Came in for lunch and the food was amazing. The chicken was so fresh. I put my order through doordash about 1 hour before the restraunt was going to close, all.of a sudden the doordash website stated it was going to refund my money because fire wings stopped taking orders through doordash. I went on Firewings website and went to order online it gave me 2 options, order thru doordash which was not an option anymore or call the restraunt. I called the restraunt and the guy who answered the phone said they do not take orders over the phone. Im sorry but I'm not going to sit in your restraunt for an hour while my food is made. Well I have been here 2 times the wings (bone in) were pretty good. However I got to say there is a serious issue with getting food out at the same time not having my GFs food come out at the same time as mine but way later than mine not cool. I used to really enjoy fire wings until my last visit . I ordered garlic Parmesan wings which has been my go to flavor for a while . In my last visit I noticed that the chicken tasted a little off , it had a bad smell I assumed it was undercook . I put it in my air fryer hoping it would cook it but the smell was still there I ended up throwing it away . The service was terrible I went with a group a four people including myself and we three of us got our food in 30 mins but the fourth persons didn't receive her food until additional 25 minutes and when it came out and it was the wrong flavor which was buffalo and my friend is allergic to that. So we kindly asked for them to fix it and the First Lady said sorry but you can tell she had a attitude and it took another 30 minutes and when she looked it was the same thing with just some barbecue on top, so they basically sat there for 30 minutes just to pour bbq sauce on the order. When this place first opened we loved it. We would go all the time as it's close by college and the Food was great and service too. The Ambiance was good with fun music and good vibes and beer selection was decent. This last time we went, some girl named Leticia waited on us according to the receipt. She was kinda rude and when we asked her about our usual Stan state discount they had given us prior she gave us a lecture about that wasn't a thing and whoever was doing it was going to be talked to because they were never told about offering college students a discount. We took our food to go and after we went to eat our wings they were cold and hard smothered in a ton of sauce like they had been out for a while. It was really uncomfortable, and the food was not very good so we haven't been back since. Too bad too because at one time the food was really good and we really enjoyed it. So this is one of those businesses that ask for a tip before rendering service. Kind of against my personal policy, so I order and proceed with caution. Well, today confirmed why and I won't be back...Used to go to Fire Wings weekly, sometimes even more. Food has been great. Location convenient for us. BUT...the general culture of this place sucks. It seems like as a customer I am bothering them most of the time. Typically they're huddled up talking or texting and I'm 'interrupting' them as a customer. Yet strangely enough, 30-40% of the time my order is messed up. Is it because I'm not tipping? Or is it because of poor culture? Or both? Today I had to take back an order (after already coming home) because the wings were plain when I had ordered Cali Rub. The Fire Wings employee argued that what I had was actually Cali Rub (it wasn't) and asked if I wanted 'extra' seasoning. I said I wanted them like they're supposed to be. I wasn't rude, just matter of fact. When I got home with this order there was an obnoxious amount of seasoning on them. Very passive aggressive, middle-finger type service. Again, in my soul I know that I'm treated disrespectfully and that my orders are frequently wrong or inaccurate because of this 'pre-tip' system they have. I shouldn't have to give you a tip on the front end in order to get standard service. That should be provided to all customers and those customers should have the freedom to tip at their own will (without pressure or leverage) depending upon the service received. I have been to this place 2 times now. The first time was with family we had a large group and ordered quite a bit of food. We had not received a couple of items so i asked about them. They said they would bring them out. We waited 15 min nothing! So I went to ask again she rolled her eyes at me and said I was lying they gave us all our food.
