Our top of the line Trane furnace we bought from Rogers quit on us. Their tech Tony came out in great time and got it running in no time. Their is a part that needs to be ordered and replaced when they get it. I feel Tony fits right in with the Rogers family and really knows his job. He also convinced me that I was very lucky that the problem was not any worse than it was since our unit is almost ten years old and I have never had them do a service call on it. I feel I cheaply learned a lesson and will be having them service our unit like I should have done for the past nine years. Had a new Trane furnace installed. Crew was on time and fully prepared. Job was finished close to the time estimated by the installers, basement left cleaned up after installation. They did a quality job. They reviewed everything with us, about installation and operation of equipment. I would highly recommend this company! read more

It was a positive interaction, but I do hope that masks will be absolutely required for unvaccinated employees (as is the state mandate), and that vaccination will be strongly encouraged, if not required in the future. Glad they're taking it seriously and professionally! Hi, this post is about your company's COVID-19 protocols. My parents had you guys install a new air conditioner at their house the other day. The install itself was fine, it sounds like the repairman was perfectly nice, but it came up in conversation during the service that the guy was not vaccinated. Now that might be his prerogative at the moment, but having a job where you're trusted to come into other peoples' homes is not a right, it's a privilege. As a business sending people into others' homes, we want you to know that if the choice had been to given, they'd have opted to go the rest of the summer without AC. I certainly hope your guy was at least wearing a mask, but that wasn't mentioned in my conversation with my folks. But the bottom line is, masks really aren't enough or an excuse at this point. You're sending people into your customers homes and you do not know their health history, their age, whether they're able to be vaccinated or not. This should not be about politics either, the Trump Administration can at least point to the quick development of highly safe and effective vaccines as a bright spot in its legacy. The more people carrying the virus, the more likely it will be able to mutate into something that is vaccine resistant. Whether or not you're afraid of getting sick, it's your civic duty to do what you can to prevent that. I hope that you'll add proof of vaccination (weekly testing is not sufficient, a negative test only shows that you were negative at the time of the test, which could change in a matter of 24 hrs) as a prerequisite for the job, because people who have lived in this community and given you their business for a long time care about it and it's the right thing to do. I was referred to Rogers by a family friend, who received great service from them in the past. I needed some work done on my air conditioner in preparation for some work being done on my house. I called Rogers and spoke with a woman who answered the phone each time I called. While it was nice to talk to the same person each time, I had trouble getting in touch with anyone who could help me - the people who would provide the quote or do the work. I played phone tag with the owner and when I didn't hear back from him after several days, I called again. I was told they were very busy and they wanted their sales guys, the owner's son, to come out to take a look at what I needed done. The visit was scheduled for the next week. When Kyle came out he was very nice, but was late arriving. I left work to meet him and while he wasn't terribly late, I appreciate promptness. He took a look, listened to what I had to saw, answered some of my questions, and took some pictures. He stated he would email me a quote later that day. Two days later I called still not having received a quote. It took another two days to get the quote from him and when I did it was a flat number with no breakdown of what I would be paying. Additionally, the cost was MUCH higher than what I expected and what the contractors doing the work on my house expected. So I emailed last week asking for a breakdown of the cost, so I could understand what I was paying for. I'm still waiting for a response from Kyle. In the meantime, because I needed the work to get done, so the next phase of work could start, I called another local company to get a second quote. The work was completed today by the second company...for more than $300 less than what I was quoted by Rogers. Generally speaking my view of customer service is that if I am going to pay you my hard earned money, then I would like prompt and professional service in return. I believe that when you make a commitment you should follow-through on it. It is clear that Rogers is either extremely busy or they didn't want my business. Either way my money went to another company - Metzgers. See my review of their wonderful service by looking them up. I was not impressed with Rogers' follow-through in any way. In my opinion the customer should not have to contact the business over and over again to get service. I stuck with it for longer than I should have because I received the referral from someone whose opinion I trust. However, in the end I would never call Rogers again. read more

My AC broke, such a bummer. Called Rogers, they sent tech "Scott" out within an hour. He was super polite, easy to talk to, nice smile. He knew exactly what the problem was, very knowledgeable. PART WAS ON THE TRUCK! No contact COVID 19 service! I was charged for a service call, labor and the part which I knew in advance, I feel I got a fair price and great service. The phone receptionist was super polite and nice as well. Overall I had a great experience with Rogers. Wouldn't hesitate to call again or recommend to a friend. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband called to schedule the annual inspection needed to keep the warranty on the new furnace. He was told $80 on the phone. However, the bill was $109. When he called to get this fixed, they argued with him on the phone. We are done with this company. When the furnace was installed, the second inspection showed a significant leak, and needed fixed. When the city township came to inspect as is required in my area, it was not fixed. Problem after problem, and now false information about cost of services. It was made worse by the argumentative people on the phone. Too bad the hubby already wrote the check. We are still trying to resolve the $29 difference. read more

Had a new boiler installed.Spared no expense;top of the line everything.When it finally got cold my house would only heat to 66 degrees.Rogers final answer was the carpet is to long.The 30 year old boiler would heat the house to 80 if that's where I set the thermostat.I had a new boiler installed because of fuel efficiency and to upgrade the house in general. Advertise FREE QUOTE/ESTIMATES on their website. Called to have this done. Next day, technician disassembled my furnace without my approval and no quote even offered. After finding out the part was a HUGE rip-off, I declined having them repair it. So, in revenge he throws an $89 "Diagnosis Fee" bill in front of me. HA! On top of all this rude behavior and intimidation to pay an undisclosed fee from, he had taken my Propane gas line apart and left the pipe open with only a leaking shut-off valve to keep my house and family from being intoxicated with propane gas! Or blown-up! This caused a huge headache, literally, from the smell coming from the gas line. If I could leave ZERO STARS, like the other review, I would. I have since filed a complaint with the BBB.
