I have ordered from here for about 2 years now, they have the BEST pub style pizza with very fresh ingredients and all thin crust (default). The pizza is always pipping hot and the staff is very helpful. I have also tried the breadsticks and those are great too. What I love most about the pizza is the sauce is a slight bit sweet and pairs so well with salty cheese and toppings. I've only gone to the actual restaurant once for carry out and it seems like a decent size and was well kept. It is also next to a dollar tree which helps if you needed to pick anything up while you are there Basically, this place is great, they deliver to the east Peoria side I WISH they would deliver to Dunlap etc but the food and people are great. I found this local business just looking for something different to eat. The Service is prompt & friendly! They have a salad bar that seems unusual in restaurants now! I love all the firehouse tributes as the ambience! I had the Firehouse Deluxe Small Pizza. It was stocked with plenty of vegetables! The crust is very thin but it was awesome! Great place for families too. They apparently also own a bar next door but I ate in the restaurant. Easy access at the stoplight across from the Kroger. read more

The food was really exceptional. I'm a sucker for a good salad bar. It's not huge but good. The pizza that we had was called the backdraft pizza, thin crust. I was expecting hot, spicy. It was just flavorful. The crust was cracker crisp jyst like I like it. The inside was decorated nicely so don't go by the outside. Again says understaffed, but everything was hot and right on pace. I would give this a 3.5 stars, but obviously can't do a half star..sooo here we are. Came here last night for a mid-week pizza fix and was close by. I love the Firehouse in Peoria and thought this one would be the same. Atmosphere- The restaurant portion was spacious and bright. It was cool inside, but not terrible. It was clean, but could have been because it was about 7:30 and the place was empty, except for one other table of 4. Service- The service was eh. Our waitress seemed to be more concerned about chatting with the staff in the back, than anything, but she was efficient and timely in taking our order and so on. Food- The food was good, but not quite as good as the one in Peoria. Can't put my finger on what wasn't right, just not as good. The breadsticks seemed a little tougher than normal. Also the pizza barely had any sauce, but I am sure it is different pizza to pizza. Overall, not bad, but could have been better. read more

I ordered the Cheeseburger Supreme. My first experience with Firehouse but won't be my last. I was surprised at how heavy the pizza box was but when I opened it and saw how generous they are with toppings, it made sense. Loads of hamburger with gobs of real cheese, mustard, bacon bits and crunchy pickles. It was amazing. I opted for delivery and the service was excellent. Next time I will eat in the restaurant. It's so cool with all the firefighter decor. Ambiance galore! Highly recommend. Can't wait to try other items on the menu! read more

Came in for family weekend expecting to enjoy a nice meal. We were seated upstairs and the service was the worst I have ever experienced. I ordered chicken bacon and ranch pizza and it was served as a pizza( I was told this was the proper way it was served, pictures attached of the "pasta". We only saw the server about two times. Terrible service and terrible food. Will not return and do not recommend. The manger was nice and worked with me with drinks. Thank you to the manager for taking the time to talk to me and trying to make the experience enjoyable. The server in the tide dye shirt was rude and disrespectful the whole entire meal. We bring our speech team every year to Peoria and we order this pizza every time! They deliver to the hotel, they are so accommodating! And the pizza is great!! This last time, I ordered the food for the wrong time and the manager called right away after I left a message that day. They redid the whole order for us for the right time! Amazing!! read more

The place is really neat. It looks divvy from the outside but he's actually decorated really neat with lots of firehouse memorabilia and is family friendly. Lots of options and unusual pizzas to choose from. We got a cheeseburger pizza, meat lovers, and a half margarita and half chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo was my favorite. We also ordered a full order of breadsticks which were a little over done and an order of garlic cheese bread which was amazing! The nacho dipping sauce isn't your usual spicy cheese and was disappointing. The pizza sauce was cold and sweet. Next door and you can get to it from inside the restaurant is a small bar with some slot machines and an assortment of bottled and a few draft beers. We didn't know until after and talking to someone that they have a couple different sauces- one less sweet but you have to ask for it. We will do that next time. read more

This place is kinda hard to see. Looks kinda iffy on the outside, but actually decent on the inside. I got the Spaghetti with marinara sauce and ground beef, onions, and mushrooms. The sauce was sweet which I didn't like. Not too much taste. I was disappointed that the onions weren't cooked and I found 1 tiny mushroom . It came with 4 pieces of garlic bread which were good. Everyone got pizza which was great. All you can eat salad bar for $2.99 HELLO! Great selection and really good. I think the lady noticed I was picking at my food so when we got the check she said she didn't add on all 3 salads. 3 salads, 3 small pizza's, 1 coke and child's drink, 1 child's pizza, and spaghetti all for $30. I ordered an Italian Beef Sandwich and a Firehouse Delight Pizza with classic sauce. It was delivered hot to my hotel room around 40 mins later (which is not too much of a wait to me). Delivery person was prompt and polite. The poor review is really only about the quality of the food. It just wasn't good. The beef sandwich had to have been microwaved because the bread was spongy. The beef didn't have much flavor at all. I didn't try it dipped in the included au jus, which may have taken away from the spongy feel of the bun. The pizza was bland. It didn't compete with the popular chains taste-wise, and I'm not a huge fan of those chains either. Unfortunately, there just aren't a lot of delivery options in E Peoria... Bottom line: If you're like me and too lazy to leave the hotel room to go somewhere better and you don't want to starve, this food is edible - it's just not delicious. read more

