We stopped in on a Tuesday for tacos. We ordered appetizers as well. Our server, Jordan, was super friendly and quick. It was taco Tuesday and they were out of steak and we settled for beef. Our tacos came out and we were told that there were about limes and they were also out of salsa. I asked for a lemon, and they were out of those as well. Whoever is in charge or ordering is definitely slacking. A bar that is out of limes and lemons? No salsa on Taco Tuesday? Yesterday, July 16, 2025, my aunt and I tried to go to short stack across the street. Apparently they had closed a couple of days earlier so we walked south to a restaurant at the corner which we're closed and finally after seeing one more clothes, we open the door to Bullseye that said that they open at 11. It was 10:58 AM. We inquired if that meant for meals or just pub service and they told us the kitchen usually opens at four, but since we were there, they would open the kitchen for us and serve us. My aunt and I ordered cheeseburgers and fries and my son ordered the kids meal sliders. I was a little surprised at the kids meal did not come with french fries but I had so many on my plate. I shared with my son. Our burgers, including the sliders were all hand-formed patties, that tasted amazing on brioche buns. We asked for the fries to be a little crispy and they were just perfect. Thank you for taking care of us as well as you did. If I didn't live 70 miles away, I definitely go more often. read more

The bar itself is nothing extreme--pretty average overall. I liked that they had karaoke on Saturday night; it gave the place a fun, local vibe. It's your typical neighborhood bar with a mix of regulars. That said, a word of warning: if you're ordering shots, ask the price beforehand. I was shocked to get a bill for $400 worth of shots. Then, to make things worse, three days later they charged my card again--another $638 for the same tab they had already run on Saturday. I tried calling them four times to resolve the issue, but couldn't get anyone to answer. Personally, I wouldn't go back. Spending that kind of money for a simple date night just doesn't fit into most people's budgets. read more

Do not go there unless you want to be blindsided by some of the prices. Make sure you ask how much every drink is before you order it. We were not offered a drink menu with prices and the beers listed on tap are up on a chalkboard with no prices listed. We expected the prices to be comparable to most other area establishments but do not expect the prices to be reasonable or fair. My party went there today and ended up being charged $12.50 a pint for a local brewery core beer. Nothing unique or special. The $50 for four beers bill was a shock as this place is a townie bar with no other establishment in th area charging near that much for a pint of good beer. We should have driven 10-15 more minutes up the street to get one at the brewery that makes it for $8.50 a pint. It still would have been much less expensive even with the price of gas these days and it would have been a better atmosphere too. read more

We stumbled on this place for lunch after another restaurant wasn't open for lunch. This place has a bar area and gaming area. Our server Daniel was absolutely excellent. He was very attentive and brought us refills on our diet cokes and was always checking on us. The hamburgers were very good. The Black & Blue burger, pulled pork sandwich, boneless wings were also very good! The sides offered were tots and fries. Great service and wonderful food! We will be back! read more

I have never felt more uncomfortable at a bar in my life. I went for karaoke and was publicly called out by the host for "yelling," to the point that I ended up in tears. While I was trying to talk to them about it, another patron came up and screamed in my face, telling me to leave. NEVER again will i go in this place. Ive never been screamed at in my life by a bartender. My husband and I used to come in to play darts. We had friends visiting over the weekend and we came in Saturday to play some darts and have a few drinks. My friend ordered a drink and i ordered a water because I was not sure what I wanted yet and the bartender screamed at my face at the bar saying she wont serve me. Shes said shes been doing this for 25 years and know when someone's drunk. I wasn't even drinking before. Was not causing a scene. I was just standing there. She then went to the backroom and saw my husband ordered a bucket of beers for our friends and she started screaming at him for serving me. I am 33 years old and was nothing but polite to her. She then yelled at my husband if he's been drinking, he politely said yes, I'm 33 years old, this is a bar is it not and we all walked here because we live down the street. She had some issue with me. Even regulars came up to me saying i did nothing wrong and it was rude of her to attack my character like that. Just a trashy bartender that I've never seen there before. If she really hates her job that much, work somewhere else, but dont attack me when I did absolutely nothing wrong. read more

