What can I say! I love Project 7 Yoga! I have been coming to this studio on and off for years (starting back in 2018-ish). During the earlier stages of my time coming here, I'd usually only go to their Yin / Deep Stretch classes because I had a pretty solid work-out regime outside of yoga. So, the deep stretching was a great balance to my primarily cardio-based routine. It was not until last year, that I fully committed to a membership and it's been the best decision I have ever made. Though I am not a complete novice to the practice of yoga (as I have been doing it on and off with no real consistency since middle school when it was recommended as physical therapy to me by my doctor), I am a novice to being consistent with my practice of yoga. Signing up for a membership, has been the game changer. The instructors are amazing. Patient yet encouraging. They take the time to learn your face (and name) which just makes attending the studio feel that just more like a supportive friend group. Though, they offer primarily heat based classes, do not FEAR it. The heat is bearable. It's almost as if with each passing move you are sweating out the negative energy of the day, toxins, and any bad vibes you may have had following you that day. You leave feeling refreshed, inspired and deeply proud of yourself for showing up for YOU. Needless to say, I am a total fan of this studio. The space is clean and there is ample parking. They offer great membership packages as well as reasonable drop-in class prices. They also host various restorative events like crystal bowl meditations. And if yoga is your calling, fret not, because you can also go through instructor training under their tutelage. Recently started going to yoga here when one of my friends invited me to join her. There is a parking lot on the side of the building with sufficient parking. The space is inviting and calming. The yoga room is spacious. I've been to several classes and so far, have enjoyed the classes. The instructors have been great. So, this is not my home yoga studio. But I have been, and I like everything about it. For starters: seven bucks. I really appreciate trying to make yoga accessible and affordable. The studio itself is lovely, the instructors I had were nice and good instructors. The schedule is consistent and you have options, though not as endless as Warrior One. If you are looking for serious, hard-core, meditative yoga, I believe College Park Yoga remains the most amazing studio in Orlando. For folks who are looking to get yoga in around their difficult schedules, Warrior One is a good pick, but if money is a consideration (and it always is), Project Seven is a great deal. read more

I had a really experience dropping in for a class at Project 7. It costs less than going to see a movie and in my opinion it's way more ~valuable~ You can't make reservations for classes, so you quite literally have to "drop in" at first this concerned me but once I was there I kind of loved it. You really have to commit to going to class to be able to go to class. We did a hot yoga session. And I can't tell what was hotter, the people or the class. I mean for real - this is a studio for the hot people of Orlando, clearly. And even though everyone was stunning there were zero attitudes. It was a really energizing and encouraging space. I am super impressed. Definitely worth dropping in. I don't know about the memberships but I do know it's a community worth joining. Even if it is just occasional. I look forward to a class in the future when visiting my in-laws again. read more

I attended my first yoga class ever this past Sunday, and I was a huge fan. As a first timer, I did extensive research on the local yoga studios. This studio stood out to me, I liked the different types of classes they offered and I appreciated the detailed description of each class. My friend and I took the Beginners Gentle class on Sunday at 2pm. The instructor had a very relaxing vibe about her, and she described the poses as we transitioned. I found I was able to follow along without having to keep my eyes on her, she was very descriptive. She was sure to correct us if our pose was off, I appreciated this. I had no idea what I was doing, so being corrected will only help me grow as I take more classes. I'm not a very active person, I enjoy an occasional bike ride around my neighborhood but that's about it. I had no problem keeping up in the Beginners Gentle class, even though I did find a pose or two challenging I know it will become easier the more I practice. I felt great leaving class, I cant wait to take another! I found that the pricing for this studio is a great price compared to other studios I've looked into. Their drop in class rate is $7 and $2 mat rental if you pay in cash. If you pay with card, the drop in class rate is $8 and the mat rental is $4. I didn't have cash on me so I ended up paying $12 which is still a great price! They offer membership rates, which I will look into. I wasn't interested in paying for a membership on my first class, I wanted to make sure I liked it first. Another reason their low drop in rate is nice, try before you buy! They have items for sale when you first walk in. You can purchase a mat, towels, clothing, accessories and they even have a refrigerator with cold drinks. 5 Stars for a really friendly yoga studio that makes everyone feel welcomed. This studio is on Virginia, west of colonial. It has parking beside it as well as some limited on-street parking. I've been a few times and am always blown away by how close it is and the amazing drop-in rate! For drop-ins, the rate is $7 cash or $8 card. That is very low for Orlando studios. As soon as you walk in you'll be hit with inspiration. The essential oils are divided throughout, which leave you in a constant state of calm My last big note is how this stickers on the studio floor guiding you where you should set your matt so as to get everyone in with comfort. Hopefully folks stick to the guidelines and the flows keep building audience! read more

