My husband and I were in the mood for good BBQ, but all of our favorite places are closed on Wednesdays So, we did a Google search and Carnivore's BBQ Sandwiches appeared. The reviews were mixed so we decided to give them a try, and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the Big Kahuna sandwich (even though they were out of pineapple), and upgraded to a meal (adding an order of fries and a soda). The sandwich was stuffed with delicious BBQ pulled pork, bacon, and the Provolone had a great cheese pull. So tasty! The "individual" order of fries was enough to feed two people, filling the bottom of a paper bag, and had a very yummy seasoning salt (BBQ?). The person who helped us was very attentive and informative, and our food was freshly prepared and brought out to us within 5 minutes. I came across this place randomly while looking for BBQ places in the area and saw some great reviews! Had to give it a try on a random day and amazed to see their selection of sandwiches to choose from! Their menu is divided in easy-to-read subsections and showchase the different styles of sandwiches you could have. I am a sucker for tri-tip and hearing how this was one of the top favorites I knew I had to try it. I ordered the Tri-Tip French Dip Sandwich ($11.25) to-go. It was made pretty quickly and I was out within 10 minutes. After a 20 minute drive back home I come to see the whole product itself. A nice full sandwich full of tri-tip on a french roll with a cup of its signature jus. Unfortunately, I was not blown away. The tri-tip, although plentiful, was a bit dry. The sandwich was cold and the jus was not enough for the sandwich itself, which is the biggest downfall. In my photos provided, you can see how much sandwich I had left and au jus. I had to eat about 20% of the sandwich left with no dip and it was very dry and disheartening as the dish itself is meant to be dipped. Not sure if they are withholding dips or you have to ask for extra, but this was the minus for me in my experience. For the price it is actually pretty good, but if I was to come back I would probably add cheese to my sandwich and ask for extra au jus. Nevertheless, the service was fast and workers were friendly! I'd like to start off by saying this atmosphere is great! The second you walk in you're greeted and the acknowledgement is definitely there. I've told the guy who took my order (very nice guy) that I've never been here before, and I wasn't sure what to order. He gave me some great recommendations and I ended up going with the western pulled pork sandwich. (10/10 by the way). He even gave me options on which bbq flavor for the sandwich, they have clover honey bbq, bourbon bbq& even chipotle bbq! Very pleased with the options of bbq :) The sandwich was perfect in every aspect, The garlic fries were AMAZING, & the Mac was so cheesy and creamy!!! First time eating at Carnivore's- the food was unbelievably good! They were very helpful to us when ordering and they also gave us samples of the meat to try. I personally had the Mazzy Mayhem and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! The family also got the Turkey French Dip and thought that it was "very very good." The Turkey Club was also very good; it had a lot of lettuce- in fact, the person who got it said, "there's an entire salad on this sandwich!" The kid's corn dogs were really good, but he wished there were more of them or that they were bigger. However, the regular fry that came with the corn dogs is a decent size so that made up for it a little. Ordered multiple sandwiches after my kid's football game with the delivery option. First, the owner Richard was super friendly and flexible with great customer service. He carefully took down all orders and made sure to pack the fries in individual brown bags. The delivery was very smooth despite the fact that we moved our delivery time up by almost an hour! But most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious and I received a ton of compliments on place selection, food quality, and taste. Would literally give this place 0 stars if possible. Ordered a loaded pulled pork and a cali club sandwich. Was given a loaded Mac n cheese instead of the pulled pork sandwich by accident by the restaurant, which is no big deal at all! We immediately called and a gentleman worker said no big deal, to keep the Mac n cheese and come back for the pulled pork sandwich. My mother went to go get the sandwich, and was proceeded to be told by the owner, Teresa Sanchez, that we lied and ordered the Mac n cheese. Only thing is I would never order Mac n cheese because I'm lactose intolerant! She then proceeded to tell my mother to never come back. Absolutely disgusting customer service. I tried this place about 4 years ago and didn't care for anything I had. Today I was in the shopping center and decided to give it another shot. There was only one guy working, doing everything, and he was very nice and quick. I got the classic tri tip sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese. Everything was yummy, especially the bread on the sandwich. I also got the honey bbq sauce and specially requested horseradish (since I love it) and he found some for me.
