He took pictures of his trade, started to secure financing plans and even scheduled an appointment to go test drive and possibly buy. We are over an hour away from the dealership. He even considered taking a day off work to secure the deal if needed. This morning 2/21/25 he calls Diehl to finalize plans to see the truck and SURPRISE the truck is sold!!!!????? How could this possibly happen??? Was it even ever available???Why would they do this??? He was extremely disappointed!!! The sales manager had the audacity to try to sell him a different vehicle at the same price (a better deal for the dealer). To all thinking of buying from this dealership I would steer clear!!! Integrity and honesty are what we look for from car dealers. This dealer had none. It was a classic Bait n Switch!!! These dealers wonder why they are being cut out of the buying equation via platforms such as Carvana, CarGurus etc. ... At this point I was satisfied. Then 8 days later I found myself flying thru a red light and right into traffic The brake lines went out With my 7 yr old in the backseat I was livid But I do realize what AS IS means so I had them fixed Then 7 days later the car shut off in traffic Once again another scary ass situation I also received my title and noticed that there was about 1200$ in overcharges on my sales bill So I called Mike and after discussing everything he agreed to refund me $300. My vehicle at this point was broken down and I had to have a mobile mechanic come look at it I was told the vehicle needed a crankshift sensor replaced and there were 7 other codes showing and it was leaking antifreeze Mike is a nice guy but I'm wondering how a nice guy could be selling essential DEATH TRAPS I had the sensor replaced and the car still isn't starting All of this and I haven't even received my hard plates yet I am terrified to even drive this car after all of these incidents I asked Mike to swap me out a new vehicle He refused I have contacted my attorney But I feel that people should know the kinds of cars he is selling I wanted a car that was safe and reliable I got a scary "death trap" Buyer Beware!!!