The cutest yoga place I've ever seen!!! This place is SO modern with a warm welcoming feel! I love the turtle out front and the real drift wood counter!!! I absolutely adored the instructor and the class was SO great! A friend and I took Yoga Basics for the first time at this studio. The front desk was welcoming and knowledgable and the instructor was encouraging and even requested input on what kinds of things people would like to do and focus on in the class! The meditation time was amazing! The instructor was sooo calming and was a great guide to the beginners who needed a little help focusing on relaxation and breathing! This location is awesome! The parking is adequate for the amount of people it needs to facilitate at any one given time. There is also the Hideaway Bar within walking distance for a quick after workout accomplishment drink ;) but fyi* they're cash only. Project 7: The prices are amazing, you absolutely cannot beat $7 a class! The quality of the service is outstanding! Couldn't ask for better! The ambiance and decor of the establishment is on par and more than perfect to set the mood for a good yoga sesh! The location is awesome and I will definitely be returning! read more

I have been a part of Project 7 Yoga as both a teacher and a student throughout the years. I have been coming to P7Y for over 3 years now and I can say it is by far the prettiest, cleanest, friendliest and best priced studio in Orlando. They have both hot and cool yoga classes as well as ones that meet any yogis needs from basics to advanced and everything in between. One thing I really love is that all of the instructors are great and have their own teaching style which allows each class to be fresh, different and fun. In my years of practicing I've found that many studios have a particular teaching method which makes classes predictable and routine so I really enjoy the diversity of the teachers and techniques here. When you walk in the doors you enter into a quaint lobby that has plenty of little yoga essentials from oils to mats and clothing. All classes are only $7 (if you pay with a card there is an additional $1 charge). Also if you forget your yoga mat or don't have one yet they have premium quality rentals (manduka yoga mats) for $2 not those cheapy Pilates mats. The ambiance is fantastic here, like many other reviewers have said - it's like a spa. They diffuse essential oils throughout the studio which put you in a total zen mode. It's also VERY clean. The hard wood floors are always pristine and there's never a bad odor like you may find at many places that provide hot yoga classes. This studio and the awesome owners take pride in everything they do here and it shows. If you're looking for a yoga studio definitely give this place a try. I'm sure it'll become your new yoga home. My favorite classes/ recommendations : Flow & Stretch - combines the best of both worlds a vigorous flow for about half of the class and then the last half is spent doing juicy stretches and more relaxing postures. Hot Power - I love the heated classes here because this studio doesn't try to kill you with heat. I've been some places where the heat is blasted at 100+ degrees and you want to crawl away gasping for water. At P7Y classes are closer to high 80-90s so it's enough to make you sweat but not to scare you away. Restorative - ahhh one of my favorite classes when I need some serious stress relief. You get tons of fun props and do a lot of relaxing postures for long periods of time to help get you in a mediative state (if sitting still isn't your thing you may not love this class but could be something you benefit greatly from) read more

I discovered Project 7 back in 2013. I searched on Yelp for barre classes, and this spot caught my eye. I felt like I belonged there since the first class I took. Mary had a beautiful vision and a great business approach. When barre classes were no longer offered, I was hesitant to switch to yoga. Mary assured me there is no expected level, just show up and flow. I am glad I did! I went through some challenging times, Mary agreed to give me educators discount when I purchased my annual pass. I am so grateful you did that for me! Yoga became an important part of my life. The studio always brings new instructors and workshops that encourage your spritual and physical growth. Since 2013, the studio has undergone some changes, all positive, that attract people of all ages and backgrounds. I appreciate the diversity and accepting culture that is created here. I love the special packages offered as well as monthly challenges. Coming back after pregnancy and childbirth was just like reuniting with family. Big hugs, happy smiles. I've been taking classes at Project 7 for a few months now and absolutely love this studio. The prices you can't beat, $7 flat for every class, the instructors and amazing and unique so that the classes don't get boring or repetitive, and the atmosphere is really conducive for a relaxing session. They offer class packs where you can pre-pay in advance, as well and mat and towel rentals. They have beginner classes, hot yoga, prenatal yoga, children's yoga, and gentle yoga flow classes. Parking is super easy once you visit and see the lay out, the building is flanked by lots and then there is a second lot north of the building as well. I can't recommend this studio enough for yogis of all levels of practice and commitment! read more

