This sandwich was amazing! Loved the bread and loved all the meat provided. Ordered togo and had no issues with the larger group order. Had been inside this place one time and it was your usual sub shop look!

I am not a big Subway fan--so for two years, I did not bother to check out Goodcents--thinking it was likely not as good as Subway. It is my loss. Goodcents is a great sandwich shop-friendly service, clean, and very tasty. The "fresh" in the sign is not a marketing gimmick. Rather, it refers to all the meats sliced right when you order it. The bread is fresh and soft. And maybe my favorite part is for every round of topping choices you have, there is a labeled card on the window with available choices. This is a new family-favorite place for us. It is the perfect Sunday spot to grab your sandwich and eat across the street at Cobblestone Lake Park pavillion. Better yet, follow it up with custard at Rita's next door.

I came here on a recommendation from a friend. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement since I've seen so many good reviews. My sandwich was slapped together and the bread was drenched. My sandwich was a toasted one and the bread felt like I dipped it in my drink. I couldn't even finish it. I won't be returning here

A rainy day is a good day to visit a Yelp bookmarked business. It rained today, so I made the drive to Goodcents. I walked in and was greeted before the door swung closed behind me. I glanced over the menu and opted for their Italian signature sandwich with the "standard dress". When I was ready to order I walked to the counter and the 2 employees awkwardly stared and waited until I made the first move. A simple "what can we make for you?" or something of the sort would have made this social interaction less weird. Anyway, I ordered and was impressed with the fact that they really do slice the meat fresh right in front of you upon ordering. I was unimpressed with the portions of 1 of the meats she put on and was really unimpressed with the 3 pieces of small Subway-style triangle cheese they put on my 12" sub. HOWEVER, those negative feelings faded away and I recognized them as poor assumptions after taking a few bites of my sandwich. The first thing you will notice is the bread. This is good bread. I had white bread for my sandwich, it was fresh, soft and chewy throughout. It really is awesome and pretty much made the sandwich. The meats on the Italian had a bit of spice which was a nice surprise. My previous portion concerns are gone due to all of the ingredients blending together perfectly to make one yummy sandwich. I look forward to going back and trying something different. As a seasoned Jimmy John's and Erbert and Gerbert's patron, I can tell you right now there is a noticeable difference in the quality of meats, veggies and especially bread. If it weren't so far away from me I would make it my usual sandwich spot. Good job guys, keep it up!

Apparently this is a chain restaurant but this location is the only one in mn. My friend and I ordered sandwiches from the app she has on her phone. We got 5, all different ones. They were all how we wanted. I loved the soft bread. There were many different toppings you could choose from. Today was a very hot day and the sandwiches were refreshing and satisfying. My friend picked them up so I didn't see the store but she said everything was fast and the owner was friendly, chatting about the weather. I enjoyed my sandwich, nice to try something different than subway or jimmy John's.

The bread is fantastic--crusty, fresh, and authentically French. They also have an incredible selection of beautiful pastries, cakes, and other classic French treats that look like they came straight out of a Parisian pâtisserie. And the coffee is absolutely exquisite. One thing that always makes me smile is that while the pastries look and taste authentically French, they're definitely American-sized! They're enormous. If you're hungry, you're in for a treat. More often than not, I'll enjoy half of one there with a coffee and take the rest home in a box for later. It's a wonderful little café with a relaxed atmosphere and a great place to sit and unwind. If you're in the Apple Valley area and looking for something a little different--something with a genuine European feel--I can't recommend Café de Paris highly enough. I'll definitely keep coming back.

I walked in and saw you could either order on a large touch screen on with a person at the front. I don't mind touch screens, so I went to start my order. The problem is that there are no pictures... so you're not 100% sure what you are ordering. I stopped the order and walked over to the case to order with the employee instead. There was one woman in front of me and she got her items quickly. I ordered 5 items. (See pic below) All of them were fantastic! I really do judge a place by how well they can do a croissant, and this place does them very well!! The employees were very polite but for some reason my order took almost 15 mins to fill... I watched them pull the items from the case, so I'm not sure why it took them so long to do the order. There was only one other person who ordered after me and she had a drink and a box of pastries too... she received her items first. As for the space, it is bland and feels like an old Carribou coffee.... There really wasn't anything that felt "Paris or French" here. Very bland and not very cozy. If you plan on going(the food was very good) order it to go...

You can make reservations and they have an app with a loyalty program. There often is a wait during dinner time, so if you can plan ahead I would make a reservation. Tavern Grill recently revamped their menu and they have some really great dishes! Some notable dishes: -- The Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps appetizer is SO fresh and flavorful! You can add on cashews and avocado. The avocado slices were so thick and fresh. The wonton strips were some of the best I've had -- so light and crispy. The thai peanut sauce on the chicken was fantastic and the ginger sauce had a pretty decent kick to it. -- The Chicken Skewers entree is my go-to dish. It's such a classic and it has consistently been good every time I've ordered it. The chicken is juicy and the peppers and onions have a nice charred grilled flavor. The garlic parmesan sauce complements the dish well. -- The Chicken Wild Rice Soup is on the chunkier side, which I enjoyed! It was nice and creamy and didn't skimp out on the wild rice. The Clam Chowder served on Fridays was a little too salty. -- The Skillet Cookie is so warm and gooey! The ice cream melts right into the warm cookie. The cookie is on the doughier side and the outside is on the softer side. It's almost the size of the entire plate, so it's easily shareable between a few people. -- The Fish Fry Basket doesn't taste too greasy, and the tarter sauce complements the fish well. The fish has a clean flavor and on Fridays you can get a refill of 4 pieces of fried fish for an additional $7.50. You can add on their seasoned sour cream for an additional cost.
