniversary. It was a lot smaller than I expected, but that didn't stop both the food and the service from being great! We made a reservation and were greeted and sat at a reserved table. The waiter was the only one and was serving all the restaurant. We still had great service. The place was small, but had a nice Italian vibe. The food we had was delicious and was a big serving! The dessert was very tasty! Cute little place that is in the heart of Old Town and has some really tasty food!

I love Bocatto. Their chicken masala is to die for! Everyone in my party ordered something different and everyone liked what they ordered. The kid's spaghetti was a huge portion. Plus they brought it quickly due to my grandson thought he was starving. Overall it isn't a "fast food" type of place. Be ready to relax and enjoy your food, the ambience and your dining companions.

Was meh. Definitely not one of the best spots in Wichita. Shrimp felt like they had been frozen. Pasta was mushy.

The food was awful. The mussels were old, and the fettuccine was likely out of a jar.

Less positive: Door cover charge (this could have been because of the live band? Not sure if there's always a cover) $10 each, not terrible. They have drinks online that look great, but none of the bartenders knew how to make them and they seemed confused when we showed them the online menu we were ordering from. There are no menus anywhere but online. We did find food menus but no drink menus so that's why we pulled the online one. For a cocktail lounge, I assume they have mixed drinks they create beyond your traditional cocktails. So it was a bummer no one knew the menu. So we just ordered traditional cocktails. Our bartender was great all night and our drinks tasted good and the bill was low. The live band was great and there was a dance floor for some two step. Everyone seemed to be having fun and we really enjoyed our time here. We are going to come back when there isn't a live band to see how it is and if there is no cover, so I'll update my review then. Overall 8/10 experience. I think if they just had mixed drinks for cocktail lounge it would be 10/10

From their facebook and the article I got the vibe it was a Cocktail Lounge/Bar with live music etc. We came on a Friday night, there was a good amount of people in the bar. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits enjoying their drinks. We sat at the bar and the bartender Julian helped us. He was very friendly and approachable. I order the Suga Suga How You Get So Fly (it is an espresso martini with a cinnamon rim and a brown sugar syrup) my husband got the Mr. M Berry. Unfortunately I did not like my drink, I drank my husband's drink. His drink was good. Mine tasted very syrupy and artificial in flavor. We decided to stay for one more drink to leave on a good note. I ordered a Tequila Old Fashion (not on the menu) and my husband got Moxie's 4x4. These were a lot better than our first drink. For my old fashion it was very thick and syrupy, but I let the ice melt for a while and it was a better texture. I plan on coming back with some girlfriends and maybe trying some new drinks. As well I think I would like when they have live music more. They were playing really loud club music. Rap and R&B. Don't get me wrong I like that music. But not at a Cocktail Lounge Bar. I was hoping for something a little more relaxing and sensual. Dimmer lights and music to match that vibe. I know it's new so maybe they are still trying to adjust the overall aesthetic. Overall it was a 4/5 maybe a 3.5/5. I will give a more updated review my second time around with the live music and other drinks. Bartender and service: 5/5 Prices are reasonable. Bar is clean and well kept. Menu: 1/5. They are hard to read and flip pages.

We try to check out a new place during each trip and wound up back at river city brewery. However! There was great live music coming from across the parking lot. Taking a closer look, we thought... cigar bar? Let's check it out. And I am glad we did! Mort's has such a great atmosphere! The girls working here are so cute, friendly and helpful! My partner is a cigar smoker but it was my first time. We opted for the Havana Honey, which was a smaller cigar. Our server got us all set up and that choice was pretty good! I now see the hype. They have a large drink menu but I stuck with a Michelob Ultra. We came back the next day and Sundays was $1 off drafts so we did the same thing again. The live music was great. Mort's has live music EVERY DAY! I love bars with live music and the fact that they have it every day is a reason we went back the next day. I can't wait for our next trip back to Wichita because we will definitely be heading to Mort's again!

It was actually warmer on the patio than it was inside the location. The live music was enjoyable and the singer played a lot of 60s and 70s easy listening.

In an era where most establishments are hiking prices and cutting corners on quality, The Belmont is doing the exact opposite. It is rare to find a place that excels equally in atmosphere, service, and flavor, but this spot manages to nail the trifecta! From the second we walked in, the hospitality was on point. We were greeted immediately by a friendly host and escorted to a table within five minutes. Our server was a true professional, appearing just two minutes later with cold waters already in hand. The restaurant itself is clean, elegant, and modern. easily one of the best restaurant vibes I've encountered in a long time. It's the kind of place that feels sophisticated yet welcoming. Do yourself a favor and order the giant cinnamon roll. It is a absolute powerhouse of a starter! phenomenal frosting, a perfectly crispy exterior, and sized to share (though you might not want to). The Wagyu Smash Burger was pure excellence. It was incredibly juicy and packed with that rich, savory flavor you only get from high-quality Wagyu. I also tried the Chicken Sandwich; the flavor profile was spot on and the bread was high-quality and fresh. While the chicken itself was a hair on the dry side, the overall composition of the sandwich was still impressive. Everything was great, but the Truffle Mac and Cheese is the reason you come here. It was, quite simply, absolute perfection. The noodles were executed with a flawless al dente bite, a rarity in many kitchens, and the seasoning was impeccable. I've eaten at some of the best spots across the country, and this easily ranks in my Top 5 Mac and Cheese dishes of all time. The Belmont is a must-visit in Wichita. Time to order and food to table was minimal, food is delicious and the restaurant uses local suppliers where they can, so it supports local growers. The inside has a beautiful art deco vibe going and the lighting is dimmed so it sets the mood. The music isn't loud, so you have the subtle sounds of other people talking, and the hustle and bustle of the kitchen staff working.
