I absolutely love texas bbq and qas excited to try this place!! So its a saturday and this places was packed so one assume the smoke would be rolling off the cookers however a motorcycle parked immediately in for of one pit and a trailer about 3 ft off the pit would be on and that tAll of the meats were marginal at best brisket and pulled pork tasted as though it was baked in the oven and then finished in a crock pot briaket was soggy with absolutely no smoke. Sausage was echrich off the shelf at walmart!!! I will say the sauce was good which it has to be to flavor the bland meat. Pickets were alao good. Almost every review I've read has raved about this place (actually this food truck), so I had to try it. I'm glad I did. It was beyond belief, especially for the price. We had a family dinner coming up and wanted to do smoked meat, but were just arriving back in town ourselves, and didn't have time to do it ourselves. I'd seen the menu, so I called and ordered "The Pit Master" in order to have enough food for everyone. For $65 you get one pound each of brisket, chicken, ribs, and pulled pork. You get hot links. You get 2 pounds of the side of the day, barbecue sauce (which had a zing to it), peppers, and pickles. Here's the thing--it was REALLY good meat! We fed eight adults and 2 kids and had enough meat left over for 3 more meals for my wife and me. How do they do it? I don't know but I hope they keep it up. This could be a life saver for anyone looking to serve great smoked meat to a good-sized group for an unbelievable price. Find them. Call them. Order. And be prepared to enjoy a feast. read more

I was at a chucky cheese, as soon as I stepped out I smelled BBQ and I was like "where is this coming from" I followed the smell and I found this BBQ truck! I approached it and the customer service is great! The cook is one cool dude and the cashier guy has great customer service. I tried this spot yesterday for a chopped beef sandwich and was really disappointed. I'm not sure if they just had an "off-day" or what, but the brisket sandwich certainly wasn't "tender" as described in their business description. What really puzzled me was the fact that before serving my sandwich they sprinkled some type of seasoning on the meat. The meat itself wasn't that flavorful, so I wonder if the flavor that was present came from whatever was sprinkled on it instead of from the initial seasoning and the smoking process. The sauce was served on the side, and it was good. There wasn't a line, so service was quick and very friendly. I'm not sure if I'll try them again. I really hope that this was a unique experience, because I'd like to see them succeed in that location. read more

I thought BBQ sounded like a good idea and reached out to a local restaurant for catering...but they had gone out of business! I was crushed! By this time, smoked meat was ALL I could think about, so I did a little bit of research online. It didn't take long to find Angel's yelp page. Christian BBQ? It felt like Kismet! I am so glad I went with my instinct. Angel was punctual, charged a very reasonable price, and kept my food warm until all of my guests arrived. I have been a customer for over 4 years. Most saturdays I would look for the smoker on the corner and know there were wonderful people selling wonderful food. And I was lucky enough to get some for my family before they sold out. Brisket is wonderful, pulled pork is phenomenal, and I really love the smoked chicken and Turkey legs. My dear sweet mother was a huge fan of Mr E's Turkey legs. Baked potatoes are fabulous. I just cannot say enough about how good their food is.