Let me start by saying I don't care for the drinks, but the wings are so good. The best drink they had was the boozy root beer float. I would go back for the wings and the boozy root beer. The wings are nice and crispy. I got boneless. The staff was super friendly. I went during the day of 4th of July and it was dead. Ok I don't like to post bad reviews but. Here it goes. The staff 4/5. The food 1/5. So we order nachos, 3 flavors of wings 6 of each , tots, sliders, and flat bread of some sort. The food came out and no nachos. They took a lot longer. They also came on a small plate over flowing so they fell on the table. And we're not great. Just eh. The wings. We're on point. We had bbq it was good the butter buffalo was much better to me the then buffalo that was to hot. The flat bread was way to spicy thy was our fault. The bbq slider were not edible. They came out burnt. And dry. Probably won't go back. But you may have a different experience. Forgot to photo the nachos it was my meal and every one was kinda done when it came out. read more

I decided to give Bullseye a shot after a long day at work, as it wasn't too crowded and I was craving wings. Some of the people sitting at the bar were so vulgar that most places would have kicked them out. It was to my surprise that I eventually realized they were off-duty employees although I only caught the name of Scotty; the most charming of the bunch. He was so drunk and high (his words) that he thought it was a good idea to talk about how he got Covid from the female employee next to him. I'm not sure how he got on the topic but he also jokingly started talking about HIV, herpes, and syphilis, all as a follow-up to "we gave each other Covid". The on-duty bartender didn't do anything but serve her coworkers up with more discounted shots, while the off-duty bartender "apologized" I had to hear their conversation. She didn't apologize to the family with children sitting behind us, but here's a thought, maybe don't have these kinds of conversations at all? Scotty got behind the bar to fill ice and toss some things around, including a rag he almost got onto my plate. Eventually his co-workers told him to stay out of the bar, and the register, and go home. All in all, pretty trashy establishment being run by people that belong in a 4 a.m. dive bar. Given their public behavior, I can't imagine what they say and do when customers aren't around. read more

Wow, unbelievable treatment. I don't think I will be be back for karaoke EVER! Whoever owns this place needs to sit down and have a talk with bartender NICOLE HJERPE on how to behave. I tipped her 15% on a $4 tab because I only had one drink, a margarita I told them to make with the least expensive tequila possible because I'm a broke college student on a budget. So anyone who can do math knows 15% of $4 is 60 cents, which is what I tipped. The next day she tracks me down at another bar, tells me rudely I DON'T WANT YOUR 50 CENT TIPS and demands $2. Ordered a delivery of wings and chicken quesadilla and was quite disappointed with the food especially the wings. They were undercooked and lacked flavor and sauce. So far best wings are at Draft Picks and these have a long way to go. Won't be coming back to this place again. read more

Came here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. This downtown Main Street strip was closed and torn up for over a year. It was nice to see some new businesses open let alone the street. Before we came in I had my daughter do a quick search for Bullseye for specials as well as reviews since I was driving. I tend to look at star rating on Yelp before going into a new place. My daughter (which I found out later) looked at Google rating where it had an average of 4 out of 5 and not Yelp's. The bartender girl seemed new but very polite and was attentive. The special of the day was buy one entree get the other half off and $4 kids meals. I ordered a mushroom Swiss medium rare. My one daughter the kids twin sliders and the other daughter full size (not kid) Mac n cheese. What was brought out was all on square plates. Now I HATE being served on square plates. Food falls off easily and it's harder to get around your food especially if there's various types of food. Plus the trick is it make it like you're getting a lot of food than the same portions on a round plate. But, I'm not giving low stars for square plates, just pointing out the fact. My burger had a total of six and a half mushrooms on it. Yep, I counted them. And, even worse was made well done!! It was dry and actually crumbling. I found no point in sending it back, we hadn't eaten all day and I wanted to get home and I figured anyone who is cooking a medium rare burger and comes out well most likely wouldn't do it right the second time. So, I considered it a lesson learned. I did tell our server it was over cooked and she apologized. I thought maybe she would ask to re-do it, say "I'll speak to the kitchen" or offer to take it off the bill. I sensed she was young and inexperienced. My daughters sliders looked like two mini sausage breakfast patties and was way over cooked. I realize those things are thin but these were just short of crunchy. The Tracks in Cary's sliders which you can get a bucket of are moist and flavorful. She barley ate the one and left the second. My daughter's Mac n cheese were spiral noodles. Visually it looked good with a decent portion of Colby but had that liquid queso cheese in it. She said it was bland and sort of tasteless. Back to my burger I asked the bartender who was serving us for a side of mayo figuring it'll enhance the lettuce and tomato. She came back and apologized they were out due to the holidays and ordering not being done because of that. She asked if there was anything else I could use. I asked for Dijon mustard fighting it'd give some bit of flavor to the dry patty. She went to check and they had none. Thank god for Heinz ketchup. It's what game the burger something of flavor. I realize this is a new place and they're perhaps finding their way. Hopefully reviews like this will shake up the management. With a business like this there's so much competition especially with Cattleman's on the strip. Reviews like mine as well as others on here should be considered otherwise they'll end up out of business. If this is read by the owner I suggest visiting the Donkey Inn up on Algonquin Rd who has been there maybe a year and to take notes. Their burgers are always cooked to perfection with generous portions of toppings (in this case mushrooms). I even like their pizza which is hard to please me out in the burbs here being I grew up in Chicago's north side with a lot of Italian family pizzerias. Depending on reviews or if it's still open in a year I may give this place another shot in hopes they'll get it right. read more

