This is a cute local yoga center. It is clearly visited by regulars and locals. It is an easy…read moredrop in studio. The people seem nice. However I visited two times. I can't review the actual instruction quality because to be fair, each experience is personal and it is really a reflection of your own ability to participate and your expectations. But I have to say as a small older building my first time was in the summer and the air conditioner was turned on or up at the beginning of the session not leaving enough time to acclimate the room before we started and there was a gym odor in the warm room most of the time during the class so I felt as if it was not particularly conducive to a calming yoga experience where sound and smell are an important part. My second visit in the fall the room was cool and comfortable but it was a more intense combo class so attendees did work up a sweat and the room became humid and again, it was not a pleasant environment. Maybe they should have turned on a fan to stir the air. This is my pet peeve that gyms or exercise facilities should smell as though it is cleaned regularly which includes washing the equipment regularly and wiping down surfaces used by customers. I do bring my own matt and blocks and bands where I can rather than complain but weights are needed in some of their classes and you have no choice to use them. All in all, they have been there for quite some time because they are convenient and familiar and I might return for those reasons. Last word, the instructors were nice and supportive.

As an instructor at Yogaholic, I can tell you the students are a great source of inspiration, they are dedicated to their practice and everyone here is super easy going and fun to be around. The owner, Diane, is supportive of the teachers and students. It's a fun and safe place to learn yoga, no matter what level yogi you are.

My experience has been tremendously more than I could have ever imagined…read more It is an experience that any person of any age can benefit from. Gina accommodates all practice levels. From beginning and beyond. Her guidance, support along with the teachings of not just physical yoga, but for your spiritual sense is incredible. She is who you want to learn from if you are looking to create peace inside & strength on the outside. Her classes are always new & fresh. I feel her prices are reasonable, especially if you just want to try it out & not commit to a membership. I've been at it for 5 months now, and I'm so glad I gave it a try.

I have been to a number of yoga studios and continue to practice at several (including Bearfoot)…read moredepending on time, availability and instructor. I have only taken classes with Gina so far, so I have a limited amount of experience with the studio's offerings, but from what I have seen I can say that Bearfoot offers solid classes for beginner and intermediate yogis. Gina's classes are slow and controlled with good explanations of alignment and balance. She strongly encourages the use of props in the correct manner - level 1 and 2 classes include bolsters, blankets and blocks. Do not expect to get overheated and sweat it out at Bearfoot - temperatures are kept at the comfortable level (something I like) and classes are set at a slower pace than most other vinyasa practices (something I like sometimes). The other thing you get with Gina's practices is a longish talk regarding her personal insights, some stuff about astrology, shamanism, and the various spiritual aspects of yoga. The latter stuff is certainly not my cup of tea, but you may feel differently - her classes are full, so apparently many people do!
