On this visit, 7/18/26, it was one of my worst at any restaurant. They burnt my pizza, sausage cheese and garlic, it came out as if I ordered blacken. I told and showed the waitress it was burnt and said to even eat this I'll need ranch dressing. So the manager sent dressing cups no charge. So I had to pay for a burnt pizza and said this again to the waitress and asked he didn't comp the pizza, nope just the dressing cups. A shame I never had this happen there. They always been good service and food. Giant disappointment. On top of that my daughter and her family joined us and both checks were wrong. Food and drinks were all over the place. Beware of their tipping scam. Had automatic 20% gratuity added on to our bills. When mine came back, noticed it was significantly more than 20%: (31%...). Server and the manager both argued with me about the bill being correct. Finally the manager went to the "owner in the back", and he agreed with me. We got a table and ordered drinks but our server got a huge table and we had trouble getting her back to take our order. We ordered Fire Bar & Grill on DoorDash after a long flight into Chicago, and it was too late to drive somewhere. We ordered a variety of items such as Potato Skins, a Chicken Pita for my Dad, and a Chicken Tender Wrap for myself (with an order of soup). The food just wasn't very good! It wasn't the worst I've ever had, but I was shocked by the reviews claiming it was amazing. Definitely not what we got! The Potato Skins were dry, chalky and bland. Both the pita and wrap were also bland and dry. The soup was an unknown white soup with a gelatinous texture, not very appetizing. I'm giving 2 stars because I have had worse food and it could have been an off day, but I wouldn't order from here again. read more

I have been to Fire Bar a few times now. The bar is nicely decorated, there is an ample bar area and I found that both the bartenders were friendly and attentive. The watermelon margarita with watermelon purée was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced at $8.00. Last night their special was a steak or chicken kebab which was very good and the rice had the perfect amount of seasoning. I will definitely be back (and definitely for their watermelon margarita). read more

