I'm not sure who the piercer is, but the service I received today from some guy (who's name I didn't learn) was horrific. I wanted the have the end of my cartilage piercing loosened, but the guy straight up took the jewelry out of my ear and handed it to me. I had to loosen the threadless end myself and begrudgingly handed it back to him to put it back in my ear. I asked if the jewelry could be sanitized before putting it in my healing piercing, but he said no. The two guys at the shop were having their own conversation the whole time while I was being serviced. The piercing room itself was filthy and was being used as storage. There was no sanitation done while I was there, so I'm surprised he even wore gloves. I got out as fast as I could and went home to clean my piercing. I just hope I don't get an infection because of the unprofessionalism of this shop. read more

Nice place, clean atmosphere. Got 2 cartilage piercings done. Lady helping me was brusque but relaxed. The piercing itself was quick and relatively painless. The person helping me out was patient and worked with me in the placement of the piercing and made sure I was happy. I loved the results and the aftercare instructions were clear and precise. Went in to get a tattoo with my daughter. She got her naval pierced. Her piercing went great. Felt really comfortable about her artist. Mine came in from his break, we sat down to discuss my tattoo. Then, I realized he had been drinking. I immediately felt really uneasy. He couldn't get the computer to work at all. He didn't even know his own email address so I could send him a picture. I just got frustrated and took it as a sign to just leave. He offered to draw something out for me that he thought I could like. Uhhhh, no this is what I want. I'm not sure I'd ever let someone who has been drinking to tattoo something permanent on my body. Incredibly unprofessional. Don't go see Fienx ever!! read more

Firebird Tattoo is VERY clean and sterile which is always important when choosing a tattoo establishment. I was a nervous wreck when I walked in for a belly button piercing. I was so scared but as soon as they started talking me through everything I calmed down. I chose Firebird Tattoo for my first tattoo. I already knew exactly what I wanted, & after reading great reviews about this shop & the owner, Drew, I knew this was the place. Out of 3 people working there with no customers at the time, not one person greeted or welcomed me. I showed one of them, Meg, a picture of what I wanted. She sketched it out as I filled out paperwork. After she stenciled it on me, I simply asked for it to be slightly smaller. She seemed annoyed & said she wouldn't re-stencil it until I knew exactly how I wanted it. At this point, her attitude had completely ruined the experience & I just wanted to walk out. I ultimately stopped her & she proceeded to tell me I owed her $20 for her "troubles." The owner came over & apologized and offered to do it for me. I told him it had nothing to do with Meg's artistic ability, but rather her attitude. They took my $20, which was ironic considering they lost a customer because of the way they conduct business. Undoubtedly, there are talented artists here, but that means very little when the customer feels disrespected & unwanted from the minute they walk in the door. I left and went down the street to a place called Rose & Anchor Tattoo where Jerry, seemed to want me for a customer & gave me exactly what I wanted. The store was clean and although they were busy, they made me feel very comfortable. read more

Meg is an amazing piercer!! Took my youngest daughter of 10yrs to have her ears pierced here and what a great and sterile job!! From day 1, there has not been any pain, swelling, redness or infections and it's now over 4 weeks later!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! read more
