I've ordered food here multiple times and every time it has been really good. I'm definitely going to keep ordering from this place.

Had lunch there yesterday. 8 piece Bone-in and Garlic fries combo. There wasn't any chicken on the wings. The wings were insanely small. I feel like for $16 there would be a little actual chicken but it was not worth the money at all. I will not be going back. The other person I was having lunch with had the same issue with his wings, so I don't think I am the only outlier. I gave them 2 starts for the Garlic fries. That is the only thing that filled me up after eating the 8 piece "wings". What a disappointment and rip off! read more

The wings here are good but the customer service is lacking for some reason we call to place an order and they said they don't take orders over the phone and you have to come in and order or order online only. Been a few years since my first review when they opened and finally had the opportunity to try them again. Ordered a 6 pc Malaysian curry with jalapeno poppers. The curry is a rub and was so good! I would definitely get those again. I traded for one of my coworkers dragon wings, not spicy at all... swee sweet. I liked how crispy the wings were. The jalapeno poppers are cream cheese inside, which I prefer. I feel like most places do cheddar now. We ordered via door dash and this could have been a 5 star review, but I knocked 2 off for lack of attention. 3 of us ordered a 6 pc combo... all 3 combos had only 5 wings. We had an order the 4th of July that would be ready for pick up at 4pm, my brother arrives for pick up right at 4 as instructed, but they were closed!! It was a really huge let down for our party and that there wasn't any notice of that they'd be closed that early or simply not to accept our order in the first instance place! Very unacceptable and disappointing service after already spending hundreds of dollars for our order, and we expect to get a full refund for this unacceptable inconvenience and terrible customer service after all this trouble! Every time I trying calling after 8:30pm they never answer and I'm having to take time out of my day to go in person to order when I could've order through the phone. It's never busy so I don't understand why no staff can pick up the phone. On another note if they're closing at 9pm and the place says 10pm there's no reason to be closing so early. So I came to the place at 9:46 and she said they were stopped taking order at 9:45. Put you close at 9:30 if your not going to take customers till you close at 10pm. Service is not great which sucks because you could have way more customers if you would bump that up. read more

