Would we recommend Corbin Whitlaw / Tier One Pools?  No!  For starters, our project kept getting…read morepushed back.  It was initially supposed to start on 7/28 but didn't actually get started until 9/4.  Corbin was only on site one time, and that was for about 15 minutes towards the end of the build.  His crew was great to work with but they couldn't make some of the decisions that needed to be made. Corbin took us to see the same pool design at another location and we liked the way it looked.  However, the bubblers on their tanning ledge were in a direct line while ours are offset.  This affects the way we can set our lounge chairs.  They installed the wrong heater.  We paid for a 400 BTU and they installed a 250 BTU.  It was also for natural gas and we have propane, which they knew because they dug the hole for the propane tank!  Once this was pointed out to them they said they would not do any more work until we made the final payment!  Per the contract, the final payment isn't due until the work is complete. After that, Corbin and his crew ghosted us.  They also left us with a green pool and we had to hire someone to clean it.  They couldn't believe they'd left our pool like that and they were surprised how much gravel was in the bottom of the pool. We finally had to get an attorney to help us get the job finished.  Now Corbin is ghosting us again on warranty work because we have issues on the equipment and he is not going to provide us with any answers.  We've, once again, had to get our attorney involved. One other thing:  Tier One Pools did NOT build our pool house.  They poured the concrete slab but that was it.  His ad implies they built the "complete backyard experience."  That is completely false.  There are also reviews on his page from crew members and ex girlfriend's who have NOT had pools installed.

As we watched our neighbors enjoy their pool that Summer I reached out to Ty and his staff at TNT Pools the following Spring and had him come out tell us about his pools. We'd interviewed several pool companies and decided on a fiberglass pool because of the shifting soil/earthquakes in Oklahoma. Almost all of the gunnite pools we'd looked at had cracking from the shifting soil issues, the fiberglass had not. TNT Pools was straight forward about the build, price, concise on their timeline with the caveat of weather (rain) as being the only delay, should it come up. They were onsite for about a week, had to dig through heavy limestone but got our pool installed in time (approx 9 days). We went with a salt system (Zodiac LM24) and have never looked back. The beautiful backyard, enhancement to our property and use of the pool was so worth it. When you house becomes the favorite house for your kids and their friends it's so much easier not to worry about where your children are at when they're just outside the back door. When it comes to service after the sale Ty and his staff are second to none. We've had to replace a pump (they go out after many years) and the sand in our filter changed, it was just a quick call and TNT's staff was promptly at the house. I have recommend Ty and TNT Pools and Spas to many friends who have had pools installed at their homes, all of them have had the same experience, very satisfied. Liz made promise after promise and never fixed anything. I have 2.5 hours of videos where she said the tile job on my pool was the worst ever and she would fix it. Then ghosted me.
