She dropped the class prices for any and all classses to $10 because she understands the impact of the economy and wants to help. I think what I love the most about this special place is that everyone is welcome. And I truly mean that. Another update?! Yup! Still 5 Stars, but worth mentioning their online options now! This review is relevant for during the coronavirus pandemic. I absolutely love Firefly Yoga Company for their incredible in-person classes (plus, their yoga teacher training is LIFE CHANGING), but I love that they've added daily Facebook Live streaming classes. These are inherently free (FB live is accessible by anyone with no paywall), but I believe in donating if you are able to while streaming their classes. The best way to find their online FB Live schedule is on their FB or Instagram pages as it changes weekly. The last class I "attended" (virtually) was a bird-themed class where the instructor (the fabulous Holly!) wove in a ton of poses that had avian-related names or helped you feel like you were taking flight! THIS is the kind of content I can get behind. And the best part? It still feels like you're practicing with a community because people are commenting and *hearting* the live video as you all are practicing. Check out one of their classes and consider DMing them to give a small class donation (they can provide you with a venmo to send it!). read more

So much fun! Stacy F. sent out a message suggesting bunny yoga at Firefly and I'm so glad she did (: It was $14 pp. A small price to pay to play with bunnies...I mean do yoga for an hour (: I've done yoga a few times before, but I must admit this time there wasn't much yoga done. Holly was an amazing teacher and didn't take it personal when we played with the bunnies. I'm really bad about stretching before and after working out. Now that I've started to use resistance bands I'm always super sore and the little yoga I did really helped with the pain. I'm going to start taking classes on a regular basis. After class we stuck around to play with the bunnies and even took some photos with them at the selfie station. There is an event going on 11/9/19 with the bunnies and other vendors (including food trucks) at the nook on Robinson. A wonderful studio with wonderful staff!! This location is out in Ocoee, which is a bit of a drive from our house, but well worth it!! They have a great space that just feels warm and inviting, but what really puts them over the top of the staff. There's a fair amount of parking as they share retail space with a movie theater and other shops. Once inside there is a real of cubes to store your stuff while you yoga. The staff is incredibly welcoming and very open to first timers all the way through experts. They push you to be your best while also telling you to listen to your body and ensure your not going overboard or hurting yourself. There is a lot of room so you can easily spread out and have a space even when it's very busy. Overall: A++ If you're a first time or expert, this is your yoga spot!!! read more

My son purchased the four pass class special for new students so I took a Yoga 101 class on a Friday morning with a nice group of people and a very welcoming instructor, Sarah. She asked us to indicate if we'd be okay with her assistance via hands on adjustments during our poses and I squealed "yay" and happily raised my hand while we were all face down in our opening child's poses-very polite way to allow folks the freedom to refuse without being judged. I that! Of course I love when people assist me in poses and I welcome "hands on" gentle presses on my shoulders and back that help me get the most from a class. The studio is clean, simple and I would have given it 5 stars but it was warm and the instructor said they leave the AC off over night but it's my firm belief that a space must be cool when a class starts because all the movement and spiritual energy generated in a class elevates the body temperature which is uncomfortable and distracting. I kept thinking how hot I was and how I wished I'd placed my mat near a vent or fan-hard to focus. The are well equipped with straps, mats, bolsters, blocks and blankets. The music was good and not too loud. I will definitely try some other classes here, I will just be sure to wear shorts and put ice in my water bottle. read more

I've been going to this studio for years, and with confidence, I can say this is certainly one of the best. Holly and her team have done an amazing job creating a beautiful community of beginner, intermediate, and advanced yogis who can collectively share a comfortable space together. Whether it's Holly bringing in a pet, a fellow yogi bringing her child along, or someone who may be completely new to the practice, all are welcomed here with open arms. I've been to this location a couple of times now, once to actually practice yoga and the others dropping off my wife so she could while I was on baby duty. The owner and staff here are incredibly friendly. It's a great studio, decent size, very well kept. They have their own private parking lot, which is convenient. The instructor the time that I went was awesome. She is very professional, very calming, and takes the time to help everybody do things correctly. She also offers alternative options/positions for people who can't do the more advanced techniques. I would really like to go back to this location to practice, but it's pretty far from where we live to go regularly. If they open up a studio closer to Orlando proper Sunday, it's definitely a place that we would go to regularly. read more

My husband and I attended the Sunday GIVE class as first timers to Firefly Yoga! We are not seasoned yogis and it was my husband's first time ever attending a yoga class so some of the poses were a little intimidating but Holly was a great instructor and helped us to ensure proper form for our poses! :D We found this facility through the Mind Body Connect app, it was one of the only yoga studios offering an affordable class on Easter! We were running a little late to the facility so I really appreciated Holly's thoughtful call to make sure we were coming. Everyone was super friendly and the class was very light hearted and welcoming! The overall experience was great! The class had a good mix of beginner and intermediate poses that could be supplemented with more experienced poses as the skills fit. This is pretty much the only yoga studio in the area. It is wonderful! It is a good priced yoga studio with good instructors. The instructors are very knowledgable. The practice is well guided with lots of options for modifcation. They have a variety of classes and let you know of any changes to the schedule. This is a much needed addition to the area that is surpisingly lacking of any yoga studios. read more

I came in firefly Monday night and did two classes in a row. The first was flex and flow and the second was Yin. I was hoping to get a little bit more energy flowing in the first class. I would have also preferred instead of late 70s rock, more of a Yoga style music and a little louder. Also it seem like the music was coming out of the teacher's phone instead of a speaker which was a little weak. The Yin class was really good! We listened to beautiful classical instrumental music, and we had the lights out with candles lit all around the room. Cheryl has a very hypnotic voice which is nice for Yin. My favorite part of the studio is all the cubbies to put your purse, shoes, etc. And it's facing the inside of the studio so that it's not hidden behind a wall while you are in yoga class. I also admire the philosophy to comment or ask questions during the class. I will definitely do more classes! read more

I always look for a yoga ‍ studio when my husband & I travel to a new town or city. We are snowbirds and stay in our RV for 3 months. I took my first class on a Sunday. It was a $5 class w/ proceeds going to thyroid cancer. There were @ least 30 yogis in there all sweating, focused on our intention, & getting a great workout! Great class & great energy!!! I like the way the classes begins. The instructor asks if there are things we wanted or need to work on, shoulders, core, hip flexors etc. I've taken class w/ Holly & Melanie. The studio is a good size and has all the support equipment needed from beginner to advanced. I originally started my practice here from another studio because they offered a pre-natal class. Molly does an amazing job leading the pre-natal practice. Thank you for having this option available and the care you have for your students! I absolutely loved taking class here! I have visited this studio twice already. The studio is small and intimate. The instructors are very welcoming and attentive. It was nice that they asked at the beginning of the class if there were any special requests, or poses you would like to avoid.