To the employees defense, none of them really know what is going on. It feels like the owner neglected them, and has just left them to figure it out. The temperature of the food is never right, ALWAYS COLD. We have been going there since opening and every single time we spend over $50 and hope the food comes out at least WARM. Who wants cold fries? Or cold wings? Why would be spend so much money for horrible food! I'll start off by stating that I am no stranger to Fire Wings. I have tried their other locations in Sacramento and fell in love with the food. So when I found out that they were opening in Turlock, I knew I had to come and try it. I came on the first day it was open and right off the back, they had a line out the door. Even though they were packed, the staff were nice and friendly. I could tell that they were still in training since there was someone there guiding and teaching them. Even so, the staff was able to take my order promptly and my order came out not long after. I ordered the bone in "korean kick" and the "Salt n' pepper". I also got the boneless "Sriracha". The chicken was very moist and tender. The Sriracha was pretty spicy and delicious. THe Korean Kick, was Sweat with a tinge of Spice, and the Salt n' Pepper was exactly how it sounds. It was perfect with a cup of cold beer. I would definitely be coming back here, epecially after classes or just because! Once again the love of my life and I went on a hot wing quest..I myself tried the Nashville Fire crispy sandwich. The young man suggested I try the extra hot for more flavor, man..the flavor on this sandwich did not disappoint ‼it comes with pickles,coleslaw, and sauce. From my first bite I was hooked, the flavors were all over the place. The "extra heat" is misleading, it wasn't too hot but the flavors are amazing. My love had a split order of wings with four regular buffalo sauce, four lemon pepper. I tried a lemon pepper and it was tasty, no excess grease, just flavor. I was told the buffalo sauce was ok, I did not try it but was offered. I'm giving this review 41/2 stars..in all honesty it would be five star however I ordered coleslaw and received fries. That being said the fries arrived hot and crispy ( non of that wilted potato shenanigans other places serve) I really wanted the coleslaw though.. The service was fantastic. My family and I (family of 5) arrived around 9:07 pm. First thing we were told by the young man at the register is that we could only order to go. We then asked where it states that and his response was that it doesn't state it anywhere it's just the rule. Keep in mind the restaurant closes at 10 and no where outside or inside was it posted that no more orders could be taken after a certain time. We asked for a manager and he went to the back then came out and spoke to a young girl who was sweeping. She told him we couldn't eat there and when I asked where it is posted she said there is a sticky note on the door. I looked outside and nothing, not even inside is it posted. We asked again to speak to a manager and he said that there wasn't a manager or in anyone in charge available. We kindly asked him to please take our order and that we would leave before 10 when the restaurant actually closes. They continued to go back and fourth with us and I began placing my order. We paid and the girl asked us to please be nice and only sit on of the 2 tables where the chairs were not on top (which we did). This conversation took about 8 minutes, in those 8 minutes the food could have been almost ready for us. Meaning we could have been eating sooner and left sooner. While we were eating around 9:40 they wrote on a sticky note and put it by the cash drawer. I have attached a picture of it and also of the same spot before the sticky note was placed. Anyways, it's not their fault they are young and I know they want to leave right at 10 but the owner definitely needs to post a sign and maybe also put it on google that no dine in orders can be taken after 9:00pm, although this is not proper customer service. As we walked out I thanked them and told them that the sign needs to be outside for everyone to see. She immediately locked the door behind me and it wasn't even 10 yet, it was 9:50. The car parked next to us left because they seen her lock the door and most likely thought they were closed. This is not good for the business, it's losing customers this way. A sign should be posted both on YELP and on the Fire Wings website that to go orders only during the last hour of posted business hours. Nice location... ordered the 10 wing meal deal. I had the mango habanero and Korean Fire with garlic fries. My husband had lemon pepper wings and garlic parm with garlic fries as well. We shared our wings and they were good... when you have the garlic parm and lemon pepper, you know what to expect... the Korean fire was not spicy but pleasant tasting. The mango habanero was warmer/spicy and good! The garlic fries were a little strange... they were soaked in butter... butter? We ate them but probably consumed 2000 calories in fries alone. In my opinion Firewings is the better restaurant compared to Wingstop. But not the better wing establishment. Firewings has great bone in and boneless wings. They also have a very good flavor selection with all kinds of random and fun flavors. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. The staff is friendly and responsive. Firewings doesn't just offer wings however, they have fantastic loaded fries, appetizers, salads, chicken sandwiches, regular fries, and salads. Firewings is a great place for all kinds of food. The wings are phenomenal. Cali Rub and Peking are my favorites. I find the teriyaki wings have too much sauce. The other item you have to get is the spicy noodles. It's a great side. I would give fire wings 5 stars but most of the sides are terrible. The tots are the worst I've ever had. Way too crispy. The Cole slaw had so much pepper in it I couldn't eat it. My nine year old son and I came here for a late lunch on a Saturday. We were the only ones here, which was nice. We were greeted right away and staff was friendly. We tried the 20 wing family pack. That came with fries, carrot sticks, celery sticks and two dips. For the wings, we got teriyaki, spicy Buffalo and Cajun spice, all boneless. The chicken was tender, but the wings were on the small side. My son loves the teriyaki (that was his pick). My favorite was the spicy Buffalo, but the Cajun spice was pretty good too. We had to ration the two sides of dip because they were pretty small. Fries were seasoned well and we got a lot of them. We had to take them home because we couldn't eat them all. They have a few beers on draft, two of my favorites, so that was good. Food came out pretty quick too. I'd like a change of music, but that's not a huge deal. Soda machine offers four different flavors to add to your soda. That was pretty cool. We enjoyed our time and our food. read more

I tried the lemon pepper rubbed wings and the Korean style with a side of veggies. The veggies consisted of celery and carrots and they were both crispy and fresh. I had the worst service I've ever experienced in my life. I ordered the bbq tender fries, after waiting about 30 minutes for my food, I realized I received buffalo instead. They "remade" my food, I finally got it after waiting another 45 minutes and watched a lot of people served before me just to get the same buffalo fries just with bbq drizzled on top. We have only ordered take out. Good always hot and ready. I do not like that the person who buys the food must pick up with ID. This is a major inconvenience especially if you want someone else to go. Lots of different flavors. I don't like that they do not label the flavors not do they really have food descriptions of the flavors. Good aides. Nice to have an option besides fries. Overall for wings I would recommend.
