Before purchasing I noticed water in the glove compartment and asked Talal about it. He said it was cleaner from having the car detailed (the car has not been detailed) and an employee of his stuck his fingers in the water smelled them and said "lemon" Talal did the same and said "yes it's lemon". On the way off the lot I found a bad connection with the rear window controls in the driver seat, Talal looked at it and showed they worked from the back, and to call him Saturday to order the part. After an hour drive back to Akron I discovered that Talal's employee had slashed and scratched the window tint in both of the back windows attempting to remove adhesive after I purchased the vehicle likely with a razor blade. Last night at around 7:30 I was driving and noticed the check engine light had come on, after further inspecting the vehicle I noticed RAIN WATER WAS LEAKING IN THROUGH A PART OF THE UPHOLSTERY ON THE ROOF CONNECTING TO THE PASSENGER DOOR INTO THE AC VENT AND FILLING THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT! After calling this morning I spoke with Willy who told me he'd have Talal call me when he got in as he was the car owner. Talal called back promptly and after explaining the problems I've been having with the car he told me that I needed to bring it in Friday as that would be when he could have it worked on, adding "it's no problem". Talal told me he's been here 30 years from doing honest business when selling me the car. May update review at a later date.

I had visited other locations as well and never paid a dime for an oil change. Today, my Forrester was taken in for an oil change by my partner, and they said that they could not use my warranty because it "didn't include oil changes". I provided my warranty information (even though it's associated with my account and has always been) and they were prepared to process the oil change and charge me money, something that I am not required to pay under my warranty. I guess someone didn't want to do their due diligence and follow up with the other retailer or just didn't know how to do their job. Guess that's the unfortunate state of the workforce these days. It's unfortunate that this is the closest retailer to me, I'll now have to travel twice as far to the original retailer to get the service in the warranty I've purchased. Avoid.

I was given a quote and approved that amount, but when I picked up my vehicle, it was $1200 more than the estimate. I paid it because I needed my car, but had an attorney help me draft a letter and sent it certified mail requesting half of my money back. Under Ohio laws (OAC 109:4-3-13), automotive repair companies need approval before making repairs exceeding the initial quote. On the positive side, they did provide me a vehicle while my car was being repaired and did end up reimbursing half of my money. Then, 4 months later, the same diagnostic code came on my Jeep and I made an appointment at Kufleitner's, as the work has a 2 year warranty. They refused to even diagnose my Jeep and told me the work they did was not warranted. Again, which I don't believe they can do. They're upset because they did not follow the law and someone held them accountable. Throughout my life, I have purchased to date 7 Dodge-Jeep vehicles and have never had a negative experience from any other dealership. I ended up taking my Jeep to Jim Shorkey Dodge-Jeep. They made the repairs, as the parts were still under warranty. They were pleasant and great to work with. Next time, I will definitely go there, but will never go to Kufleitner's again.

We were told to give them two weeks and they would get it up in the garage and go over everything. It needed an interior door frame and the turn signals weren't working so we knew they needed to do several things before it would be ready. 18 days later we hadn't heard anything so I called to check on the status. I was rudely told that they never said two weeks but two months! Really?! Then we were told how they couldn't get mechanics to work because of COVID and the truck wouldn't be ready for two months. Ok So we waited for two months. No call from the dealer for an update so after the two months went by we called again. They were behind schedule and the truck hadn't even been looked at yet! After two months!!!! We spent the next month hearing every excuse. Working on it. They couldn't get the electrical working so it would be another couple days. It's being test drove now so give them another couple days. We're almost done so give us a week. My husband even drove up again to make sure the truck was actually still there and being worked on. He was polite and was told one more week. So when we called on July 7 over three months from putting down a deposit the owners backed out of the deal because we were nagging them to finish up. You would think they would refund us the deposit so we would go away. But no. Update: They did return my deposit and she actually did do it right after our phone conversation but when I called to check because she hadn't sent a receipt via text or email and then didn't again for several hours after I called again to ask for the receipt. She actually didn't understand why I couldn't believe her since I couldn't see a receipt....,,, Beware. Be forewarned. I have no doubt that running a business post pandemic can be a struggle. But these owners didn't call us with an update once. Not one time. And they actually acted as if they couldn't understand why we were frustrated for waiting and waiting and being told story after story. Ie. lie after lie. I suppose a straight deal and leave would work out fine but I recommend not trusting this business with your money.