When we got there we didn't have a room and were on the bar. Would have been ok but we had presentations, games and conversations that needed a private room that they had promised. I've had enough - I've eaten here dozens of times because my wife likes one specific thing on the menu and never strays. We use DoorDash exclusively. I've had several items on this menu, fishing for something, anything I might like, from Pizza to meatball apps, to Potato skins, cheese sticks, shrimp, chicken, burgers, etc, and all of it is just... not very appetizing. Potato skins have always been VERY well done / borderline burned and almost too hard to chew, Fries are often soggy and soaking with grease, when they aren't, they are cold and hard. Cheese sticks are never melted, and the coating is..odd. Very thick and not in a good way. Their dipping sauce / Pizza sauce is not good. Chicken is deep-fried to death, always tough and dry. Shrimp has been inconsistent. I had it once and was like FINALLY something I can eat! The next time? it was Hard as rocks. Same with the 3 meatball app with vodka sauce - Sometimes it's ok, other times its a mess. The burgers are tasteless and bland. These things are void of salt? pepper? char? I mean anything would be an improvement. These are pale, undercooked tasteless burgers. I got the BEC last night, and the egg that came on it was raw inside of a paper-thin white casing. Lots of clear white liquid soaking the whole thing, coupled with the undercooked meat? I tossed it halfway through - and I'm a burger lover, I couldn't get through half of it, and I was hungry. Step up your food game, guys. You are wildly popular. I live within eyeshot of the place, and it's always packed. I know it's just "bar food" but you gotta do better. This place is in "our neighborhood" and has always been a favorite that I've probably always taken for granted. We went tonight for a fundraiser for a little boy named Levi. From the time we placed our order via phone for carry out to the time I walked out the door with my food, all employees were friendly & happy. Everything we got was delicious and enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow! Potato skins, chicken kabobs (my favorite go to) & the grilled chicken sandwich were so good & tender - cooked to perfection! I especially loved the fact that the flyer for Levi was enclosed with our package of food. Love that this favorite neighborhood restaurant is supporting this little boy. I wish I could give 3.5 stars but can't do I went with 4 because of the service. We came today as we needed to be out of our house for a while and we went with the Santa Fe Egg Rolls and two Smothered Chicken Burritos. The Santa Fe Egg Rolls are delicious and I would give them 4 stars; they were really good but not amazing. The burrito was good but not great; compared to their pizza the burrito takes a distant second place (I have only had those two meals). I like their revolving menu for drinks: today was Absolute Mixers for $5 each. I'm not a huge Vodka fan (prefer whiskey, especially bourbon) but they were reasonable in price. Server (Nicholas) was really personable, attentive, and made good recommendations. My wife doesn't love this place but I like it a lot: lots of TV with sports, good food, solid drinks, and very good service. Walked in there with my family of four, my wonderful wife, my 4 year old son and my 15 year old son. Sat us down which seemed to be a table that is entirely too small for a family of four. We started the night off with some nachos and 3 cherry cokes for my older son, my wife and myself. Then we ordered an appetizer, the "loaded" nachos, where it said in the description of the product (add steak for 4 dollars or add chicken for 3 dollars) ok then, well surely the LOADED nacho platter comes LOADED right? Nah, wrong, does not come with ground beef, has everything else, guacamole, cheese, tomato, you know what I mean, but meat? I guess that's not part of the LOADED description of the nachos, no ground beef, if you want any sort of meat, you need to add 4 or 3 dollars for chicken or steak. Which in my opinion, is insane when you call something loaded lol, it should come with ground beef, with the option of upgrading to steak or chicken. To top it all off adding steak is almost half the cost of what the nachos cost which also makes zero sense to me either. Let's get to the main entrees, my wife and me got burgers, my son a chicken sandwich and my 4 year old son some chicken tenders. The food I have nothing to complain about, fries were good, burgers were damn good I have to say, and my son's chicken sandwich was eaten in about 3 minutes so I have to figure he liked the chicken sandwich. We had dipping sauces with my son's chicken tenders, they offered barbecue sauce, ranch and honey mustard... HERE IS THE ABSURD PART ABOUT THIS!!!!!! ***** THEY CHARGE YOU FOR EACH DIPPING SAUCE***** .75 cents for each measly cup of dipping sauce you get from them. WOW what an insult to the customers of this place. My 4 year old wanted one of each of the sauces, that is not too much to ask for spending 90 dollars at a restaurant, NOPE NOT MUCH AT ALL TO ASK FOR 3 DIPPING SAUCES, NO NO NO, THEY HAVE TO CHARGE YOU FOR EACH CUP YOU ASK FOR, HOW PETTY CAN YOU BE? WHAT WORLD DO WE LIVE IN? when you get chicken tenders, the dipping sauces are required, they are something you expect, AND YOU CHARGE FOR EACH ONE LMAO..... LIKE SPENDING 90 DOLLARS ISNT ENOUGH, YOU HAVE TO NICKEL AND DIME YOUR CUSTOMERS TO WHERE THEY DONT COME BACK.... The service, was less than sub par, long wait times, no napkins or utensils given to us with our food, refills took a long time, AND THE NICKEL AND DIME BUSINESS APPROACH IS LONG OUTDATED AND WRONG. We will not be coming back ever, you can keep your sauces for 75 cents a piece that are required for chicken tenders.... First and last time we come there. So I am cashing out with my credit card and signing the tab while waiting for my uber and look at the total thinking one or two drinks missing from the total but not sure with the specials, and when another bar tender collects the bill I see him go up to the server and then the original server comes up to me and says that my credit card didnt athorize the total needed. I asked did it not authorize the total or did you not enter the correct amount and she replies oh it is your card that is the problem; I then run the additional amount and it goes through, so I ask again what did you enter and she replied the correct amount, so I asked why the receipt showed the amount authorized and requested, she tried to tell me it is your card that is the problem. I replied really so it is my fault not your error. The card went through for the extra charges so I asked why was that? Don't blame the customer for your mistake. read more

They gave me 1000 Island dressing instead of the Italian it is supposed to have. We ordered the large order of steak/chicken kabobs with rice and it was HUGE!! (see photo). The meat was so tender and well seasoned. I also really like their wraps.