We were passing through. My husband brought wings and pizza back to the hotel. Both the wings and the pizza were delicious. The garlic pizza also had pepperoni and sausage. Very good! Wow I have found a new love for pizza. Amazing gluten free pizza with the sweet red sauce. Meats and extra cheese onions green peppers black and green olives man is it great five stars all day long and the service is awesome didn't even to ask for drink refills they showed up every time. They continue to go downhill in service. The last two times we have ordered the deliveries have taken way too long. Quoted 45 minutes to an hour. Called at an hour and 15. Idiot answers and lies to me and says they made a mistake quoting me that time. Then he says they are on the road. 20 minutes later, still no pizza. Waiting till they deliver so nothing else happens to my order if they read this before it gets here. Update; Talked to Brian the manager at an 1:45 in and he offers me free cheesy sticks the next time I order. I declined and then my wife reminded me the exact thing happened last time and the coupon had expired just recently. Another waste of a good restaurant by poor management. read more

The ingredients were very fresh and the thin crust was delicious even though I prefer a thick crust. Alexis my server was friendly and prompt. I try to avoid the Peoria area when I am dining in the area. If I can find a suitable dining location in another town then I will go there. However, I prefer the Firehouse Pizza location in Peoria on Knoxville. They have a few selections at that location that are not on the menu at the East Peoria location. The main one missing is the chili cheese dog pizza. My stomach hates me afterward but I enjoy ordering that periodically. I also like the enclosed booths at the Peoria location. You can watch TV without feeling you are bothering in other patrons. I rarely do but you could. There is nothing inherently bad about the East Peoria Firehouse. The staff is friendly and food is the same quality. The best part of Firehouse are the bosco sticks! They are amazing! I once bought some breadsticks with cheese inside that looked similar at the store. Did not compare in the slightest. Edit: I was informed by a helpful person that the Peoria and East Peoria locations are owned by two different people. Apparently, the Peoria location is the original location. They also own the Normal location so I will be checking it out. read more

Pretty good pizza, sauce was sweet and garlicky. Toppings were fresh...sausage was textured vegetable protein just like most chains. The crust was typical of newer attempts at chain pizza....no yeast at all. Crust was very crispy, just flavorless. Person who took my order over the phone was a little curt. I would not order again, but if you are looking for something better than dominos/little caesars/papa johns it might fit the bill. read more

I have had the pizza here twice and neither time was good. Actually, my first experience was with delivery and the second time was actually in the resturaunt. Honestly, I probably wouldn't go back on my own or order their pizza again. When I went in, I ordered a Gluten Free pizza and was excited that they offered "thick" crust Gluten Free. I ordered that and was willing to wait longer for it to be done. The waitress brought out this chard brick and asked if it was too done for me. Really? It was honestly burnt black, of course that is too done! I don't understand why she even brought it out, why not just tell me that it was burnt and they had to make another? Well, needless to say, they made me another pizza, but the second wasn't that much better. Everyone else was finished eating by the time mine came out and we had kids with us so they were getting cranky and miserable. The second pizza was more than done for my liking, the crust bordering on burnt. This isn't "thick" crust either, it just a smidgen thicker than the normal crust. Whoopdi-do. Just another reason to charge more money. While the outside of the crust was borderline burnt, the inside was still dough. It was just thick enough to see the two layers. Bottom line, I would rather get Domino's gluten free pizza then ever bother here again. If you can't make something right, don't offer it. read more

Outside area is dog friendly and staff is always accommodating for dogs. However the outside is extremely dirty there is always food scraps and cigarette butts all over the cement and even the tables sometimes. Would visit more often if it was cleaner outside. read more

A few of our friends visited from Houston for a wedding in November. After the wedding, we were a little hungry so we found firehouse pizza and pub. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had fresh food and a great time. Suggested drinks to us without pushing and also had great conversation with staff that were hanging out off the clock. Great experience and hope to visit the area again just to visit this place. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Ask for John when your in there! read more

We used to frequent the one in Peoria whenever we were in Central Illinois and were always wowed by the original thin crust pizza/sweet sauce and sweet garlic bread. Not sure why they closed. Have tried East Peoria a couple of times recently but it just doesn't hold up. Sausage on pizza is very small and not as tasty, sweet sauce is lacking, crust is adequate but not "wow". Sweet garlic bread holds up but best when piping hot. read more
