Really great surprise! Wasn't sure what to expect based on the ads and limited reviews. Food was excellent! It's an interesting fusion of a Mediterranean combined with seafood and comfort food. So far, I can say the Philly cheesesteak and gyro are both spot on. Fries were crunchy and the location is great. Food was so good, we decided to have a second visit in two days. Absolutely delicious!!! 100 out of 10!! We ordered the combo #1 appetizer (tzatiski , hummus and salad) the lamb kebab platter and hamburgers. The lamb was so delicious and juicy, the fries were crispy they looked like they were hand battered and the rice was smooth and buttery. We happened to find this on google while trying to find something to eat and wanted to try it out. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and I got it on a pita instead of the other bread and a shrimp kids meal and a French dip. The food was phenomenal and so was the ranch! I honestly don't think there could be a wrong choice on the menu. We went while it was busy and the lady working the floor was on top of it. She met all of our needs and all the needs of the others around us. 10/10 recommend and can't wait to go back and try something else. Also the buffalo chicken sandwich looked amazing and I can't wait to try it! read more

First time here, but very happy with the food and service. We had the dolma appetizers, fresh and very good. For our main meal had a gyro and lamb kabob wrap. Both were more than enough to eat. Again all the ingredients were fresh. The lamb was tender and nicely seasoned. We will definitely be eating here again. read more

Not as good as the first time we came. We Had to ask for our order to be taken, forgot one of our appetizers and then when we got it it looked like it had been reheated, our lamb kabobs while cooked perfectly had way too much seasoning on them to enjoy, our hummus tasted store bought, for sure not fresh, food was over all too seasoned, music coming from kitchen was way too loud, and finally found a small hair under my fries so needless to say I didn't finish my food. Service was wonderful. We got the fire and food chicken wrap and the Hawaii 5-0 teriyaki chicken sandwich. The wrap was really good, but the chicken could've had more flavor/seasoning. The teriyaki sandwich was good, but again chicken needed more flavor for sure. Even with the teriyaki sauce it was kind of bland. The pineapple was a little tough to eat too. However, the fries were great! Overall we enjoyed the food and the service and will go back. :) read more

I was concerned with the 3.5 star average I saw and the slow service I read about in prior reviews but this place had good service and the speed of it was fine. All the food was good. We ordered Greek salad with chicken and the grilled chicken was "amazing" to quote my wife. The burger was solid. The gyro, I had this, was really good. The tsaziki sauce which I know I spelled wrong is one of the best I have ever eaten, they seem to shred the cucumber rather than ncut it into small cubes and it is amazing. Chicken fingers were great and appear to be breaded there in the kitchen and not frozen. Fried chicken wrap was very good too and has the added bonus of the tsaziki sauce on the wrap. The pita bread is so soft and delicious it really makes the gyros and the wraps soooo good. We need local places after COVID to stay open and succeed. Come to this place and give it a chance, you won't be disappointed. One thing they need to do---- get that pizza oven working! read more

Great food, but very slow service. I will only call in orders to this restaurant until they have time to solve their service issues. I would rate the food a 5 and the service a 1. I almost walked out after not being greeted or seeing any employees in an almost empty restaurant at lunch. I stood at the bar for over 5 minutes wondering what was going on as several groups of men walked in and out of the kitchen (presumably construction/renovation staff). Another customer waiting at the bar assured me the food was great, but stated he would always call ahead due to the very slow service. I was finally greeted by a very nice young man who verified they were open and said it would only take about 15 minutes for a food order. 45 minutes later, I received my food. While they definitely have some service kinks to work out, the gyro, fries, hummus, and feta dip were all on point! read more

Fire and food was great, clean, easy parking. And now, a year latter my draft reappears ! Going tonight bringing 8 hungry family members. Have been to f&f every couple of months. We were met with a smile and shown to our table as soon as we walked in. The server had 7 tables but handled us with grace, speed and accuracy. My wife and I had the grilled Mahi Mahi. The fried pickles could have been cooked more but was tasty. Feta dip and hummus is a definite reorder. First time having pistachio baklava and would have that again. Can't wait to see what wood fire pizza's are to come. The owner was very personable and genuinely concerned that our meal was as we expected. We went when there was one waitress and she was doing her best to keep up with others that came in, orders and answering our questions before we ordered. Our first time visiting and we will certainly be back! Very attentive staff, great food, enormous portions. I get a gyro plate any time I can and theirs was SO good! The staff offered ice cream and Baklava but we were too full. Saw that they had a cute coffe/ice cream station set up. Perhaps we'll come back just for dessert sometime. Fire and Food was an unexpected delight at the end of an "on-a-mission" day-trip to Pensacola. Being indecisive of where or what we wanted for a late lunch, we checked Yelp for something en route home, and thus, we stumbled upon Fire and Food. It boasted a menu of ice cream and cookies; burgers and pizza; but the Greek cinched it for us! Off I-10 somewhere around Milton, FL there stood Fired and Food! Looking like a log cabin on the outside and a modern, clean restaurant on the inside we decided to give the Greek food a try, and ordered the dolma appetizer to share and Gyros for each of us. Definitely authentic--- and enough food to fill us up with to-go boxes enough for 2 more meals!! Our server was friendly as well as knowledgeable of the menu and quick on both beverage and food service. The owner and head chef stopped by our table to check on our meals. He recommended we try the baklava-- but we were just too full and declined. So he boxed some up and sent it home with us ----gratis. Thank you Yelp for putting Fire and Food on our radar.
