Can't say I even got to experience their food but the lack of service sent me elsewhere. I was going to try it for the first time, and let me first say that having to drive all the way around to the back of the shopping center is silly. How pretentious can you be? Then I finally find their entrance and sign, and park my car. The place looks closed up, from the outside. I almost hesitated there in the parking lot, and probably should have. I walked up to the door and surprisingly it was open. Then I walked in and assessed the place. Looked like it had a nice atmosphere, and at first glance was eager to try their food. No one was there at the host area and I was not greeted by anyone. I waited for several more minutes. No one passed by the front area or made any effort to greet me or seat me. Continued to wait, for over 5 minutes. I think at some point a staff member looked toward me but made no effort to engage me or apologize or anything. I had brought my appetite and had no desire to continue to wait. So I turned around, walked out, and found somewhere else to get my meal. read more

It was a bit difficult to find as the entrance is on the back side of a large shopping center but so glad we did! Staff was so friendly and we even got to speak to the owner for a bit. This place is incredible. Upon walking in we found the atmosphere very inviting. It was very busy but the wait was not long at all. Looking at the drink menu first you will imediately notice the beer selection is awesome! Great beers on tap and extensive bottle collection. Looking at the wine menu the prices were very affordable and a good list. Ok now let's get to the part that is making my mouth water as I type, the pizza. We ordered "the Rudy" and when it hit the table it was almost too hot to touch. I couldn't wait to dig in so my fingers are a little tender today. The pizza was insane! The mushrooms had the most incredible flavor, way different than you get from a chain like pizza hut. That pizza was gone and the other one we ordered had time to cool a little so my fingers were relieved. The pepperoni and bacon pizza was perfect. Tons of cheese and don't even get me started on the crust (it will make this review ten pages long). I wish we had saved room for the smore calzone, sounds damn good! I am a masochist. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it is someone who gets their jollies from their own pain or humiliation. In my case it is the humiliation aspect. I used to pay hundreds of dollars to a dominatrix to yell at me and tell me how I am worthless and the scum of the earth. Sadly it got to expensive and I had to stop going to her. Luckily I found Fire Slice Pizza. I can go in and be ignored for what seems like hours. I can also order food and when the wrong food is brought to the table I can have the staff berate me and tell me how wrong I am. If I am really looking for some punishment I will send my flat beer from the bottom of the keg back and ask for one that is fresh and have the waitress lose her shit on me and tell me that it isn't a flat, stale beer. The best part is when you send the wrong food back and your waitress goes and gets the owner to come and yell at you. I do feel sorry for those who don't share my joy of humiliation and degradation because I imagine for them this place must suck balls. read more

OMG!!! Passing thru Amarillo from Colorado to College Station. Looked on Yelp and Fire Slice had a 4 1/2 star rating so we thought we'd try something other than Pizza Hut. SO GLAD WE DID!! Best pizza I've ever had. Highly recommend the Goodfellow, lots of meat and so good. Also had a Caesar salad which was awesome. The pizza here was amazing. I ordered using the Yelp app and it was delivered much quicker than the estimate they gave me. I got the spinach and artichoke dip, which was ok, and the mushroom and thyme pizza, which was outstanding! The crust was that perfect wood-fired crunchy crust.