Came here on a Monday night Bingo and it was honestly a lot of fun. The wings were good and they had great apps for happy hour. I didn't think the service was bad but we were there for a long time so maybe the weekends are different. I loved their Buffalo sauce for their wings. We went here for a relaxing afternoon early evening drink and some food. The service was off putting and because we were different, it felt as though we were treated as such. My wife's beer was warm and our food was something seen in a college bar. I got the french bread pizza which was nothing more than Ragu pasta sauce on a Turano sandwich roll and sausage that was flavorless. My wife got the boneless wings, they came out looking like Swedish meatballs and the meat was grey... she got 6 of them and didn't finish them because they were not very appetizing. When it was time for the check, the bar tender (she was server as well) was on her cell phone taking calls and texting. It appears her friends were sitting at the bar as well which reduced the attentiveness of her service. She never asked us how our food was and brought us the check and just tossed it on the table and hurried away turning her back on us. There was some man sitting at the the bar taking up 3 seats and using a Laptop making it impossible to sit at the bar and it gave off a very unprofessional feel as it looked as though he worked there at some capacity. Needless to say, we will not be going back there and won't be recommending it either. :( read more

Have been here a couple of times and really love it. The staff could not be more accommodating. The dart boards are awesome and it really is a ton of fun. An impromptu dart tournament started up the first night we went there and we had a blast. So happy we have a place like this in Algonquin. The food is solid and a bit more healthy than the typical pub food, as they use an air fryer. Will definitely continue to visit! read more

Bullseye Pub and Eatery is a welcome addition to the area and my wife and I were eager to visit. It's a nice looking pub with a large bar and a back room filled with nice Dart boards. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere but the food and service were a bit off. My wife ordered a Hamburger - their Bullseye club burger. Unfortunately she received the Bullseye chicken club sandwich. One might consider that an easy mistake to make because they have common names but she had pointed to the burger on the menu when ordering and did specifically state, "This hamburger". We didn't ask to correct it when delivered because the time for the food to be prepared and delivered seemed long. She also got Tater Tots with the sandwich. These were not fully cooked and were at room temperature through and through. Although the wrong sandwich, my wife did say that it was good quality. I had a Pizza Supreme that was unremarkable. I'd describe it as on par with a mid-grade frozen pizza. It wasn't cooked fully so the crust wasn't wholly done. Cheese on top was melted but the sausage on top was luke-warm. Another service issue was my beer order. I ordered a 16 oz beer and was given a 22 oz. The bartender delivered it without stopping or pausing so I didn't get an opportunity to explain the error. I left a half full glass on the bar when we left but paid for the large portion. The Bullseye Pub & Eatery has promise. We'll visit again after they've had more time to work out their service issues. read more

As a nearby resident we decided that we wanted to support our local restaurant/bar in the downtown area of Algonquin. When we walked in the place looked awesome. Cool decor great atmosphere and busy. All good signs. Our server was prompt to the table and took our drink order and returned promptly. We started talking with her and she very politely said "I would like to talk more but I'm the only one here and I have a few more orders I need to fill." I watched her run her ass off for the next 30 minutes all by herself dealing with well over 30 customers. Unfortunately she never returned to our table. Not her fault just poor scheduling by management. I reviewed other Yelp posts and see this is an ongoing issue with the owner. Tonight was our second attempt at this restaurant. I want to start by stating I love downtown Algonquin and the restaurant scene. I want this to be a total success. This pub has all the earmarks of a fun place but tonight was our second attempt to eat here. We ordered burgers the first time when we were the only people there and they were completely overcooked for med rare. Our second attempt - husbands burger not only overcooked but the bun was burnt. My pizza was tasty - for the one slice that wasn't overcooked. Beer selection is interesting - you can find a nice selection. But drafts are not very cold. I will say the waitress was understanding and comped our food when she saw how burnt it was. I hope management takes heed - they have a great idea here and I'd love to give it another chance.
