First, they showed up on time to provide the quote. Second, John has an eye for detail and I could tell he would be meticulous with the installation. Third, APM's quote was provided quickly. It was not only competitive for a quality brand (Carrier), but the quote was broken out line by line...I knew exactly how much every part and task would cost. A separate contractor never replied when I asked them to itemize their quote. APM had excellent communication regarding when they would arrive, how long the install would take and what they would be doing while at our home. John told me to ask him all the questions I had while they were there; he wanted to ensure I was completely informed and confident of the new system and the installation. They arrived on time, completed the work on time, left the area as clean as when they arrived and promptly followed up with all electronic documentation the same evening the installation was completed. John even called the following evening to ensure the system was running to my satisfaction....which it was. The initial setup seemed competent, yet persistent issues soon surfaced, requiring four repair visits where each "fix" only spawned new problems--like refrigerant leaks, coil malfunctions, and evaporator failures not covered by their warranty. For instance, they charged $1,000 to repair an evaporator leak, only to insist two months later that the entire unit needed replacement at another $2,000--all while billing me for refrigerant refills every time. To make matters worse, their administrative handler was consistently rude, dismissive, and lacking in empathy, turning every interaction into an unnecessary burden. In conclusion, finding reliable HVAC services these days feels nearly impossible--true craftsmanship just isn't what it used to be. That said, the customer service at Nieboer is exceptionally poor, miserable rather; even the simplest conversations with their employees fall well short of basic cognitive function. unfortunately adding insult to injury.

They explained there's an additional cost for Sunday service and asked if we wanted Monday, but we stuck to Sunday and they said they'd be here. I selected the 2-4 pm appointment window and they arrived at 3; the plumber Dan went right in and unscrewed everything, snaked out the pipes, updated our gaskets, tightened everything up and the sink worked and stopped leaking! Their is a part that needs to be ordered and replaced when they get it. I feel Tony fits right in with the Rogers family and really knows his job. He also convinced me that I was very lucky that the problem was not any worse than it was since our unit is almost ten years old and I have never had them do a service call on it. I feel I cheaply learned a lesson and will be having them service our unit like I should have done for the past nine years.