I don't know what kind of secret magic Project 7 Yoga wields there, but my first (and only) class at Project 7 reintroduced me to yoga -- a practice I didn't enjoy until then. My main choice of exercise is to bang and clang some weights and run, but as the sweat dripped off my body and struck various poses during a challenging power class to some meditative music, I fell in love. (Not by choice.) A few things to take note from my experience: *Instructor: Even though I can't recall her name, I remember how she thoughtfully articulated each movement and provided adjustments around the room when necessary. *Room: I enjoyed the degree of heat and intimate lighting. (I dug the Christmas lights in the front of the room.) *Price: Not sure how this studio makes any money, because a drop-in class is only $8, but if I lived in Orlando I would make this place my studio. And unlimited for an entire month is only $79! Thanks for helping me find my breath, Project 7. You helped me on my journey to finding internal peace. There's another studio I frequent more, but I wanted to check out the vibe at this yoga studio. I absolutely loved Project 7 Yoga. First of all, it's gorgeous. The outside of the building really gets your attention, especially in the evening. The inside is also very pretty. Second, they offer different styles of yoga, but I am into hot yoga. The drop in rate is $7 for a single class. That's pretty darn good! But, they do offer memberships, if you want to check those out. Lastly, the instructors are great and welcoming. We had 2 instructors; one was giving the directions and the other was demonstrating the poses. I am not sure if all sessions are this way, but I found it easy to follow. So, I am giving them 5 stars for a fantastic experience. I will keep coming back. read more

Sometimes I like this studio, sometimes I don't. I've been going for five years and the price has doubled in the past year without any significant improvements. Now, it's just another irritating, noisy studio jamming as many people into a practice as possible. And, don't be a minute late! I drove 40 minutes to make the only power yoga class on Friday and I was two minutes after 5 p.m. and the door was locked. Mary only pays to have one staff at the studio so when the class starts the front door locks. They do have a few exceptionally good yogis, but the price is becoming prohibitive and the environment is not worth the cost. read more

: the studio is kind of fancy, as soon as you walk in all of the products they're selling kinda jumps right at you, the ambience is dark, walls are black, the set up of the studio itself is nice but the actual yoga room has wood floors so my knees were killing me :/ no mirrors either to watch for correction during, the instructor was very nice! However the vibe I got was more something you'd see on twitter or a housewife idea of yoga, it didn't feel traditional. Still a nice place to try out! read more

You get what you pay for! Dedicated yogi to this studio following Anne along with my family. I bought tons of Maduka product as well.... Staff turnover however is horrendous... this is the only studio which will not post staff because they have no clue who will show up. That is horrific for me. I attend studios based on their instructors and style of teaching. When I go to hot power or detox...I want hot power and detox not level 1 intro class with the heater on.... give me a break ... we'll it is only $7... so I return to "you get what you pay for" and I shall. I am happy to pay more for consistency. I attended this studio for many years and due to recent management decisions will NO LONGER return ..... BIG MISTAKE! read more

I went with a group, and we had a private barre class. There was plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly and helped show me around. There is a lot of space for your belongings. The rooms are very nicely decorated. Mary was our instructor, and she kicked my butt. Aside from knowing there was some yoga involved, I didn't know what I was getting myself into. You don't have to be a dancer to do a barre class. Classes are reasonably priced, and there are classes from 9 AM to 8 PM. There are options to fit your budget/schedule and range from paying per class to unlimited classes. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the great class, Mary! read more

I love the vibe of this studio! I've only been to a handful of instructors classes and workshops but they all are great. Steve's 6PM classes on Wednesday's is one of my favorites. Plan to arrive early to get a spot and find parking. Parking can be tricky (that's the main reason for the 4 stars). Classes are reasonably priced! It's actually cheaper sometimes to pay in cash instead of buying a package. I love the light wall they have in their big studio. I do wish they'd put more art up on the other walls. All in all a go to yoga studio for me in Orlando. read more

This place is awesome, and an amazing value! It's tucked away in a building off of Virginia Dr., just a block or two past Mills. I've driven by this place soo many times and finally decided to take a class there this morning! The studio is gorgeous... it has a beautiful lobby area with refreshing drinks, yoga mats, and apparel, as well as a gorgeous check in desk! The girl at the front was so helpful and knowledgable and gave us a tour of the studio as this was our first time visiting. This studio actually has two spaces: one is deemed the "hot yoga" room, which is smaller and equipped with heaters for heat based classes. The main room is for all other classes (power, gentle, etc.). It is beautiful, with big windows faxing Virginia, and gorgeous lights hanging down add a really cozy touch! The instructor who taught the class today, Ashley, was great. She was very peaceful and dos a great job explaining poses as well as teaching us steps towards handstands. For only $7 a class, this place is amazing. It is just as good if not better than other studios with a much higher $15-$20 drop in rate, and the incredible facilities really make it an incredible experience! Favorite yoga studio by far. The staff and instructors are so friendly and the studio is clean and relaxing. I recently hurt my back so I started going to yoga to stretch it out and strengthen it. That mixed with my physical therapy has helped me feel so much better. The instructors are so good about making you feel like wherever you are in your practice is okay so I always feel comfortable. I came here on a Saturday afternoon for the Kundilini yoga. I've tried out several yoga studios since moving to Orlando in December 2016 and was looking for one that incorporated a more meditative experience. Kundilini yoga at Project 7 Yoga was exactly what I was looking for. The class was 2 hours long, and it was part-instructive/informative about the form itself. It was so relaxing and Rachel was very generous with knowledge. I left feeling completely grounded and brought back to center. There wasn't a lot of physical exercise with this particular class, so you may want to consider a different type of class if you're looking for a core workout. read more

