I woke up with a pulled neck/shoulder on this rainy Saturday morning and was desperate for a massage. After calling a place in town that was all booked up, I came across Sinequanon on yelp. I saw the $60 for $85 deal and called Christine right away to book an appointment. This intimate little boutique is definitely a hidden gem in town. Right away the place is very clean and inviting. I got a deep tissue massage from Christine and she was very thorough from her questions regarding injuries and allergies to the actual massage experience. I can say that I am super relaxed and my neck is no longer in pain :) I also enjoyed the light scents of her oils because I have a very sensitive nose. When I let her know that I really enjoyed the oil scents, she proceeded to tell me that they're all natural and that's why the smell isn't overwhelming. Overall, an excellent experience! read more

I recently received a massage from Christine at Sinequanon Spa. Even though I am a massage therapist myself I do need to get my own massages. The spa is located in a quite street near the center of town. I had no problem finding parking. The spa is very tastefully decorated. Christine has a very pleasant personality, is very professional. and the massage I got was one of the best I ever got. I like her use of Bamboo stick during the massage. My back, shoulders and neck are pretty much always stiff and tense, but after a deep tissue massage, I can move them quite fluidly and I feel great. Hidden Gem! I went to Christine for massages after a car accident. The massages provided relief and Christine went above and beyond to instruct me on exercises and stretches that I can do to prolong relief and alleviate pain. I really wanted to give this place a 5 star review like all the others. I had great expectations when I purchased the Groupon for my husband and I, especially considering it was for a deep tissue massage. To me it just was not deep tissue. It was more of a relaxing massage. I have a lot of knots and tense areas around my shoulder and neck and upper back that feel like rubber bands when they are rubbed. It really helps to work on those deeply, and I am not sure whether it's because of oils or what not but unless it's my husband who massages me at home without oils the massage is NEVER deep enough and the spot never gets a relief. It was no different here. They are very nice and accommodating people, and getting an appointment was easy and I was able to do it online. I also appreciated that she kept my arms forward, a position I am usually in when my husband massages me and that to me facilitates the finding and working of my tense spot. But I left there without much relief. And I am not the type that tells the person to go deeper or say in the end that I am unhappy...I wish I was so I could give constructive criticism and perhaps get what I am looking for. Anyway, the search continues for a massage place that can really deliver relief. read more

I have experienced many different types of massage over the years and she is the best by far in every way. She has created a beautiful, calming, comfortable environment, which allows for complete relaxation. She applies herself to the specific needs of her clients and knows how to achieve the desired results. I have been seeing her for medical massage to address injuries sustained in an automobile accident, and her treatments have enabled me to get through a very devastating physical and psychological trauma. Her massages have calmed my nervous system, relaxed trigger points and tight cramped muscles that have plagued me for years, and she is so well trained in so many different techniques, that she can address whatever is the problem at any given time.
