We did have a hiccup, spent 3 days & nights in the heat with no air after service due to AA Attendant they were not getting our messages (lady in office out sick) but, AA was saying they would be here between certain hours, someone would call us, etc. On day 3 my husband was there when the owner came in and he was completely unaware. He sent someone that day. I will say we are nice and cool now and it was just a random issue nothing serious, took 5 mins to fix. I would like to thank the Owner for being a true stand up business man and making it right for us as a consumer. His technician came both visits and was a very nice young man. I had 2 other so called professionals to look at the problem and they collected a service charge for coming out but did not stop the leak. He inspected and cleaned the indoor furnace unit. Reviewed the effectiveness of the thermostat. Because we are having trouble with cold spots, he even used an infrared instrument to detect flaws in our exterior wall insulation. He was timely, efficient, professional, thorough and cordial. I called Childers Heating and Air on Saturday morning after my AC stopped working. A technician…read morearrived but refused to fix the unit that day, explicitly telling me, "I can't really fix it today because have a lot of calls behind you and this would take like an hour, but I can come back maybe Tuesday." As a result, I was left stranded all weekend with three kids in an 85-degree house (90s outside) just because of poor scheduling on the their part. Childers Heating & Air later tried to excuse this by claiming it was a "maintenance issue" (dirty coils). While coil cleaning is routine maintenance when a system is running, it stops being "maintenance" and becomes an emergency repair the moment the system is in total failure. After I called to complain on Monday, they managed to move my appointment up to that afternoon. However, when the same technician from the previous visit arrived, he knocked, waited a mere 20 seconds, knocked again, and then muttered, "You cant even answer the f***ing door?" right in front of my Ring doorbell. I have this incredibly unprofessional behavior caught entirely on video. To the company's credit, once the work was finally done, the unit began working great. After I called management to report the technician's language, they did offer to cover half the bill and gave me a year of their club membership free of charge. While I appreciate the office trying to make it right after the fact, the actual experience of being abandoned in the heat and then cursed at by their staff on my own doorstep was completely unacceptable.

I called and they verifies that it had been 8 month since my HVAC service 14 month since my generator. My winter HVAC service was skipped and my annual 2025 generator service was skipped......however I had paid for them. The customer service person did not seem to care in the least and actually told me I should have called them to schedule the service. I asked to speak with her manager (Mason) and he never called me back. Worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time!

After he left, the system was not working quite right that afternoon, the customer service dispatcher called him, he came back late on Friday afternoon, spent a couple of hours going over the system and corrected the issue...and it has been working great ever since! Cody was very informative as to what the problem was and gave us a heads up on another possible problem for the future (it is an older system)...very helpful!