I'm one of those weightlifting fanatics that has needed to stretch more for years and personal trainers, articles and bloggers have all recommended yoga for increased flexibility etc. This morning I finally decided to give yoga a chance after waking up really sore from the other day. I am so so pleased with the updates Project 7 has made. Not only have they completely expanded the number of classes offered per day, they are also incorporating a larger variety of workouts. Though I personally go for yoga, the new offerings include: cardio pop, get fit group training, and yoga beats. The best part is, all classes are only $7! That is the best drop-in rate I've seen around town. I've really enjoyed all the classes I've taken at Project 7. Though I have not taken classes with all of the instructors, especially some of the newer ones, each experience is always pleasant. The actual studio is quite lovely as well. Always clean with peaceful lighting a fresh smell. I do wish Project 7 offered early morning classes during the week. One starting at 6:30 or 6:45AM would be great for those who work until 6PM and cannot make some of the evening classes. Overall, I've enjoyed the time I've spent at Project 7 and am excited to see them grow. I'd recommend Project 7 to anyone interested in trying out a new yoga/barre/workout studio. read more

I'm in the process of getting my yoga teacher training certification so I've been trying a ton of different studios in town to experience different teachers & different styles. A few weeks ago a friend told me about Project7 Yoga & what initially sold me was that every class is $7. If you've ever been to a yoga class you know that $7 is a steal, truly one of the most affordable options in town. I was immediately intrigued & was even more surprised when I walked in to Project7, it's a beautiful, clean studio with a very welcoming vibe. I've taken a few classes to date, thus far some teachers have been much better than others but that's always the case in any studio. Project7 recently started offering hot yoga which I love, so I have a feeling I'll be going more often. I'm giving the studio four stars because it's great but I would LOVE some morning classes, there really isn't many options to catch a class before going to work which is unfortunate. Other than that, great option in an awesome location with friendly staff, clean studios & for a great price. Thumbs up! read more

Project 7 Yoga is a brand new studio that has opened up on Virginia Dr. in Ivanhoe Village. They offer yoga (duh), Pilates, and will start offering a barre class (Barreamped they call it) in September. The location is easily accessible, though it's on the south side of the street. Sometimes traffic can get a little backed up there. To start, the studio space was lovely and very well done. There's ample space and a backdrop of curtains and lights covering the front windows. They also have curtains instead of a door when you're entering and exiting the practice area, which is different but didn't pose any issues at the class I was in this morning. The cubbies were easily accessible and the overall design was quite fluid and allowed for one to move around easily between spaces. There is a restroom inside the practice room, which is a bit different but wasn't off-putting, and another one in the back as well. There are also changing rooms, but I didn't look at those. My friend and I went to try a free class (they have a special for August listed on their website where your first class is free) this morning and met Mary, the owner, and Nicole, our instructor. Both were very friendly and helpful, and Nicole was able to help all of us in the class (spoiler alert: there were 3 of us) with adjustments, which I like. That's something I miss when I go to OPY, I like to know if I'm doing the pose correctly. Unfortunately I'm moving next week and won't be able to keep going to Project 7, but I do recommend people give it a try. I enjoyed my visit and think it's a lovely addition to the Ivanhoe area which has somehow been missing a yoga studio up until this point. read more

I am so happy to have found this yoga studio. I had only done yoga once before in college so I was a little nervous for my first class. I did a hot yoga class with Dahlia who is great. My next class was also a hot yoga class with Alex. The hot yoga is held in the smaller classroom and can get quite crowded. When I first came I don't think there was a class cap but I believe now there is. It can get VERY hot so I suggest bring a water bottle and a small towel to wipe your sweat. There is a larger room that the rest of the classes are held in. I have not taken a class in this room but it's much bigger and beautifully decorated. After going to a few classes I realized that they get a little repetitive so I recommend trying different classes. Lastly, and one of the selling points for me, is the price. At just $7 a class I can think of another location that can beat this price. You can buy a single class or a package of ten or more. Well worth the price! read more

I love the classes no one judges. Yesterday I needed a good stretch. I've been so busy and haven't been to my yoga in a while. Well the noon instructor didn't show up. I waited and waited then said we'll something must of happened. As I was walking I checked in. Later that day someone from 7 called me apologizing saying something did happen and a free class on them. Wow. Was not expecting that. Now that's customer service. Thank you! And I will be back!!!
