I have come to this location a few times and overall have a good experience. My main "complaint" is timing. This is not a place you can typically just "pop in" my sandwich took about 15 minutes to make. This has been my experience every time. I think this has to do with the amount of online orders they get. This place was clean. Chips and bottles of pop were stocked well and the fountain soda machine was also clean! When I first walked in, because it was so busy with online orders (there were about 5 people seated inside) no one acknowledged me for a few minutes. I get being busy but people kept looking at me and even a simple "we will be with you shortly" goes a long way. The food: Once I did get my sandwich, it was delicious!! I got the turkey, bacon and ranch! It was so tasty! I got chips and a soda as well! Very filling and I would be back for sure! But may be as a pick up order? Overall, I will be back, but only when I know I have some time to wait for a sandwich. read more

This was our second time here, and both times we did take out. Pretty fast for the amount of people coming in and out. Sandwiches were as ordered and advertised, over all pretty good. They had lots of options for seating and it seemed like it was 50/50 for the amount of people eating in/taking out. read more

Wow, I have dashed a few foods from here, and finally decided to try it. The Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket was phenominal. Congrats for making my first time awesome. This is by far my favorite Firehouse in the twin cities. However, the past two times we have received carry out, it has been subpar. So much mayo and dressing it's soggy. This time I requested, light mayo and dressing, but still so soggy. See the photo for the bottom of my sandwich. Gross! I also had to retoast my sub as the toasting was minimal at best. Second time here. First time on a Saturday there was a wait time of 14 minutes for 3 subs. This location is in a small strip mall and has hardly any parking spots. 2nd time here, ordered 3 subs again almost a 15 minute wait and it was around 718 pm on a weekday. The subs I tried are brisket one and meatball sub. The rest of the family liked the turkey and bacon and ham subs. Maybe ordering online, calling ahead or ordering just 1 is faster? I don't know. They have a name promo each day and yesterday it was LL so I scored a free medium sub with purchase. It was rung up wrong, but I had my receipt and got a refund. They supported my son's baseball team with free subs. If they sped things up, a 5 star review all day. read more

We were super excited to see a Firehouse Subs pop up in Apple Valley and were not disappointed. We had the Cajun Chicken sandwich and the Jerk Chicken sandwich that are both hiding on the right hand side of the menu, and both of them blew us away. The service was friendly and fast, store was nice. The only bummer was that the Firehouse location we used to go to in WA had a plethora of unique hot sauces that were always a treat to add to your sub, but they didn't have that (not sure if that's because of COVID, because they're a new location, or if they just don't have them). This is a household favorite for sandwiches, they really have something for everyone in our house hold which is saying something. My two kids have super different palates and I'm gluten sensitive so their gluten free option is a tasty godsend in a world where quick food options are limited for people who can't eat gluten. It's not probably safe for celiac folks but I've never noticed a big flare up or anything after eating food from here. Sometimes they don't show they have gluten free bread but we have called before and the guy said online hadn't updated they were back in stock and to put the order in, noted which one needed gluten free and gave it to me without the usual up-charge! I tried these subs for the first time ever and they are good and pricey. I took hook and ladder in a box and a sandwich too. It was good but needed something to kick the taste buds. I felt the sandwich was flat and dint excite me much. But the chicken Cajun was so delicious and good. It had right spice and taste to it. Visited on 1/23/24 when they opened. It's rare for fast food places to have friendly staff. Store was clean and the sub was better than other locations. When leaving the cook remembered my name and asked if I wanted a bag for my leftovers. Well managed location. read more

Had a chance to try out the new store in Apple Valley - First time in a Firehouse Sub. Very impressed with food quality. We had a medium Hero and an Italian sandwich, liked them both but the Italian was our favorite. Atmosphere was fun with fireman's uniforms hanging on hooks. So I know they just opened but this place is on point. We have ordered in person and online and they have only made one mistake in at least a dozen orders and it wasn't even a mistake with the food the wrong ticket got put on the wrong bag. But I called in right away and they took care and it and apologized. They have some younger staff but they are always polite and patient. The last time I went in there this old man was telling this teenager that they should start a bowl for leave a penny take a penny and as hilarious as this was the kid didn't laugh and just told this old man it was a great idea and even thanked him. So whether you have had bad service at other firehouse subs or never tired it make sure you swing by this location. Shout out of the manager, Josh, for taking care of getting my replacement order without issue. He was very professional and apologized for the inconvenience. I really like ordering food on nice hot day for my shop staff at 11:00 for 12 guys. The order was scheduled for 12:40 and when employee went to pick up the order they hadn't started yet. Mind u this meal is for lunch. It's 12:40 and we start making the sandwiches now? My employee stood their for god knows how long. I got the sandwich and opened it up always do cause the I don't give a shit Milanials made it! Staff is nice, store is fairly new. Food is not too bad for this chain. Pretty typical experience for this sandwich shop.

Wait was a little long but the sandwich is so worth it. We love the Turkey Bacon Ranch and the Steak and Cheese!
